Amid the unwilling roars echoing through the alley, the once-arrogant Hideo Saiki could only grit his teeth and glare at Su Buyu behind him, eyes burning with resentment.
But right now, he was more preoccupied with…
Why was he so fast!
Just moments ago, the thugs had swarmed, nearly blocking the entire alley.
Yet what happened?
In the blink of an eye, this guy slipped behind him, striking his most vulnerable spot!
His movements were so swift, his speed so agile, it pushed the limits of human reaction.
Too fast for the eye to catch, too quick for the mind to register.
Only when a chilling gaze hit the back of his neck did Hideo Saiki realize someone was behind him.
Not good!
The situation had truly been turned against him!
He couldn’t see through this guy’s depths.
Time to retreat!
“Go!”
Hideo Saiki waved his hand, signaling everyone to flee.
But would Su Buyu let them escape so easily?
“Hmph, trying to run?”
Cranking up the intensity, he kept firm control.
Instantly, Hideo Saiki felt the trembling assault his weakest point relentlessly.
The attack softened his spine, his limbs went limp, leaving him no strength to fight back.
“No… impossible!”
What’s happening? How could this be?
Why was his body reacting like this?
It shouldn’t have any reaction at all.
But why?
Why were the corners of his mouth curling up?
No… no way, Hideo Saiki!
You’re a man, into women, a proper guy!
How could you lose to this cheap trick? No way! You absolutely can’t!
My body! I order you not to give in!
But too bad.
His body didn’t listen.
How could mere mental resolve match the raw physical sensation?
No match, absolutely no match!
The thing in Su Buyu’s hand was so strong, so forceful, that Hideo Saiki’s full effort couldn’t overcome it.
Electric shocks coursed through his body, like a volcano’s neural surge, unstoppable, flooding his brain, as if engraving the experience into his very being.
Hideo Saiki’s body went limp, his hand loosened, no longer able to control himself.
The remote controlling the thugs slipped from his drooping arm.
“No… bad…!”
He tried to grab it back.
But another hand snatched the controller first.
Then, that hand gripped it tight, raising it high, glinting red in the golden dust of the noon sun, like a victorious war banner.
He, Su Buyu, now held the right to control the “battlefield”!
“Wait… don’t… give it back… ohhh~”
“Whatever you want… ugh… I’ll give it…”
Hideo Saiki tried to reclaim control.
But now, trembling, legs weak, he couldn’t even run, let alone grab the controller.
Su Buyu looked at Hideo Saiki’s pleading face, feeling no pity.
“Sorry, knowing your true nature, I’ve got no reason to give it back.”
In the original timeline, Hideo Saiki had just finished “bonding” with some girl in the classroom, then rushed here, pants half-up, to ambush Shizuku Sakurai.
Gotta admit, this jerk had patience.
Waiting for the thugs to humiliate Shizuku Sakurai before swooping in as the “nice guy” to “save” her.
Too bad, no matter how shiny the surface, a rotten core can’t be cleaned.
Pity for an enemy is cruelty to oneself.
Su Buyu had no reason to spare him.
Ignoring Hideo Saiki’s begging eyes, he ruthlessly maxed out the controller’s frequency.
“There’s a saying.”
“Uh… right!”
“Before you kill, be ready to be killed.”
“So… I think you’re already prepared for this, right?”
Su Buyu smirked, pressing the Hakimi’s end through the plastic bag, as if striking Hideo Saiki’s soul.
Hideo Saiki’s expression spiraled out of control—crying, laughing, his mind too chaotic to manage his face.
Such humiliation, such disgrace.
But why… why didn’t he feel any sadness now?
His trembling body and voice grew strange with the sensation.
“Oh NO! …Don’t… something’s coming, no, not in front of everyone… I can’t…”
His once-firm tone softened under the chaotic pleasure flooding his brain, his limbs powerless from the unfamiliar feeling.
The pleasure his body felt neared its limit, only his pride and shame holding Hideo Saiki together as he tried to stumble away from the man beside him.
Too dangerous… way too dangerous!
“I… I’ll be back! Don’t get cocky too soon, you jerk!”
Gotta hand it to Hideo Saiki, a true playboy—he could endure more than most.
His thug lackeys, on the other hand, were less impressive.
Su Buyu glanced over, seeing strewn bodies collapsed from excessive “joy,” twitching, their faces beaming with satisfied smiles, as if they’d ascended to heaven.
“Ohhh… Boss… this is too much!!!!”
“Sorry… I… ugh, it’s coming again…!”
Their cries had nothing to do with happiness, more like wails.
Pleasure overwhelmed their minds, too much for even the strongest to resist.
Shizuku Sakurai, watching, couldn’t help but marvel at Su Buyu’s ruthlessness.
“Wow~ You really live up to that fierce look, huh?”
“But nice job, crisis averted.”
“Heh, thanks, nameless gloomy guy!”
Her toes tapped the ground like a cat pouncing, pulling strawberry gum from her pocket and popping it in her mouth, chewing.
Sunlight from the alley’s entrance lit up the shadows.
Ignoring the bruises on her legs, Shizuku Sakurai gleefully stomped on beer cans, their clatter like a beat, hopping to Su Buyu’s side and casually slapping a hand on his shoulder.
But Su Buyu brushed her hand off, stating he had a name.
“Su Buyu, that’s my name, and I’m not that gloomy, am I?”
“Huh? Not gloomy? Look at that face, those eyes—like flames burning in an abyss, and your mouth’s always so flat. You’re pretty good-looking, though. A smile would make you even better.”
The pink gum bubble popped between her teeth.
She reached out, pinching his cheeks, tugging to force a smile.
Su Buyu thought to resist.
But under Shizuku Sakurai’s insistence, he reluctantly curved his lips into a faint smile.
Small as it was, she laughed, satisfied.
“Hm… that’s more like it! Hehe!”
Her voice carried a hint of pride, her pale yellow eyes peering straight through any pretense, locking onto the resolve in his gaze.
She couldn’t help but think… this guy’s kinda interesting.
“Had enough fun?”
“Yup~”
Su Buyu cut off the weird vibe, turning his gaze to the “pitiful” guy too weak to escape.
“…How… it was my plan… I got here first… how did you pull this off…”
“I’m not done… not done! Heaven’s unfair! I won’t let you off! I’ve got people at school! You can’t escape!”
Hideo Saiki kept ranting.
Su Buyu sighed, exasperated.
Did this guy really think he’d get another shot?
Probably not.
Because in the distance, red-and-blue lights flashed before the sound of a car arrived.
The police.
The car stopped, the door opened.
Su Buyu expected a cool lady cop in uniform.
But reality hit him hard.
Sure, the person wore a police uniform.
But it wasn’t a lady—it was a dude.
A buff Black guy with a classic West Coast accent!
“Hey! Yo! What’s up, man? What’s going on?”
A dark-skinned man with thick lips, sunglasses, and muscles leapt from the car, scanning the scene before striding toward Su Buyu.
“Hey! You! Can you tell me what happened?”
He grinned, flashing white teeth as he approached.
Honestly, if the alley weren’t so well-lit, Su Buyu would’ve thought only a uniform and teeth were walking toward him.
But cop or not, this guy could arrest Hideo Saiki and settle this.
“Uh, hi, let me explain what just—”
“Hey! Guy! What the f*ck you saying? My M1911’s itching to empty its clip!”
“Oh! Sorry! You know, that’s that mystic Eastern language, wasn’t on purpose, you know what I’m saying? I love rap, fried chicken, and watermelon!”
“Sh*t, man! We’re like brothers from another mother!”
The Black cop laughed heartily, moving his hand from the holster at his waist, extending it for a handshake.
Su Buyu reached out, but a weird feeling hit him.
Like his body was locked, then suddenly freed, he slowed his hand.
Even so, the gushing blood didn’t lessen one bit.
Splatter—
A sharp blade pierced his skin, tearing through veins, crimson spilling from his palm.
The blood and pain overwhelmed his unadjusted body, making his head spin, vision blurring, until darkness swarmed his sight with a thud.
An arrow?
Was he attacked?
But who would attack him?
Hideo Saiki?
No, he had no strength left, nor any dangerous weapons.
Then who?
His accomplices?
Or someone else?
His vision grew hazier.
Scarlet blood from his palm spread like wild thorns before his eyes.
Pain burned his nerves.
Yet he forced himself to stay conscious, looking back, using his last strength to point somewhere behind him.
“Over… there…”
The arrow came from an angle behind, so following its path, the attacker must be there.
As for why they attacked him…
Su Buyu couldn’t think anymore.
His consciousness sank, his ears filled with gunshots mixed with “F*CK” curses and urgent calls.
“Hey… Su… yu… wake up…”
“Wake up!”
