“Edis, they have come.” The girl stood on the balcony, her eyes tightly shut, her long eyelashes trembling slightly.

“I know, Xirui.” Edis sat elegantly on the sofa, the wine glass in his hand still filled with wine as red as fresh blood.

Edis swirled the red wine in his hand, slowly spilling it onto the carpet.
Then he forcefully pressed the empty wine glass onto the table and stood up.
“Just in time to test the third-generation anti-god Magi-Knight Armor that I spent decades improving.”

“So, go and kill it.”

“Kill them all.”

“Even if you didn’t say it, I would.” Xirui opened her azure eyes and gripped the window frame beside her with one hand.
“I live for this very reason.”

Kunta gripped her cane tightly, staring with Wendi at the “egg” that would hatch a 【Saint】.

The egg began to crack without warning, and a purple halo continuously seeped out from the fissures.

A pure white, four-legged dragon-type magical beast slowly crawled out of the egg and spread its purple, fleshy wings.
In that moment, it blotted out the sky and sun.

“Dragon-form Saint.” Kunta took a deep breath, gripping her cane even tighter.
The Dragon-form Saint, the one she least wanted to see, had hatched from the “egg.”

At the same time, countless purple, imp-like humanoid monsters poured out from the remains of the egg, uttering strange cries and brandishing their claws.

“Let’s ignore the Dragon-form Saint for now. We still need to eliminate these 【Parasites】.” Wendi raised the black staff that had appeared in her hand, and a profound white magic array spun at its tip.

“Hmph.” Kunta’s gaze sharpened, and she drew a rapier from her cane.
“Even if my current cultivation is not what it used to be, dealing with a few 【Parasites】 is more than enough.”

Hu Qingyu and Mianbao were now standing at the doorway, looking in astonishment at the gigantic Dragon-form Saint.
“What on earth happened?! Where did this dragon-type magical beast come from?”

“I don’t know.” Hu Qingyu’s expression was grim.
“But it’s definitely not a good thing. We need to get out of here quickly.”

“Wait,” Mianbao said, running into the room and opening a cabinet.
She took out a large, white, rectangular backpack, slinging it over one shoulder.
At the same time, a notebook fell out of the cabinet.

“Miss Mianbao, please hurry!” Hu Qingyu urged continuously from outside.
In her haste, Mianbao picked up the notebook without looking and ran out.

Before leaving, Mianbao took one last look at her deceased parents.
Then she turned and left with determination.
She wanted to cry, but she didn’t have time now.

“Let’s go!” Mianbao ran to Hu Qingyu’s side and ordered.

Before the two could run out of Lange Village, the numerous 【Parasites】 had already blocked their path forward.

“What… are these monsters…” Hu Qingyu and Mianbao took a step back, their faces grim as they faced the ferocious and terrifying humanoid monsters.

“Not sure.” Hu Qingyu directly drew “Frost Quench.” “No matter what, let’s fight our way out first. Miss Mianbao, you stay behind me. I will protect you!”

With the idea of striking first, Hu Qingyu moved his longsword and charged forward.

“Underestimating me.” While Hu Qingyu was keeping the 【Parasites】 busy, Mianbao took out the contents of the white backpack—a weapon that looked like it had been folded.

The Magi-Bullet Sniper Weapon, Sirius.

“Ha!” Hu Qingyu shouted, the “Frost Quench” in his hand weaving purple afterimages as it sliced through the ugly bodies of the 【Parasites】.

Hu Qingyu retreated a few steps.
Based on his limited experience, the strength of a 【Parasite】 was at least that of a level-four magical beast, and there were many of them.
It was difficult for him to handle them alone.

“Click.” Mianbao, expressionless, unfolded the white Sirius behind him and loaded a level-six Flame Burst Blast bullet, made by her deceased father, into its magazine.

At such a close distance, Mianbao didn’t even need to aim.

“Move, I’m not responsible if you get hurt.” Mianbao’s warning came from behind Hu Qingyu.
Although Hu Qingyu didn’t know what it meant, he obediently leaped back several times, leaving his original spot.

The next moment, accompanied by a deafening sound, the spot where Hu Qingyu had just been and the surrounding 【Parasites】 were instantly engulfed by a huge fireball.

“What is this!?” Hu Qingyu turned his head in disbelief, looking at the crouching Mianbao and the white weapon in her hand that he had never seen before.

A few 【Parasites】 were killed in the flames, and most of them were temporarily incapacitated.

Mianbao quickly folded Sirius and passed through the middle of the 【Parasites】.
“Stop looking, let’s go.”

As he ran, Hu Qingyu glanced at the incapacitated 【Parasites】 scattered all over the ground, developing a huge interest in the weapon Mianbao had used.

“Say, Miss Mianbao, what weapon were you using just now?” Hu Qingyu asked curiously.

“Run first. I’ll tell you when we’re safe,” Mianbao said.
“What is going on with all this?”

The Dragon-form 【Saint】 had yet to take any action.
It stood steadily, as if waiting for some command.

Kunta panted, supporting her body with her rapier.
A battle of this intensity had consumed a lot of her stamina, but now, only the corpses of 【Parasites】 remained around her and Wendi.

“What is it waiting for?” Kunta straightened up, looking in confusion at the 【Saint】 whose actions were completely different from what she remembered.

“I don’t know,” Wendi shook her head.

“Grandma Kunta!”

Kunta turned her head at the sound and saw Mianbao and Hu Qingyu running over from a distance.

“Old ladies, what on earth happened?” Hu Qingyu asked as soon as he stopped.

“And this is…” Hu Qingyu’s gaze shifted to Wendi.

“In any case, let’s leave this place quickly,” Kunta said, sheathing her rapier back into her cane.
“By the way, how is Lange Village? Did the villagers there leave?”

Hearing the words “Lange Village,” Mianbao’s eyes dimmed.

“Grandma Kunta, we should leave this place first,” Hu Qingyu urged everyone to leave this time, which also helped Mianbao out of her predicament.

“Alright, follow me,” Kunta nodded and left the place at a speed that didn’t match her age.

“Chirp—”

Just then, the long-waiting Dragon-form Saint let out a sharp cry.

Something flashed through Mianbao’s mind.
She slowly stopped her steps to look at the huge dragon-type magical beast.

“Is it… calling me?”
