The warm spring water was so comfortable that all the pores on Mianbao’s body relaxed, and a delicate moan, both alluring and enchanting, escaped her lips unconsciously.

“So comfortable—” Mianbao closed her eyes, looking blissful.
She peeked open one eye, glancing out of the corner at Hu Qingyu, whom she had sent to keep watch in the distance, and said, “You better not come over and peek, okay?”

Having lived as a female for some time, Mianbao was now more conscious of being a woman than she was at the beginning, but only when she deliberately thought about it.

“Oh? Judging by that tone, Miss Mianbao seems to be looking forward to being peeked at.” Mr. Fox, with his back to Mianbao in the distance, revealed a strange smile that was hard to comprehend.
“Since that’s the case, I’ll get ready and reluctantly peek at you, Miss Mianbao.”

“Go to hell!” Mianbao said with a strange flush on her face, looking very annoyed.
If she weren’t soaking in the hot spring, Mianbao would definitely have used “Sirius” as a blunt weapon to smash this stinky fox’s head.
What did he mean, she wanted to be peeked at?

“Besides, if you say it so openly and let me know, it’s not peeking anymore, is it!?” Mianbao cupped a handful of spring water and splashed it on her rounded shoulders, then complained.

“Don’t worry!” Hu Qingyu twirled a lock of his hair that fell by his temple with his fingertips.
“I’ll pick a good time, when heaven, earth, and man are all in harmony, to start peeking. I definitely won’t let you know I’m peeking, Miss Mianbao!”

“You dare!!!” Mianbao’s roar sent ripples across the water’s surface.

Mr. Fox was a man of integrity and would never do such a sneaky thing.
Besides, he hadn’t put any points into his peeking skill, so wanting to peek was purely to tease Miss Mianbao.

“Say, that 【Labyrinthine City’s Holy Maiden】 is really strong,” Mianbao said, leaning against the rock barrier that encircled the hot spring.

“Mm.” Hu Qingyu, also enjoying himself by lying on the grass, grunted noncommittally.

“Such a strong 【Dragon-form Saint】 was easily defeated by her.” Mianbao gathered her hair, which was scattered casually on the water’s surface, and stared at it in her palm.

“I wonder what this so-called 【Labyrinthine City’s Holy Maiden】 looks like.” Mianbao was actually more concerned about the Holy Maiden’s appearance.
After all, she was a Holy Maiden, so she must be very beautiful, right?

“I don’t know,” Hu Qingyu said.
“But I don’t think she’s as beautiful as you, Miss Mianbao.”

When Hu Qingyu praised Mianbao like that, a little flutter of joy rose in her heart.
“Not beautiful, you should say I’m handsome, understand?”

“Alright, alright.” Hu Qingyu said “alright” three times, the smile on his lips seeming both happy and helpless.
“But it’s also very surprising that Miss Mianbao has such a powerful weapon as ‘Sirius’.”

Hearing Hu Qingyu say that “Sirius” was a very powerful weapon, Mianbao was clearly stunned.
“Is Sirius… very powerful?”

‘What, so this little girl doesn’t even know the origin of the weapon she’s using?’ Hu Qingyu had only heard this from Kunta, but now he still pretended to be very knowledgeable and said to Mianbao, “This is one of the strongest thermal weapons on your continent. It can be loaded with a magic-engraved bullet called 【Heaven】.”

“【Heaven】?” Mianbao had heard her father talk about this magic-engraved bullet before.
S-rank magic-engraved bullet 【Heaven】.
The bullet was made of an extreme metal, and the complexity of the array on its base was comparable to counting the number of stars in the night sky with the naked eye.

And because the power of 【Heaven】 was too great, many ordinary firearms couldn’t withstand it.
Only those high-grade ones had the ability to load this magic-engraved bullet.
Hu Qingyu meant that “Sirius” belonged to the category of high-grade goods.

“I didn’t expect Dad to give me such a powerful thing—” At the mention of her dad, Mianbao fell silent.
The coldness in her heart revealed itself, and the once-warm spring water now felt bone-chillingly cold.

Sensing that different kind of loneliness, Hu Qingyu shook his head, playing with the necklace he had given Mianbao, which she had now entrusted to him for safekeeping.
He didn’t plan to do anything.
Mianbao now had to properly resolve the pain in her heart.

Her parents were killed, and she herself slaughtered the entire village.
This kind of pain was not something that could be diminished in a short time.

Suddenly, a small brown figure darted out from the dense forest beside him.
Taking advantage of Hu Qingyu’s inattention, it snatched the necklace from his hand in the blink of an eye and quickly ran behind him.

Without thinking, Hu Qingyu did a carp flip to get up and chased after it.
Fortunately, his lightness skill was excellent, and after a few leaps, he caught up with the figure.

It seemed very similar to the squirrels he had seen before.

“Hey! Hu Qingyu, what are you doing!” Just as Hu Qingyu was reaching out to grab the squirrel thief that was within his grasp, he didn’t expect that he had already run above where Mianbao was soaking in the hot spring.

Being questioned by Mianbao like that, Hu Qingyu’s strength failed him, and under Mianbao’s astonished gaze, he fell into the small hot spring pool where Mianbao was.

When he came to his senses, Hu Qingyu found himself in the water, his entire body pressed tightly against Mianbao’s.
That alone would have been fine, but the problem was that Mianbao was completely naked right now!

Hu Qingyu could clearly feel the unique softness of the girl’s body and her smooth, top-quality skin.
And his hand, which had been reaching out to catch the thief in the name of justice, had now become a hand of sin, wickedly touching the not-so-magnificent white rabbit on Mianbao’s chest.

Seeing this, Mr. Fox raised his head and locked eyes with the completely stunned Miss Mianbao for a few seconds.
Then he simply threw caution to the wind, mercilessly squeezing Miss Mianbao’s breast before quickly getting up and retreating, even saying, “Feels nice.”

That behavior, like a common rogue, was completely different from the pure virgin who

got a nosebleed just from seeing Mianbao’s clothes!

The strange sensation on her chest shot through Mianbao’s body like an electric current, finally bringing her back to her senses.
Mianbao looked at Hu Qingyu, who had already retreated a good distance, but she didn’t fly into a rage.
Because she had once been a man, and although she now had some female consciousness, it wasn’t complete.
So this incident left her not knowing how to react.

After a long while, Mianbao finally roared, “Hu! Qing! Yu!” With such a roar, a large, heavy white bag slammed into Hu Qingyu’s face with a loud thud.
