Luti, Though she possesses the ominous odd-colored eyes that are considered a bad omen, she has radiant blonde hair and a beautiful appearance. Born with a secret, she was raised by Ru, a dwarf gifted with the power of the forest. After offering the demon Sorotel a small bargain, she is gifted with her life.
Jerond Boven Gladzor, The son of the Imperial Knight Commander and the leader of a search party. He has never allowed a woman to stay by his side, but after discovering Luti during a reconnaissance mission, he becomes intrigued by her and takes her back to his castle.
Deep in an uninhabited forest, Luti spends peaceful days with the dwarf Ru until she encounters the Demon Sorotel.
Realizing that she has no chance of escaping, Luti decides that she might as well make a deal with him. After eating the candy Luti offers him and becoming pleased by its taste, Sorotel accepts her proposal.
Then, one day, intruders dressed in black uniforms appear before Sorotel and Luti. As cannon fire erupts and flames engulf the forest, Luti nearly loses consciousness from terror. At that moment, Sorotel pierces her chest with one of his horns.
The only thing left behind in the forest after the men riding black horses sweep through it is Luti.
Five years later, Luti, who has survived alone ever since, encounters an Imperial search party riding black horses—men who look eerily similar to those who destroyed the forest five years ago.
The search party’s leader, Jerond, discovers that only he can see that Luti’s eyes are different colors. And for some reason, he cannot take his eyes off her strangely familiar golden hair.
“Will you become the first human I’ve ever found in this forest, or will you come with me to my castle?”
Jerond mistakenly believes Luti is a mute woman, and she leaves the forest under the guidance of this unfamiliar man.
