X
Feeling the pressure from Olivianne, Cassius clenched his fists, but didn’t dare lash out. After all, he still had the upper
hand right now—if he suddenly lost his temper, it would only make him look guilty.
So instead, he quickly shifted the blame back onto Gawain and shouted harshly:
“Gawain, stop trying to talk your way out of this! The evidence came out of your bag! What ‘alibi’? Who can
prove it for you?! Don’t try to use ‘being framed’ as your excuse! Everyone already knows what kind of
disgusting person you really are!”
“Yeah, seriously…”
Sensing that the tide of opinion might be shifting, the girl who had been sticking close to Cassius—Meimelou, with her
long black hair—finally couldn’t hold back anymore. She gave Gawain a scornful glance, waved her hand in disgust, and
pinched her nose mockingly:
“Tch, Gawain, stop pretending already. Even when we were dating, I noticed how obsessed you were with
women’s underwear. I still remember—one time after I got out of the bath, I caught you at the door sniffing
the clothes I just took off~ Back then, I thought we were in a relationship, so I didn’t make a fuss. I never
imagined you’d end up doing something this perverted.”
The moment she said that, all the other students started looking at Gawain differently again. After all… this was his ex-
girlfriend saying it herself. It sounded pretty believable.
But Olivianne’s eyelids twitched when she looked at Meimelou.
Bullshit.
I’ve played through the entire game storyline multiple times, and there was never a scene like that!
Meanwhile, Gawain’s face darkened even more. He held his breath for a long time, then finally burst out, trembling with
anger, and shouted at his former childhood friend:
“Meimelou, why are you making up stories just to help Cassius?! I never did anything like that!!”
“Gawain, stop blaming everything on other people! If you weren’t so gross, Meimelou wouldn’t have broken up
with you! You say you’re being framed? Fine—do you have any proof of who did it?!”
Cassius grinned smugly. Just as he expected—getting this guy’s girl involved really was the killer move. Nothing breaks a
man down like emotional humiliation.
However… what Cassius didn’t expect was that this time, the always-passive Gawain actually snapped.
He clenched his fists, and shouted at Cassius with everything he had, like he was tearing it from his soul:
“I don’t know who’s framing me, but the only person here who’s ever had a grudge against me—is you!!”
The moment Gawain roared those words, the whole scene fell into an awkward deadlock. A strange silence filled the air,
broken only by scattered whispers from the onlookers.
“Eh? So… who actually did steal it?”
“It’s gotta be Gawain. I mean, Meimelou even said all that stuff.”
“But she cheated on him, didn’t she? What if she’s lying? Honestly, Gawain actually looks more wronged right
now.”
“Whatever. Someone needs to bring out actual proof. Everyone just talking won’t solve anything.”
Olivianne observed everything calmly. From the way things were going, Gawain and Cassius were about two seconds from
throwing punches. But that was fine. Honestly, if a fight really broke out, that might even be better. After all, being chased
endlessly by a wild dog is annoying—if they’re finally fighting back, at least it’s something.
But still… this wasn’t enough to flip the situation. She’d only managed to stop the momentum from completely
overwhelming Gawain. So the question was—
How to finish the counterattack?
The blue-haired girl blinked and tried to recall all the key info from the game’s story. Her gaze swept across the crowd of
students.
Proof… I need proof…
Suddenly, her eyes lit up. She locked onto a middle-aged man in a gray cloak standing among the crowd. The moment
their eyes met, a chill ran down the man’s spine. And sure enough, within seconds, Olivianne walked right past Gawain
and Cassius and strode straight up to him, grabbing him by the hand.
“Professor Raven, watching the drama unfold too, are we?”
“ Me? No, no, I was just… passing by! Yeah, just passing through! I’ll be on my way now!!”
This man, Professor Raven, was Olivianne’s Potions instructor. He was in his thirties, still unmarried, and known for
brewing potions with exceptionally high purity. He was also a regular target of bullying from the troublemakers on
campus. As such, even though he didn’t know Olivianne very well, he was terrified of this delinquent loli.
He had only stopped to watch the scene for a moment, and now he’d been caught.
Raven trembled in fear and tried to leave, but Olivianne held onto his sleeve tightly. She frowned and said coldly:
“No need to rush, Professor Raven. Since you’ve already been watching this long, what’s a few more minutes?”
Professor Raven took in a sharp breath. Was this… illegal?! Just watching a student dispute and getting caught—was that
a crime?! Why won’t she let me go? Sob sob sob…
Well, truthfully, Olivianne wasn’t doing this to mess with him. She wasn’t particularly interested in this barely-relevant
NPC professor. No, what she wanted—was something he had on him.
“Professor Raven, you’ve brought Tracking Potion with you today, right? I need it. Lend me a bottle!”
“Huh? Tracking Potion?”
Professor Raven was completely stunned. How did this girl even know he had something like that? He hadn’t taught it in
class yet…
(Well… of course she knew—because in her previous life, in the game, she had bought that very potion from him as an
item for catching cheaters…)
Under her urging glare, and still completely confused, Raven reached into his coat and pulled out a vial glowing with a
faint purple light. Olivianne snatched the potion right away, then waved her hand cheerfully:
“Alrighty! You can go now.”
“O-oh… okay…”
Raven gave her an awkward nod, turned around, then hesitated to look back.
Why do I feel like I just got completely played?
Back at the center of the conflict, Olivianne strutted confidently toward Gawain and Cassius, swinging the purple-glowing
bottle in her hand. The two boys were stunned by her sudden action and had no idea what she was up to.
But Olivianne already had a plan.
She raised the potion and explained with a playful smirk:
“This potion is called Tracking Potion. Its effect is to trace missing items. It’s super easy to use—just soak
Natasha’s panties in it to lock on the target, then drip a few drops onto everyone’s hands. If someone’s touched
the panties before, their hands will start to glow!”
“Since you two are bickering so much, how about we let hard evidence decide who the real culprit is, hmm~?”
