I read through the flurry of messages.

“Miasma, huh?” I approached the Wolf King’s corpse. With the miasma gone, it had shrunk to 5 meters, its fur and eyes returning to their normal silver and black.

“It’s not repulsive anymore.” The revulsion I felt earlier had vanished.

“The miasma must have been the source.” I retrieved the Holy Sword embedded nearby, lost in thought.

Miasma. A repulsive and foul power, far more negative than anything I’d encountered before, even the negative cursed energy from Jujutsu Kaisen. It was dangerous.

“Mutated mana beasts. Exposure to miasma causes mutations, increasing their strength and aggression.” I didn’t know the reason, but the Wolf King had been exposed to miasma, causing it to mutate and become stronger and more aggressive.
