So Mu-yun, a rookie patrol officer freshly assigned to his local station, is just beginning to find his footing in a life that never seems to slow down.

In the middle of his hectic days, he discovers something unexpected—the firefighter who left a terrible first impression on him, Won Tae-i, turns out to be his next-door neighbor.

With the Seohung Police Substation and Seohung Fire Station practically right across the street from each other, the two are bound to run into each other every single day.

Constant bickering slowly turns into something more, as Mu-yun and Tae-i begin to grow closer bit by bit.

Then one day, a strange case appears before them.
