The world held a Saint of Oracles, a Hero, and the Demon King, humanity’s scourge.
The Hero gathered companions, and after overcoming countless hardships, they reached the Demon Realm.
Demons relentlessly attacked them, and not a single battle was easy, but they ultimately triumphed.
If this were a game, the grand BGM signaling the final chapter would have stopped by now.
“Phew…”
The Saint exhaled a hot breath, likely a reaction to her intense movements. Ignoring her staggering body, she approached the Demon King.
Clang
Releasing the grip of her right hand, a dagger rolled across the floor.
“…This is the last one.”
As if finishing a tedious chore, she knelt down. Her snow-white hand fumbled across the Demon King’s firm chest, then plunged the reversed dagger downwards.
Squish. Squish. Crack.
“Damn, he’s tough.”
Those watching her from behind couldn’t help but gulp.
The elegant black saintly robe. The deep slits on the sides, long enough to risk revealing her undergarments, exuded sexiness. Her upper body and pelvis, accentuated despite the robe’s generous fit. She was truly a beautiful sight, befitting the title of “Saint.” However…
Her companions dared not approach her.
Yes, to reiterate, she was a Saint, not some assassin. Yet, she had fought the final battle against the Demon King as if she were a scout.
Of course, the Demon King had used his final “Clone” pattern, and the Saint, ignoring it, charged forward, even canceling the pattern. So, one couldn’t say it wasn’t appropriate situational judgment, but…
At her feet lay the “Demon King.” The one who, until moments ago, was the ruler of this castle, now a cold corpse with its chest cleaved open. The Saint, holding the Demon King’s heart, wore a rapturous smile.
It was enough to make one think that the words “Take 2” might appear, and the final boss might change.
“…Um… Saint?”
“…Yes?”
A slightly delayed, but otherwise normal response. The Hero inwardly sighed in relief.
“This is the end of our journey together.”
But the Saint began to back away, as if keeping her distance.
The Goddess chose a Saint to save the world.
I was transmigrated into such a cliché game.
But unlike its cliché premise, the game’s content was excessively realistic and visceral.
In this world, the position I was transmigrated into was neither Hero nor Mage, but Saint.
Why the Saint? Even if I asked, what’s done is done.
However, this excessively realistic world had low regard for women’s rights, and crucially, I was transmigrated not into the body of an overpowered Saint, but that of a young girl.
It was practically reincarnation.
Truly, there were countless hardships, but alongside my companions, I managed to defeat the Demon King.
The Hero continued talking, but I only half-heartedly nodded, my gaze fixed on the screen.
The blue system window kept sending me notifications.
[Commencing Evaluation.]
The structure of the world. Several dimensions different from my previous world.
Most of it was incomprehensible. Things unrelated to me, I thought, but there were a few crucial pieces of information.
“Saint, even so, that was too reckless.”
The b*tch Mage said primly. She wasn’t called a b*tch for nothing. Under her mage robes, she wore an outfit so risqué it would make a succubus blush.
The last time I saw her, she was wearing something like a nightgown with holes in all the important places.
‘Ah… No, it’s just, it was a surprise attack…’
She made excuses after the fact, but in short, she was such a slut that she’d do it with the Hero in the middle of the monster forest. And now, as soon as the battle was over, she snuggled up to the Hero’s arm and said such ridiculous things.
Well, I wasn’t particularly fond of her, but she was still a party member I had been with for years.
“Is that so?”
I smiled sweetly.
Elin, the Elf Archer, trotted over.
The distinct forget-me-not scent of elves filled the air, soothing the unpleasant, blood-soaked atmosphere.
‘Definitely effective.’
Elves truly were air purifiers.
She hugged me tightly and whispered in my ear.
“Are you really, really not interested in the Hero? If you change your mind now…”
“Hey, you b*tch.”
She just couldn’t let things end nicely, could she?
She widened her eyes in surprise at the sudden curse, looking rather cute.
The problem was, this wasn’t the first time she had said something like this.
I had already told her countless times, “I’m not interested in the Hero.”
Besides, you weren’t in any position to say such things to me. One way or another, the Hero was my fiancé.
Even if it wasn’t by my choice.
In short, it was as if I had given my man to her.
And yet, she kept questioning me suspiciously like this.
I raised the dagger in my left hand. It was red. Not with blood, but made from Red Dragon Bone. These twin daggers looked like they were made of rubies, works of art, but incredibly sharp. A slight graze, and the elf in front of me would bleed out and die.
Just the thought made the elf freeze, staring at the dagger, and I couldn’t help but chuckle.
Her trembling pupils seemed to say, “No, right? Not really, right?”
I shook my head, dismissing the thought.
Despite our bickering, I had treated this elf like a sister.
A real-life sister, albeit one I constantly fought with.
“Saint, that’s… not a good thing… If you hold it for too long…”
The Mage’s voice was unusually serious. Her gaze flickered towards the dagger, which was emitting a purplish aura. She seemed anxious, unable to bear looking at it directly yet afraid to look away. In the Saint’s fair hand pulsed the dark purple heart, radiating a dreadful energy. It was something one could never get used to.
“Um… should we burn that…?”
She must have thought I would purify it with holy power, but I had no such intention.
‘What nonsense is this b*tch spouting?’
[…You, can, do, it…. Next, Demon King….]
Of course, it wasn’t like the discomfort piercing my mind didn’t exist. But after years of listening to those moans from the tent next door, I could easily dismiss this as a child’s whining.
And it certainly wouldn’t be my fault if my nerves were frayed because of it.
“Sena is right. Even for the Saint, that’s dangerous…”
I shoved the Elf towards the approaching Hero with all my might.
“Kyaa~!”
Overdramatic much?
She could have easily dodged, yet she let out a girlish scream and fell into the Hero’s arms.
The Mage glared at her.
Perfect.
Parting melodrama wouldn’t suit us anyway.
The Hero sighed.
How did things end up like this?
He and the Saint were engaged, promised to each other before they became party members. Although it was arranged by the kingdom, they were supposed to have a grand wedding after defeating the Demon King.
But did he even deserve that?
It started with Sena, the Mage.
The beautiful party member who snuck into his bed. Refusing her was no easy task.
‘Don’t worry, we won’t be caught. My soundproofing magic is perfect.’
Sena in bed was more alluring than any succubus.
Even so, the Hero hesitated. At first, anyway.
The Saint was kind, but never allowed any physical intimacy beyond what was appropriate for comrades.
So, he rationalized his actions.
He was just lying there; Sena was the one who seduced him.
But somewhere along the way, he started looking forward to the nights. The only pleasure on their arduous journey.
Perhaps that was why.
Pride comes before a fall.
‘Wh-What…?!’
It seemed Sena’s magic wasn’t enough to fool Elin’s elven senses. In the middle of their passionate encounter, Elin walked in.
‘It’s… I was careless.’
Sena said apologetically.
Thinking back, it was only natural. Elin was primarily responsible for scouting and reconnaissance for their party. There was no way she wouldn’t notice their nightly trysts, not just once, but every single day.
‘It’s over.’
The Hero squeezed his eyes shut.
A situation beyond excuses.
‘Will she tell the Saint?’
That expectation was gloriously overturned.
Elin, after a moment of stunned silence, climbed onto the bed.
‘…Elin?’
‘This is a secret from Lute… right?’
After that, Elin joined in, and they indulged like beasts almost every day.
Then came that day.
After putting the two to sleep and leaving the tent, he saw the Saint sitting by a tree trunk. Her hands were clasped neatly together, her eyes gently closed as if she were sleeping peacefully. The rising sun illuminated her silver hair, making it shimmer beautifully like the finest silk.
But even with such a beautiful sight…
‘Did she find out…?’
The first thing that came to mind was his own transgression.
Two tents. One for the Saint, and one for Sena and Elin. Three of them in one.
And the other, the one he had just left, was his.
But right now, those two were sleeping in his tent.
‘It’s okay. The Saint sleeps a lot.’
That was their conversation from last night.
Indeed, the Saint was known to be a heavy sleeper.
“Um… Saint.”
The Hero was thinking of suggesting they sleep together.
It had been six years since their journey began; six years since their engagement. A kiss, or perhaps even a light, intimate encounter, wouldn’t be out of line, would it? Even if the Saint was a profession that valued purity, as long as they didn’t go all the way…
It was a surprisingly bold move for the passive Hero. The technique to satisfy two women had boosted his confidence as a male.
“You’ve been working hard.”
Elin was out scouting, and Sena had gone out for a bit to find food, he was about to explain. But she spoke first. With a gentle voice, her long eyelashes fluttered, and her eyes opened. Her ruby-red eyes seemed to pierce right through him.
“Uh… yeah.”
The Hero dumbly replied, averting his gaze. This was probably how a husband caught cheating looked.
That was why, even as the Saint distanced herself, he couldn’t bring himself to stop her.
