Chapter 14: I Want You as My Wife—Why Are You Trying to Be My Brother-in-Law?!

Leon returned to the second floor.
It was already late into the night, and the hallway lights had gone out.

Since it was well past bedtime, Leon figured that Vivian and Fiora had long since gone to sleep.
He deliberately lightened his footsteps, not wanting to disturb anyone.

But just as he was about to pass by Fiora’s room, a faint sound reached his ears.

A girl’s soft crying.

Could it be Fiora?

Leon noticed that her door was slightly ajar.
Curious—and concerned—he quietly approached and peeked through the gap.

What he saw was far beyond anything he could have imagined.

The room was dark.
No lights were on.

Even with his night vision skill, all Leon could make out was a blonde girl in pajamas straddling a silver-haired one.

One of them had an amazing figure.

The other was… a washboard.

Who else could it be but Vivian and Fiora?

Wait, why is Vivian in Fiora’s room at night?
They just met today!

Leon instinctively held his breath, slowing his heartbeat.

As a swordsman trained in the art of a serene and still mind, he could suppress his body’s reactions even under extreme external stimuli.
But this…

This was pushing his limits.

Vivian was straddling Fiora, wiping away her tears, clearly overwhelmed with emotion.

Leon had no idea how the situation got to this point.

Carefully, he inched a little closer, hoping to gather more information.

But since Vivian was a skilled swordswoman too, Leon didn’t dare get too close.
He stopped at what he thought was a safe distance and listened, picking up fragments of their conversation.

That’s fine, he told himself.
Even with just a few words, I can piece together what’s happening. And besides… I don’t want them to notice me.

“Shut up—stop brushing me off—”

Vivian’s voice cut through the silence, silencing whatever Fiora had just said.

Leon tensed.

Were they fighting?

But the next thing he heard left him utterly dumbfounded.

“I’m going to take your first time—”

Vivian whispered it directly into Fiora’s ear, her tone soft and sultry.

She leaned down like a lover and gently caressed Fiora’s face.

WHAT THE HELL!!!

What the hell is my sister doing to Fiora?!

If not for his trained heart, Leon would’ve already kicked the door open by now.

He knew relationships between girls were possible.
There were plenty of adult books about forbidden yuri love.

And right now, this scene before him looked exactly like one of those yuri manga:

Vivian making a nighttime confession, forcing herself onto Fiora after getting rejected—an aggressive yuri attack.

No no no! This can’t be happening!

Leon clutched his hair, trying to reject the image burning into his mind.

They only met today!

There’s no way feelings could develop that fast!

He forced himself to calm down.

Have faith in Vivian. She’s my sister. There’s no way… right?

And even if, hypothetically, something like that did happen… there’s no way Fiora would accept a confession from someone she just met.

“I understand, Vivian—I promise—you—a relationship!”

FIORA, WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?!

Leon screamed internally.

From the tone of her voice, Fiora sounded elated.
Like a traveler in the dark suddenly grasping at the first light of dawn.

Her reply was full of passion and excitement.

Leon’s eyes went bloodshot.

He never thought his worst nightmare would come true so soon.

Before he could even win over Fiora’s heart—

The girl he loved had been taken away.

By the person he loved the most—his own little sister.

What kind of absurd plot twist is this?!

And yet, somewhere deep inside, Leon still clung to a sliver of hope.

He refused to believe what he was seeing.

“I know—what you feel—is not just ordinary—affection…”

Fiora’s words were met with Vivian’s shy response.
Even in the dark, Leon could sense her heartbeat racing.

His own heartbeat, however, slowed to a crawl.

His eyes dimmed, losing their light.

Haha… So it’s true…

Fiora really likes Vivian.

She even confessed.

And Vivian… Vivian was responding the same way Leon had back then.

He’d never seen his sister act like this before—so bashful, so flushed.

There was only one conclusion:

She’s in love.

Just like him.

So this is what it means to be siblings… we even have the same taste.

My dear sister… your brother can’t even be happy for you.

Because the person you fell for is Fiora.

“—This is a forbidden love—”

Fiora whispered the very words Leon feared most.

Forbidden love.

That could only mean a relationship between her and Vivian.

A love the world wouldn’t accept—what else could it mean?

His sister was into girls.

And she had fallen for one she just met.

So much so that she’d gone for a nighttime confession.

Come to think of it…

Vivian did give Fiora that flirty “little wildcat” nickname the first time they met.

She must’ve fallen in love at first sight.

And the most critical part of all—

Fiora accepted.

Vivian, overwhelmed by this intense passion, had turned into a lovestruck maiden.

A maiden madly in love.

Thinking back to how cold Fiora had treated him…

Compared to how warmly she treated Vivian…

Leon finally understood.

He had been rejected.

The girl he secretly loved—had chosen his sister.

“But, but maybe…
Even if there’s a one-in-ten-thousand chance…
Maybe I’m just… misunderstanding?”

It sounded like he was trying to console himself.

Leon whispered it so faintly, it was almost inaudible.

But still, he decided to gamble.

Even if it meant getting caught—

He had to get closer.

He had to hear it clearly.

“Don’t tell my brother about this, okay?”

“Of course, Vivian.
This is our little secret.”

Leon heard it.

The one thing he feared most.

Clear as day.

Vivian and Fiora’s promise—
A yuri pact.

At that moment, it felt like he was a defendant who had appealed all the way to the Supreme Court…

Only to be sentenced to death.

Leon wouldn’t remember how he stumbled away from the door.

Or how he got back to his room.

“I got…
I got NTR’d by my own sister…?”

No matter how undeniable the facts were, it was too absurd for him to accept.

So he dove under the covers, forcing himself to sleep.

“This must be a hallucination.
Maybe I’m just exhausted…
Maybe this is just a dream!
There’s no way Fiora and Vivian could fall in love that fast!
Tomorrow—
When I wake up—I’m going to get to the bottom of this!”

In his heart, Leon still clung to that last, stubborn shred of hope.
