The full story of the incident is like this.

“Team Leader, is there anything that guy dropped?”

“Something he dropped? Does the type matter?”

“Yes.”

‘It didn’t matter if it was a booger or anything else.’

‘Because I needed a medium to connect with that guy.’

The Team Leader soon brought the item I requested.

The item he brought was a strand of hair inside a transparent plastic bag.

“If there’s hair, can’t you do a DNA investigation?”

“We’ve already tried.”

The culprit was a regular elderly person nearing 78.”

“…….”

‘It was surprising that the transformation ability could even deceive DNA tests.’

‘That’s why I asked if anything was alright.’

“Well, it’s fine. Because my curse isn’t affected by DNA.”

I took out a talisman paper and tore a piece of skin from my finger.

Then Haim panicked and took my finger.

“What are you doing! Why is there suddenly blood…”

“Why? Of course, I’m casting a curse.”

“……?”

I carved characters with the blood flowing from my finger, and when I touched the hair to the talisman, the talisman absorbed the hair.

“…You need blood when casting a curse?”

“Of course. The caster’s blood and a medium are essential elements.”

I checked the characters carved on the talisman.

The Chinese character written on the talisman was the character for ‘mist’.

It was a curse that drew the opponent into an unknown mist and showed them illusions.

Tear

When I tore the talisman, it spontaneously combusted and disappeared.

This meant it had worked properly.

“So that means they’re coming towards us?”

“Give me a hand mirror to check.”

Haim handed over a hand mirror used for makeup, and for a moment, I swept my hand across the mirror to check.

[Ughhh!! What happened!]

The man reflected in the mirror was running at full speed, avoiding ghosts and strange birds.

“Looks like they’ll arrive in about 2 hours.”

“Wow… Older Brother, you’re really like a prophet.”

Snap!

‘She clearly meant it as a compliment, but it was too unpleasant.’

I pulled her mouth sideways as a warning.

“……!”

Lee Haim was flustered.

‘What is Older Brother doing?’

“Mph mph mph!!!? (What are you doing?!)”

“You, just say you’re like a prophet one more time. Prepare yourself, because I’ll tear that mouth.”

“Mph mph mph!!!(Why are you suddenly like this?!)”

‘I couldn’t understand anything but the ‘mph’ sounds, but I could roughly understand from her expression and accent.’

“You’re comparing me to those guys.”

‘Like a prophet?’

‘Considering the church prophets, that’s a f*cking rude remark.’

‘I need to properly engrave this lesson this time.’

“Those guys have to see the future to get it right, but I get it right without even seeing it. Of course I’m more outstanding.”

‘No, those guys weren’t even seeing the future.’

‘Upon investigation, it was merely them saying random things and the church’s subordinates manipulating things behind the scenes.’

‘The amount of stress I got from that was enough to destroy an entire empire and still not be enough.’

And so, we waited.

Until the thief came.

***

As he fainted, the man’s transformation was undone.

But his original appearance was quite a sight.

“It was a woman?”

And what’s more, she was a tall woman who looked over 170cm.

I never dreamed it was a woman.

“Oh, congratulations.”

“It’s a relief we caught them.”

Following behind were the Team Leader and Lee Jiwoo.

‘They didn’t do anything but were getting credit, it felt sickening, but it couldn’t be helped.’

“Handle the culprit as you see fit.”

‘Whether they said they caught her, or she had collapsed on the side of the road by chance, as long as she wasn’t linked to me, it didn’t matter.’

‘What I needed was that briefcase.’

I quickly opened the briefcase and searched for the document with my information.

‘Found it!’

Name: Lee Seonga

Special Notes: Profession: Fortune-teller.

At first, she was thought to be an ordinary fortune-teller, but she boasts fortune-telling abilities that seem granted by a god.

There is nothing she cannot predict, including lottery, stocks, and real estate.

It is judged that she can control the global economic market with this ability.

“…….”

‘They really wrote it in detail.’

‘Just looking at it is annoying.’

‘I should tear it up quickly, no, burn it.’

“Hey, lighter.”

“Here.”

Toss.

Haim threw the lighter, and I turned it on to burn the document.

Including my information, and all information about all Awakened Ones.

“……!”

The Team Leader and Lee Jiwoo seemed quite flustered by my actions.

“Since I worked for free, consider this the price. Hey, let’s go.”

“Huh? Yeah.”

Haim followed behind me, looking bewildered, but she didn’t have a dissatisfied expression.

‘Well, since her information also disappeared, it was probably a gain for her.’

After that, a week passed, and while I was broadcasting as usual, a text message suddenly arrived.

[Excuse me, we need you to come to the Association today.]

[The Team Leader said he has something to tell you regarding your broadcast.]

‘Regarding my broadcast?’

I was starting to get annoyed.

‘Why are they calling me so often?!’

However, since they said they called regarding my broadcast, I should probably go.

Since my sister went to attend a lecture, I had no choice but to go alone.

Creak

“……!”

When I opened the meeting room door, a familiar face was waiting for me.

A woman who looked over 170cm stood up from her seat and greeted me.

“Pleased to meet you, you must be Ms. Seonga?

I am Choi Hayul, a new intern assigned to the Returnee Team!”

The woman who introduced herself as Choi Hayul greeted me brightly and cheerfully, but I wasn’t.

‘Doesn’t she remember me?’

Looking only at her expression, I didn’t feel any negative emotions like displeasure.

“You’re already here.”

“Ah, I don’t want to go to work.”

“……!”

Following behind, the Team Leader and Lee Jiwoo arrived.

I quickly closed the door and asked outside the meeting room in the hallway what was going on.

“Why is she here? Wasn’t she supposed to go to prison?”

“Ah, Hayul?”

The Team Leader replied as if it was nothing.

“She’s a new employee who just joined.”

“She’s my junior too.”

‘No, did I ask that?’

‘What I was curious about was why that person was here.’

“Wasn’t she supposed to go to prison?”

“We also initially intended to just send her to jail.”

The problem was that she was hospitalized in the intensive care unit for three days due to sudden shock.

And after 5 days, the first thing she said when she saw the Team Leader and Lee Jiwoo was…

“Where is this? And who am I?”

It was amnesia.

‘It was probably because her existing memories were lost due to the knowledge that suddenly entered.’

The Team Leader and Lee Jiwoo pondered.

Whether to tell her the truth or not.

At that time, Lee Jiwoo suggested an idea.

-“How about just having her join us?”

At those words, the Team Leader thought.

-“Oh, that’s a good idea.”

The Returnee Team was a recently created department, so it was always short-staffed.

Until now, it had been managed well with Lee Jiwoo’s abilities, but now it had reached its limit.

They needed new talent.

And so, Choi Hayul became a new employee of the Returnee Team.

“This friend is unexpectedly capable.”

She has amnesia, but I don’t know how she passed the civil service exam she took as a joke.”

“That’s right, I failed twice.”

At those words, a hypothesis flashed through my mind.

‘Could it be because of the knowledge I injected?’

There was nothing else.

How could a person with amnesia pass the civil service exam in just one week?

‘F*ck, I should have injected moderately…!’

‘I just injected until she fainted, but it seems I injected too much.’

She then underwent an identity check and joined the Association, they said.

‘…Alright, let’s let this pass.’

Since a part of this was my fault, I could let it pass.

What I was curious about was what came next.

“So, didn’t you say you called me because of my broadcast? Tell me quickly.”

“Well, alright. Do you perhaps not need something like a broadcast manager?”

“……?”

‘A broadcast manager suddenly?’

‘Why are they asking that?’

‘Well, I do need one.’

Now the viewers are approaching 3,000, and it’s hard for me to manage the chat individually by myself.

Of course, Haim does help, but it was impossible when she had lectures.

“We always monitor Ms. Seonga’s broadcast, you see.”

‘Monitoring?’

‘I didn’t know that.’

‘I should ban them later.’

“However, we occasionally see chat messages asking for stock and lottery information. Wouldn’t that problem resurface if this continues?”

“…….”

‘I admit it.’

Such chat messages occasionally appeared, and such posts were also uploaded on the fan cafe I created yesterday.

I am definitely feeling the need for a manager these days.

“So you’re telling me to use that person as a manager?”

“Yes, we are also short-staffed and don’t think we can handle being a broadcast manager ourselves, so we suggest it would be better to have a separate person in charge.”

‘Hmm, I’m wondering what to do.’

“Do I have to pay the salary?”

“No, this is part of the Association’s work, so Ms. Seonga does not need to pay.”

We offered each other handshakes.

‘The contract is concluded.’

“Oh, right, we met today to give you this.”

The Team Leader handed me something.

It was an Awakened One license.

The rank was C.

“You lied on your broadcast that you were an Awakened One. Since a situation where you might be suspected could arise, we made one for you.”

‘Do they really have nothing else to do?’

Then a question suddenly occurred to me.

“Is it alright to just make something like this?”

The Team Leader shrugged his shoulders.

“Yes, the stocks Ms. Seonga told us about hit the jackpot. We can pay the bail and have her released.”

‘What should I really do about this Team Leader?’

‘Even if things go wrong, I really hope they don’t drag me into it too.’

“Hayul, we’re done talking. Come out now.”

“Yes!”

Choi Hayul came out of the meeting room and greeted me again.

“I am Choi Hayul, who will be working as Ms. Seonga’s dedicated manager from now on. Please take care of me!”

‘Her greeting is certainly cheerful.’

‘I hope that cheerfulness continues.’

“Yes, please take care of me too. I’ll send you the broadcast rules and ID by text message.”

After that, I returned home and turned on the broadcast.

Today, I had content I promised the viewers.

Title: <Chu Wang’s Fortune-telling House Open>

-Congrats

-Chuha

-Chuha

-Congrats

As I turned on the broadcast, viewers began to flock in.

Now it wouldn’t be out of place to be called a proper broadcaster.

-What are you doing today? PK?

“No. Today, I’ll be doing the content I prepared. You uploaded my pictures to the fan cafe, right?”

Because of this, I also created a fan cafe and asked viewers to upload their identification photos.

‘Did they upload them well?’

-What content is it?

-Uploaded

-Yeah

“The content for today is reading your faces.”

‘Face of a murderer, drug dealer, arsonist, s*x offender, whatever it is, come out.’

‘I’ll get everything right!’
