“Nika? Joy Boy? What is this…?” I was surprised by the revelations from my One Piece research. The Gum-Gum Fruit was a god, and the whole plot apparently revolves around some devil.
“I’ll think about that later. First, my objective.” My priority in One Piece was obtaining a Devil Fruit.
“I’ve already decided which one.” I was aiming for a Logia-type Devil Fruit, which granted control over an element.
“I have the Elemental Efficiency skill now, and Logia has more advantages than Zoan or Paramecia.” Elemental Efficiency, acquired from the recent draw, seemed perfect for a Logia fruit. Zoan fruits granted animal transformations, and Paramecia fruits granted various, often less spectacular abilities. While some Paramecia fruits were tempting, they were mostly already owned by powerful characters or locked away in inaccessible locations.
“Alright, let’s go.” I stretched and selected One Piece from the Leisure list.
Shine (10 years old)
An orphaned Skypiean, subject to God’s rule. A multi-winged mutant ostracized and discriminated against. Has not consumed a Devil Fruit and possesses talent in Haki.
Draug (10 years old)
A Celestial Dragon with a typical arrogant personality. Has consumed the Mythical Zoan-type Human-Human Fruit, Model: Angel, granting an angelic appearance.
Monkey D. Luffy (10 years old)
A young boy who consumed the Mythical Zoan-type Human-Human Fruit, Model: Nika. Possesses immense talent in Haki.
“Luffy is out.” I didn’t want the Nika fruit. It was powerful, but its abilities didn’t suit me, and he had already consumed a fruit, preventing me from using the Penalty Removal Ticket.
Option 2, the Celestial Dragon, was also out. While the status was tempting, he had already consumed a fruit, one that overlapped with my Trait.
That left one option.
“Avatar 1.” A mutant Skypiean living on Skypiea, where the Devil Fruit I wanted was located.
[Starting Leisure.]
I selected option 1. A message appeared, and my vision went black.
“Ugh…” Pain was the first thing I felt.
“My body is covered in wounds.” Bruises and cuts littered Shine’s body.
“So, this is the discrimination they talked about.” I used magic to heal the wounds. Shine’s memories flooded my mind.
Born with two pairs of large wings, unlike other Skypieans, and orphaned by an accident, Shine was ostracized and bullied.
“These kinds of people are everywhere.” Those who feared and rejected anyone different. A tiresome and foolish lot, present in both reality and this Leisure.
“Now then…” I changed out of Shine’s tattered clothes and donned the Combat Attire and Holy Armor from my Inventory, adjusting their size to fit my body.
“Time for revenge.” I couldn’t let Shine’s suffering go unpunished.
“I’ll just erase about half of them.” I took to the air, flapping my two pairs of wings. I sought out the familiar faces from Shine’s memories: those who tormented, ostracized, and discriminated against him, and impaled them with Radiant Spears.
“W-Why?! Why are you doing this?!” An old man, whose son and grandson lay dead with spears in their chests, asked me with tears streaming down his face. He was one of the ringleaders of Shine’s tormentors.
“Haha.” I laughed.
“You did it to me too.”
“W-What…?”
“You beat me, cursed me, and almost killed me. You did it all.”
This was justified revenge for Shine’s suffering, for the unjust treatment he endured for being different.
“Shut up and accept it, lowlife.” For the old man, I crafted special arrows of light and pierced his limbs.
“Ugh… ugh…”
“You won’t die easily. That’s your punishment. Reflect on what you did to me.”
I flew towards my next destination, reviewing my gains from the massacre.

“Stats and proficiency increased. No new skills or Traits, unfortunately.” I was slightly disappointed but satisfied overall.
“Wait, was that my first time killing a human?” I had killed something humanoid before, but it was more of a monster than a human.
“I feel surprisingly indifferent.” No guilt or remorse. Just… apathy.
“Am I twisted? Or have I changed?”
I knew I wasn’t normal. I hadn’t been normal since I killed the creatures that devoured my parents and wore their faces.
“My angel Trait probably has something to do with it.” My Radiant and Adaptive Angel Trait had changed me into an angel, a superior being wielding light and adapting to all phenomena. My perception had likely shifted, from that of a human to that of an angel, a superior being. This likely amplified my already twisted nature, turning me into a complete lunatic.
“Well, it’s not so bad.” Being insane was better than being normal and constantly burdened by emotions.
“Oh, I’m here.” Lost in thought, I had arrived at my destination.
“God Enel.”
The Devil Fruit I wanted: the Rumble-Rumble Fruit, granting control over lightning. And the false god who wielded it, Enel. Upper Yard, where he resided.
I spotted him from above, looking up at me from the ground.
‘He noticed me.’ I hadn’t bothered hiding. Enel, with his Mantra, a form of observation Haki covering the entire island, would have noticed my actions.
“Who are you?” Enel asked, crackling with electricity.
Bathed in the light of my aura, I replied, “The angel who will kill you.”
“Ha.” Enel laughed, as if amused.
Then, his laughter ceased. “Perish by the wrath of God.”
El Thor
A bolt of lightning struck down at me.
“…” I didn’t dodge. I took the divine wrath head-on.
Crackle!
“Ugh.” It hurt. Not enough to kill me, but it was painful. However…
“Is that all?”
“What?!” Thanks to my stats, skills, and armor, the attack was barely a nuisance. And that nuisance…
Click.
…was now gone. My Adaptation had neutralized the lightning.
“Now that I’ve adapted, let’s begin.” Enel had made a memorable face when his attacks failed against Luffy in the original story.
“I…” I would see that face today.
“…will win.”
