Chapter 24: Mamba’s Sweat Splashes Face in Absurdity, Human as Dog Shocks Silent Heart

Huh?

No way? She’s doing it? Right here?

Seriously?

No joke?

Su Buyu’s eyes widened, staring at the pale, toned legs, unable to believe he’d be stuck here for the next few minutes!

What now?

Was he forced to watch this miner’s performance? (TN: for censoring reasons, you know what miner means)

No way! Why did this insane thing have to happen to him?

He wanted to run, to bolt.

But she’d already started dribbling, charging toward the court with abandon!

Kids, you know Kobe?

Her nimble hand controlled the ball with precision, her agile form weaving, circling, attacking with sharp, clean moves that left Su Buyu in awe.

Panting from the intense exercise, sweat beaded on her palm.

Tired.

In just moments, her body neared its limit from the high-intensity cardio.

But no matter!

She hadn’t given up and wouldn’t.

Until the goal was reached, the ball wasn’t in the hoop, she wouldn’t stop!

So charge!

Charge, girl!

Break through the barriers, smash aside every wrinkle and obstruction in her path!

Then, leap high! Straight to the hoop!

The ball went in!

“Mm! Ha…”

Her victory!

She slumped onto the chair, fist clenched, basking in the sunlight streaming through the window, declaring her triumph.

Su Buyu froze.

He could’ve closed his eyes, refused to watch this game!

But that wouldn’t do.

He needed her identity, had to spot key markers in her actions.

But sadly, beyond the initial color, he couldn’t recall anything else.

He wanted to scream, to shout, to protest.

But he couldn’t.

The memory of what just happened seared into his brain like a red-hot iron.

He’d never forget this moment.

To uncover the Lustful Defiled God’s secrets, he hid under Renyu Saiki’s desk, only to get splashed in the face with her “sweat”—an absurd day.

He might call it Suffering Day…

Thankfully, the girl wiped herself with tissue and left.

Su Buyu stayed put for a minute, ensuring she wouldn’t return, then crawled out, frantically wiping his face with desk tissues before leaning out the window, gulping fresh air.

Clean, free—that’s what he wanted.

Not the salty sweat of athletic joy!

After calming down, he tossed the pen cap and teleported out of the classroom.

During break, Su Buyu studied the note’s handwriting, racking his brain for plot-related characters.

But after ages, no connections came.

The game’s original plot gave little on handwriting.

He had to admit, his presence had altered this world. Established events were shifting subtly due to fate’s divergence.

He couldn’t deduce outcomes like when he played the game with heaps of data.

“Tch… headache.”

A breeze brushed his hair. He exhaled, clearing his mind to ease the morning’s exhaustion.

That morning was too intense. Even now, recalling it, he couldn’t shake the ocean’s scent.

Sigh, the sea’s taste.

Sigh, the seafood aroma.

So unforgettable, it made him grimace, leaning back, mouth open, lamenting.

“Next time, I’ll listen for footsteps.”

As he spoke, a chocolate landed in his throat, nearly choking him.

Confused, he looked up at the pale fingers, chewed the chocolate, and asked.

“What’s up, Shizuku Sis? Why the sudden feeding?”

“Shizuku Sis? Where’d you get that name?”

“Think back to who called me Non-Speaking Bro yesterday.”

“Then you should call me Shizuku Bro.”

She crossed her legs, pouting, sitting across from him, eyeing his furrowed brow, curious.

“What’s wrong? Something bothering you?”

“Nah… well, yeah.”

He almost hid it.

But since they were bros, hiding wasn’t right.

So he told her about the note and the Fiji bottle.

Shizuku Sakurai tilted her head, thought briefly, then lit up.

“Hey! I know someone who might help, but they’ll need your Fiji bottle.”

“What? The note I get, but why the bottle?”

He was about to complain when the classroom door was kicked open.

Bang

“Alright, kids! Today’s Release Check Day! Have you all been enjoying yourselves?”

“If not… you’ll face punishment~”

A bold voice, paired with sneakers screeching on marble, flooded the room.

She strode in, her half-length sailor uniform barely covering her ample chest, her transparent skirt revealing everything in the sunlight.

A triangular badge on her shoulder made Shizuku Sakurai recognize her.

An elite above non-members in this school.

“Pleasure Society?”

Shizuku Sakurai tilted her head, asking.

The girl was surprised a big shot like Shizuku would acknowledge her.

“Violent Vixen, didn’t expect you here.”

“Violent Vixen?”

“That’s you?” Su Buyu glanced at Shizuku, stifling a laugh.

In the original plot, Shizuku Sakurai had odd nicknames, but Violent Vixen was new.

Why was the “Student Council” here now?

Wasn’t it supposed to appear in Chapter 3? Why so early?

He glanced at the girl, then noticed a low figure “walking” in.

No… not walking.

Crawling!

He lowered his gaze.

A person in a black rubber hood, face obscured, only a red tongue sticking out from the bottom.

Their limbs were bound, encased in black sleeves, moving like a dog, coordinated steps inching forward.

A tail swayed on their spine—no, not a spine.

It extended from there!

And it wasn’t a tail—it was a string of plastic beads, like candied hawthorn!

Su Buyu couldn’t tell if they were male or female.

But he knew this “thing” was human.

Why would a person…

His brows furrowed, lips downturned, expression grim.

The Pleasure Society member, seeing his confusion, was puzzled.

“This is our carefully trained puppy! Pretty obedient, huh?”

“…Puppy?”

He stared at her, then the “dog,” a flicker of shock in his calm eyes.

No… no way.

Humans aren’t dogs, and dogs shouldn’t be… humans, right?

He froze, watching the “dog” inch closer, panting, tongue steaming.

“Oh, time for the check!”

“Check?”

“Yup! Checking who hasn’t released in the last five days. Our puppy can sniff out who’s been holding back!”

She crouched, cheerfully petting the “dog’s” chin, teasing its nose like it was a real pet.

Such an intimate, tender scene, yet no one in the room found it odd.

Except Su Buyu and Shizuku Sakurai.

He watched, expressionless, eyes twitching, a thousand words stuck in his throat.

But to Shizuku Sakurai…

She saw his eyes, nearly blazing with fire.

Like molten lava erupting from an abyss, hotter than when she first met him.

Angrier.

She didn’t understand.

But another unfamiliar thought climbed in her mind.

Why was he so furious?

Why did he react so strongly to this?

It was such a “normal” scene.

Was he the problem?

Or…

Was this world’s mindset itself wrong?

Staring at the scene, her thoughts surged like a relentless river, crashing toward the dam of her confined beliefs.
