During the early stages of the zombie outbreak, hospitals, already operating at full capacity, were now overrun with patients, transforming them into true hells filled with the living dead.
XX University Hospital’

Beyond the blood-stained sign, the roads were choked with abandoned vehicles and zombies.

“Grrr….”

“Ugh….”

Cars that had crashed into each other and been abandoned, burned-out vehicles, ambulances with interiors splattered in blood, and dilapidated, collapsing makeshift shelters – all leading to the university hospital at the end.

The hopes and aspirations of medical personnel, seeking to revive the fading embers of life, had long since morphed into the moans of corpses craving blood and the thick shadow of death.

Once institutions that saved countless lives and trained residents, they were now pathetic scenes devoid of even the slightest spark of life.

“Grrr…”

‘Thud’

Inside a passenger car with all the windows shattered, a zombie strapped into the seat flailed its arms in reaction to its surroundings. When its arm brushed against s*ave 2’s hulking muscles,

‘Crack! Bang!’

He picked up the passenger car, now completely ruined, and hurled it off the road. Then he continued to advance, along with the countless zombies who trailed in the wake of the path created by clearing all obstacles.

‘At least I arrived at the hospital…’

Having been forcibly carried on his shoulders for half a day, I finally arrived at the intended destination: the hospital.

“Grrr….”

“Alright, now I really need to get down, so can you bend down a bit?”

When I thought about all the hardships I had to go through to redirect the self-centered s*ave 2, I never wanted to ride him again.

“Grrr…”

But for the sake of s*ave 1, who was being held hostage instead of me, I had to somewhat satisfy s*ave 2’s proxy satisfaction.

“Alright, then, I’m going to explore the hospital, so wait here!”

Finally, I jumped down onto the cracked asphalt road after being freed from the piggyback ride, waved at s*ave 1, who was still flailing in the air with one ankle grabbed, and s*ave 2, who was standing there blankly.

Tap
Thud!’

Well, he’s not the kind of guy who will wait just because I told him to…

“Kyaaaaaa!!!!”
“Krr!!”
“Kuaooo!!”
“Grrr!…”
“Kiyak!”
“Ugh….”

“Holy sh*t…”

In front of the entrance to the university hospital building, I used the Aggro skill on the zombies lurking here and there. Not only the zombies outside the building, but all the ones inside as well reacted.

‘Thud!’
‘Splat!’
‘Thwack!’

The problem was that the number was beyond my imagination…
The number of zombies surrounding me exploded in an instant, including the stray zombies who weren’t reacting at all, and the ones who were literally performing free falls from the shattered windows and rooftops of the hospital building.

Should I just settle down here for a while?

It’s an ultra-awesome experience point farming zone!

“Kuaooo!!”
‘Thud! Boom!’

I don’t know if it’s because of the Aggro skill I used, but I left s*ave 2 (a moment of silence for s*ave 1, who he was holding), who was single-handedly wrecking vehicles and acting crazy, and entered the hospital building.

Since most of the zombies were drawn outside the building, it had become relatively quiet, except for the first floor,

Nevertheless, there were still a certain number of zombies wandering around, due to the 10% that were not drawn by Aggro or zombies trapped inside that couldn’t get out.

“Ugh… There’s no place to step.”

Most of the zombies that had filled the hospital had gone outside, but the zombies that still remained were roaming around, the doors were banging,

The walls and floors were splattered with blood, and there were corpses with only pure white bones mixed with cluttered hospital supplies…

Even though it was daytime, the dimly lit corridors, due to the power outage, were more terrifying than the movie Gonjiam.
‘Crack! Bang!’

“Krr!…”

“Heeik!”

A patient zombie in a hospital gown came crashing through a door that suddenly broke, rushing straight towards me with the force of inertia.
“Krr….”

“Jeez! You startled me.”

The zombie, now bewildered, staggered away, leaving me alone.

It’s fortunate that I’m a zombie; it’s a place where a normal survivor could die at any time… I thought.

“Gasp! Ugh..ugh…”

The director’s office, which I entered without much thought, welcomed me with a corpse hanging and rotting,
‘Tap Tap Tap Tap’

When I opened the drawer to see if there was anything useful, there was a zombie head left alone, clicking its teeth together.

“Ha… Sh*t…”

Inside a closed room, there was a half-eaten corpse, swarming with maggots and flies, among food wrappers and empty water bottles, starving to death…

“Krr…”

Hic.

“The dark corridors, even though I stood still like a corpse, the zombies got up groggily only when I approached…
“This place is crazy, I have to get out of here immediately.”

I feel like I’m going to die from mental illness before anything else if I stay here any longer.

I had entered main rooms like the director’s office, hoping there would be some useful information, but they were all duds.

I forced myself to check even the blood-soaked medical charts in the examination rooms, but they were all information written just before the outbreak… Practically useless information.

In the first place, I came here to level up and find useful information, not to have a test of courage or a spiritual experience…

It may be a perfect place to level up, but getting out of this godforsaken place as soon as possible is my answer.

“Kuaooo!!”

“I never thought I’d be so glad to see you, s*ave 2…”

On the stairs leading down to the first floor, it was the first time that I felt reliable about s*ave 2, who was still single-handedly acting crazy outside.

“It was terrible being with you, and I’m never going inside a hospital building again.”

After all, I don’t need medicine since I’m already a zombie, and I can level up outside.
Therefore, I will never go near a hospital again…

“Burgh… Guewaeck… “

On the stairs to the 1st floor of the emergency exit, I could hear a vomiting sound similar to a burp from the basement.

“Guwek!… Grrr…”

It’s not the early stages of the zombie outbreak, and it can’t be a survivor in this place already full of zombies.

I’ve never seen a zombie making a sound like that.

“It’s a Mutant.”

Now that I’ve seen mutants like the Hunter and Charger, there’s no need to deduce what the remaining mutant is.

But what I’m worried about is…

“Should I check that?”

Of course, zombies and special zombies never attack each other because they are the same “kin”.

Naturally, that mutant in the basement will not attack me, nor will there be any reason to attack me, unless he mistakes me for a survivor.

It’s not dangerous, but…

I just don’t want to go into that dark basement.
‘Click’

There’s a flashlight, but that’s separate from just not wanting to go.

But if I just leave, I’m curious about what that mutant looks like…

“Ugh… Should I go? Or not?”

“Krr…”

Ah, you came at the right time.

s*ave 2, who had finished acting crazy and was now next to me, is really reliable at times like this.

“Go, s*ave 2!”

“Ggrrr?…..”

Ah, I have to take the lead after all…

I illuminated the basement with a flashlight and went down to the 1st floor of the basement.

Like the upper floor, the atmosphere is even more eerie because it’s decorated with blood and corpses here and there, but

“Thanks to s*ave 2, who is right behind me, I’m not scared.”

It seems like it was around here…”

After going down to the basement, the mutant’s sound had suddenly stopped.

I had no choice but to look around directly and open the closed doors one by one, and
“Clunk, Squeak…”

That’s how I suddenly encountered the new mutant for the first time

“At?”

Why was it that timing out of all the times…

“Grrr….”

It was the worst, which is impossible to describe in words.

“Ugh! Gueweeeck, uwaeeck! Puuraeeck!….”
