Chapter 12: Fiora’s Brilliant Scheme to Save the World

Fiora lay sprawled across the bed, rolling around happily from the headboard to the foot, then pulling the blanket with her as she tumbled onto the floor.

“Wahahahaha! After all the suffering since I transmigrated, today I finally got spoiled by a beautiful woman!”

The silver-haired girl hugged the blanket and kicked her legs in excitement like a child.

After dinner, Alisa had prepared a guest room just for her.

“The Ten-Thousand-Year Snow Mountain is cold and boring.”
“Leon’s house has food, drinks, and a place to sleep.”
“I really don’t want to go back.”
“Maybe I should just live a life of lazing around here forever?”

Alisa was the perfect wife.

If she could win Alisa’s favor, behave herself in front of her, and max out her affection points, Fiora figured she wouldn’t have to worry about food and lodging for life.

The only fly in the ointment was Leon.

“That damn harem protagonist. No way I’m joining his harem,” she muttered, her mood souring at the thought.

“I’m not about to become some stock harem girl side character in a novel.”

But for now, there wasn’t much she could do.

How was she supposed to protect her purity when faced with a monster like Leon—someone with such dangerously high libido?

Fiora rolled onto her back, scheming.

Besides Leon, there was another problem: Leon’s sister, Vivian.

“Vivian’s super cute too, but she’s so hostile toward me…”

“Could it be she likes Leon, so she’s jealous of me?”

Fiora recalled the way Leon had described his sister and analyzed her behavior.

After a bit of deduction, she suddenly pounded her tiny fist into her palm.

“Wait a second… If Vivian likes Leon, maybe I can push her toward him! Then Leon won’t have time to bother me!”

Fiora’s eyes sparkled as she mentally drafted a corresponding plotline.

She grinned smugly, and with that brilliant scheme in mind, she slowly drifted off to sleep.

“Zzz…”

“Hey, little stray cat. Wake up.”

In her sleep, Fiora vaguely felt someone calling her.

“Zzz…”

“If you don’t wake up now, you’re gonna regret it.”

“Eek!!”

She jolted awake, as if someone had just dumped a bucket of ice water over her head.

The scene before her left her completely stunned.

It was like something straight out of a manga or a light novel.

Her hands were tied to the bed frame. She couldn’t move.

A blonde girl was straddling her, eyes dark and expression cold—her cute face eerily emotionless.

Fiora immediately understood what was happening.

Night raid.

“V-Vivian?!”

“Hehe. Good evening, little stray cat.”

Vivian didn’t even try to fake a smile. Her deadpan tone sent a chill down Fiora’s spine.

“V-Vivian, calm down. What are you trying to do?”

“What do you think?” Vivian replied coldly. “I’m getting rid of any bugs that might hurt my brother.”

“Am… am I the bug? Vivian, you’ve totally misunderstood me!”

Fiora had once fantasized about being surrounded by all kinds of beautiful girls, fighting over her.
If a yandere girl ambushed her in the night, she’d at least get a kick out of it, right?

But this wasn’t fun at all.

She wasn’t being treated like a protagonist—she was being treated like a threat.

Even though Vivian was a gorgeous girl and had her pinned down, there was no trace of sweetness in this encounter.

The user experience was terrible!

“Misunderstood you?” Vivian asked, voice icy. “What exactly did I misunderstand?”

“My brother’s never acted like this before. He’s never been interested in any girl—until you showed up.”

Vivian’s eyes welled up with tears.

“I’ve loved my brother since I was little. He’s always taken care of me.
I just wanted things to stay like that forever.”

“After all, he’s never shown interest in women before.”

“He was supposed to always be my brother. He was supposed to stay by my side.”

“But then—you showed up.”

“You’re the one who changed him.”

Fiora swallowed nervously.

So that’s what this is about…

Vivian wiped her tears away and flashed a chilling smile.

“So, I came up with a great idea.”

“If I secretly get rid of the thieving little stray cat, my brother will come back to me!”

Fiora felt incredibly wronged.

She didn’t even want anything to happen with Leon! There was no need for this kind of conflict at all!

But looking at Vivian’s expression, she realized—the girl was serious.

Fiora briefly considered using her Dragon King’s Breath, but she still hadn’t mastered it.
If she accidentally killed Vivian, Alisa would probably hate her forever.

Don’t use force. Use words.

Persuade the yandere with logic!

“Vivian, you’ve really misunderstood me.”
“I swear, even if I had to jump off the roof and die, I would never get with Leon—”

“Shut up!” Vivian snapped. “Don’t try to brush me off with words! I saw a guy say that once in a manga, and by the next chapter, he was fighting over fried rice with his companion!”

Vivian pulled something out.

A small dagger, tiny in her delicate hand.

The moment Fiora saw it, she broke out in a cold sweat.

She was actually being threatened by a yandere girl.

“Maybe I should just take your first time right now,” Vivian whispered. “That way, my brother won’t have the chance to fall for you.”

Vivian leaned in closer, her soft pajamas brushing against Fiora’s body.

Her untied twin-tails cascaded down her shoulders like golden waterfalls.

She leaned down, pressing against Fiora’s body, and caressed Fiora’s cheek with her fair hand, saying in a suggestive tone, “It won’t hurt, don’t worry.”

Emergency! Emergency! Emergency! Emergency! Emergency!

An alarm blared in Fiora’s head.

She was in serious danger.

But she forced herself to stay calm.

Even though every instinct screamed at her to run, she kept her cool.

Fiora slowly averted her gaze, steering clear of direct eye contact, and carefully pulled out the scheme she’d planned earlier.

“I-I get it, Vivian. I promise—I won’t make a move on Leon from now on.”

“In fact, I’ll fully support your love for him!”

“…Love?”

“Yeah! I mean, what you’re feeling—it’s not just ordinary sibling affection, right?
It’s… it’s romantic love, right?”

Vivian froze.

Her face flushed.

She immediately stopped her assault, as if Fiora had landed a direct hit on her heart.

Fiora seized the opportunity and pressed her advantage.

She kept her tone gentle but laced it with just enough logic to stay convincing.

“Forbidden love… the more you try to suppress it, the more it explodes later on, right? In the end, you won’t be able to stop it.”

Vivian hesitated, her heart pounding like crazy.

“Fiora… if what I feel for my brother really is romantic love, wouldn’t you find that disgusting?”

“Not at all! Let’s work together, Vivian!”

“To be honest, I’m really sick of Leon chasing me around, too.”

“Oh, I’m not trying to brag or anything—I just mean, if you and he get together, it solves all my problems!”

“Our interests are perfectly aligned!”

Vivian mulled it over.

She looked at Fiora, then placed a hand over her own wildly beating heart.

After a moment, she nodded.

Success!

Fiora finally let out a huge sigh of relief.

Her tense body collapsed back onto the bed like a deflated balloon.

“Don’t tell my brother about this.”

“Of course not. Vivian, this is our secret!” Fiora replied firmly, leaving no room for doubt.

Perfect! This totally solves the problem!

Hehehe… Once the all-wise Ice Dragon King sets Vivian and Leon up, I’ll be free to live a peaceful, lazy life as a shut-in!

Fiora grinned under the covers, smugly basking in her brilliant plan.
