Chapter 1: Ex-Girlfriend

It was a spring day, the wind crisp and the air refreshing.

The bare, white legs of the girls on the street swayed back and forth, their fleshy thighs quivering.

The streets were crowded with people.

“Don’t rush, slow down~~”

Zhuang Yayun’s delicate fingers gently nudged Lin Yi’s.

Lin Yi panted, finally making it out, drenched in sweat from exhaustion.

The crowd had been far too dense; the people swarming the mall for the shopping festival had nearly separated him from his wife.

“I’ll head home first, then, and wait for you there.”

Zhuang Yayun smiled, her beautiful eyes curving into crescents, her elegant black hair plaited into a side ponytail that draped over her shoulder.

“Okay, I’ll be back as soon as I’m done with work.”

Lin Yi smiled and waved, watching his wife’s departing figure as he dodged a pair of middle-aged women who were walking by without a glance in his direction.

“Damn it, what’s a stinking man doing blocking the road? A few decades ago, I would’ve run you over.”

The middle-aged woman grumbled, treating Lin Yi as if he weren’t even human.

But Lin Yi was already used to it, his face devoid of expression.

That’s right, Lin Yi had transmigrated.
He had crossed over into this godforsaken world where women were superior and men were inferior.

And it wasn’t the traditional “older woman and younger man” dynamic, nor was it merely a suppression of status; it was practically a suppression at the species level.

In this world’s traditional society, a man’s status was akin to that of a pet or a toy, and physically, women were generally fifty percent stronger than men.

Only after entering the modern era did men gradually gain some standing, but they were still constrained by public opinion.
It was only in some large corporations and advanced, developed cities that men could achieve a generally more equal status.

The women in this society also seemed to be generally divided into traditionalists and reformists.

And after he had transmigrated, he had relied on his good looks to secure an identity, and from there, he had struggled to make his way.

Fortunately, the development of novels in this world was not as saturated as it had been back on Earth.
After a bumpy start, he managed to make a living by relying on his ability to write novels.

That was six months after he had arrived in this world, which was a year ago from the present.
After briefly dating an ex-girlfriend who was gentle on the surface but extremely dangerous in reality, he broke up with her.

In the six months that followed, he met his current fiancée, Zhuang Yayun.
She was considerate and gentle, hardly like a woman from this world at all, and perfectly fit his aesthetic standards.

And they were already engaged.
He was lucky enough, far better off than ninety-nine point nine-nine percent of the men in this world.

Lin Yi arrived at the editorial department building where he now worked and took the elevator to the conference room.

The novel publishing model in this world was similar to the light novels of his previous world’s Japan.
Today, as arranged by his editor, he was going to meet his illustrator.

Lin Yi knocked on the conference room door.

“Come in.”

Two tall women were sitting in the conference room.

Lin Yi pushed the door open and entered, saying apologetically, “Miss Yun Ling, sorry to have kept you waiting.”

“The appointed time has only just arrived.”

The editor, Yun Ling, smiled brightly.
Her features were elegant and pure, and she toyed with a strand of her hair with her pinky finger.

Sitting beside her was…

“Hello, I’m Shen Xixi. I’ll be in charge of the illustrations for your novel this time. It’s a pleasure to meet you~~ my adorable Teacher Lin Yi~~”

When Lin Yi saw that familiar, stunningly beautiful face, his brain crashed, and he froze on the spot.

The woman before him was all too familiar…

He knew her body by heart, to the point where he could even imagine the postures she used when sleeping or using the restroom.

Including the color of her basement!

It was his wanton, perverted, and dangerous—ex-girlfriend!

‘Why is this dangerous, wicked woman here again?’

‘I clearly got away from her.’

‘How could I run into her again?’

‘How is this possible?’

Shen Xixi tilted her head slightly, her lips curling into a small smile.
“Teacher Lin Yi?”

The corner of Lin Yi’s mouth twitched as he slowly extended his hand.

The moment their hands clasped, Shen Xixi’s smooth, soft hand caressed his palm, her mischievous little finger tracing small circles on the edge of his hand.

Lin Yi struggled to hide the ugly expression on his face, his gaze falling upon her face.

He saw her wink at him when Yun Ling wasn’t looking, her moist, red lips curving upward, her eyes glinting with a teasing and playful look that only Lin Yi could understand.

Yun Ling looked at the two of them.
‘Isn’t this handshake lasting a bit long?’

‘Especially Shen Xixi, why does she look like she’s an old acquaintance of Lin Yi’s?’

‘Should I say something to remind them?’

‘After all, our author here is the most handsome and adorable author in the company.’
‘Countless editors and authors adore him.’
‘Now that society is gradually becoming more open, even I can’t just take advantage of him so easily.’

As their hands separated, Shen Xixi slipped off her black high heels under the desk, revealing feet wrapped in black stockings that appeared even softer, rounder, and more aesthetically pleasing, giving off a sense of hazy allure.

Her foot, wrapped in black silk, brushed past the cuff of Lin Yi’s trousers, and then began to slowly… caress him.

Lin Yi’s brow furrowed sharply.

Shen Xixi lowered her head to sip her tea, her expression calm and gentle, as if she were not the one responsible for the movements under the table.

Shen Xixi touched her cheek, asking with an innocent look in her eyes, “Teacher Lin Yi, what’s wrong? You don’t look so well.”

“It’s nothing,” Lin Yi forced out.

This scene left Yun Ling utterly bewildered.
‘Could it be that the two of them really do know each other from before?’

Lin Yi turned his head straight.

‘Madwoman.’

‘Running into her again means nothing good will come of it!’

A year ago, this woman had suffocated him with her astonishing control and oppressiveness.

Things had gotten more and more perverse, more and more like playing with fire.

He didn’t even know how many times the color of the basement had changed.

Finally, he couldn’t take it anymore.
He tried every method he could think of to break up with her and leave her behind.

But he had never, ever expected to run into her again today.

‘We’ve already broken up.’
‘If she does this again, I can totally sue her for sexual harassment…’

‘I should be completely safe here; the people at the company will protect me.’

But…

Lin Yi was scared.

He was a little afraid of the methods this woman had used before.

To be precise, he was afraid that this woman still had those deranged videos from back then.

He was already engaged and had a beautiful future with his lovely fiancée, Zhuang Yayun.

If those videos were to really get out, he had no idea how he would face his lovely fiancée.
