Chapter 35: You’re Dead, Perverted Foot Fetishist!

After lunch, Arisugawa Yuu resumed his training in the Miyamizu Shrine secret realm.

His main focus was the Divine Weapon Spell and the Wind-Riding Spell.

The Wind-Riding Spell was a movement-type technique, a fundamental skill that could be applied in various situations, so it was essential to practice it well.

As for the Divine Weapon Spell, besides being fun, there was a more important reason to practice it—the divine sword, Moon-Embracing, was simply too powerful for the current Arisugawa Yuu to handle. He needed to find a substitute.

But cultivators were as rare as phoenix feathers and unicorn horns, and artifacts were even harder to come by. Finding a substitute would not be an easy task.

Moreover, a divine artifact was a trump card, not something to be shown off lightly. It was better to keep it hidden and use it to ambush opponents.

Even though he was a newcomer to the world of cultivation, Arisugawa Yuu understood the principle of pretending to be a pig to eat the tiger.

Miyamizu Rin had given him the Moon-Embracing sword with the intention of giving him a life-saving trump card.

After all, she couldn’t be by his side at all times. The stronger he was, the more at ease she would be.

One of the reasons Miyamizu Rin constantly pushed him to train hard was so he could master the Moon-Embracing sword sooner and have a life-saving trump card.

As long as he could properly wield the power of the Moon-Embracing sword, he might not be invincible, but it would be enough to save his life.

Of course, that was in general situations.

If he was unlucky enough to encounter something extremely dangerous, saving his life would be difficult.

In short, the stronger Arisugawa Yuu was, the better. In case of an accident, even if he couldn’t defeat the opponent, he had to at least be able to hold them off until Miyamizu Rin arrived.

He couldn’t use the Moon-Embracing sword, and he couldn’t find a substitute artifact for the time being. After weighing his options, he decided that the Divine Weapon Spell was the most suitable for him.

“Ride the wind in the void, with the momentum of rushing thunder.”

Using the Wind-Riding Spell, Arisugawa Yuu first flew up to the lintel of the tall, vermilion torii gate and sat for a while. Then, he flew to the wooden corridor connecting the wooden houses built along the river.

At this moment, Miyamizu Rin was sitting on the corridor, enjoying the river breeze. She had extended her long, snow-white legs through the gap in the corridor and was soaking her delicate, jade-like feet in the river water, as if sensing the temperature of the early spring river water.

Arisugawa Yuu observed and found that the floor of the corridor was exceptionally clean, probably because Miyamizu Rin had used a cleaning spell or something similar.

Noticing his arrival, Miyamizu Rin turned her gaze to him and asked, “How’s your Wind-Riding Spell training going?”

“It’s okay, I guess. At least I won’t be in a situation where I have to ask you for help again.”

Arisugawa Yuu replied.

“Mm.” Miyamizu Rin nodded with satisfaction and instructed, “Don’t use the Wind-Riding Spell lightly when you’re outside, or you might be targeted. Also, maintaining the Wind-Riding Spell consumes a lot of spiritual power, which should be a considerable burden for you. So, unless it’s a special situation, don’t use it, understand?”

“Understood.” Arisugawa Yuu nodded. “No wonder I feel a bit weak after using the Wind-Riding Spell for a long time. It turns out my spiritual power is depleted.”

“Hmph.” Miyamizu Rin snorted lightly and continued, “If you want to last longer, then train hard. Don’t spend all day thinking about improper things.”

“Last longer…”

Arisugawa Yuu repeated in a low voice.

Why did that sound so strange coming from Miyamizu Rin’s mouth?

“Hmm?”

Hearing Arisugawa Yuu’s words, Miyamizu Rin’s exquisite and beautiful face was full of confusion.

After a while, she finally realized.

“Pervert, disgusting, lecher.”

Miyamizu Rin cursed, her face red.

Arisugawa Yuu looked innocent, “Senpai, I haven’t said anything yet?”

“Isn’t that what you meant?”

Miyamizu Rin glared at Arisugawa Yuu with extreme disgust.

Arisugawa Yuu sat down next to Miyamizu Rin and said, “I say, senpai, why do you blush so easily? Do you have to be so pure?”

“Do you think everyone is like you, with their mind full of improper thoughts?”

“Hey, hey, hey, senpai, even I don’t think about that kind of thing all the time. Can you not always use ‘mind full of improper thoughts’ to describe me?”

“Alright.” Miyamizu Rin brushed back her ice-blue hair, which was blown by the river wind, and said, “Then let’s change it to, ‘mind filled with girls’ thighs and chests’.”

“No.” Arisugawa Yuu protested, “Senpai, is there any difference between those two descriptions?”

Miyamizu Rin glanced at Arisugawa Yuu with her clear eyes, “What, you have a problem with that?”

Arisugawa Yuu’s lips twitched, “No, please, do as you wish.”

Miyamizu Rin held back her laughter and began to lecture Arisugawa Yuu again, “If you don’t want to be bullied, then train hard and make yourself strong.”

“Senpai, were you bullying me just now? Were you bullying the weak?”

Miyamizu Rin smiled slightly, not denying it, but simply said, “What, you have a problem with that?”

“No, as long as you’re happy.”

From that moment on, Arisugawa Yuu felt he had one more motivation to train—that was, one day, he would become stronger than Miyamizu Rin, and then pin her down on the bed and spank her, letting her know the harsh realities of society.

Of course, Arisugawa Yuu didn’t dare to tell anyone about such a pathetic thought, especially that stupid fox, Miyamizu Yukisato.

He was sure that if he dared to tell that stupid fox, Miyamizu Yukisato, Miyamizu Rin would definitely know about it within three days.

At that time, he didn’t know if he would ever be strong enough to pin Miyamizu Rin down on the bed and spank her, but it was certain that he would be severely scolded by Miyamizu Rin.

For a moment, there was no talk, and the air fell silent.

The two of them sat quietly together, enjoying the beautiful scenery before them.

In the distance, the lush green mountains were visible. In the azure sky, white clouds occasionally drifted by.

It was a beautiful spring day, perfect for a spring outing with a loved one.

The two of them silently enjoyed the scenery for a while, and the air became even quieter. Besides the occasional “flap, flap” of water birds flapping their wings in the nearby waterweeds, there was only the sound of flowing water and the sound of wind chimes when the river wind blew past the eaves.

“Ding-a-ling,” it was very pleasant.

Perhaps because the atmosphere was a bit ambiguous, Miyamizu Rin’s snow-white, crystal-clear earlobes were tinged with a faint pink.

She took the initiative to break the silence and asked, “Arisugawa-kun, how is your Divine Weapon Spell training going?”

“It’s okay, I guess.”

Arisugawa Yuu replied.

“Okay, what does that mean?”

Miyamizu Rin frowned beautifully.

Seeing her cute frowning face, Arisugawa Yuu smiled, “Let me show you.”

Hearing this, Miyamizu Rin crossed her arms noncommittally, with a “let’s see what tricks you can pull” attitude.

“All things in the world, obey my command.”

Arisugawa Yuu used the Divine Weapon Spell on the water flowing by Miyamizu Rin’s delicate jade feet.

As his words fell, a few transparent koi fish quickly condensed from the river water by Miyamizu Rin’s jade feet.

Out of a mischievous impulse, Arisugawa Yuu controlled the few koi fish to swim to the soles of Miyamizu Rin’s feet and then tickled them a few times.

“Nn~”

Under the surprise attack, Miyamizu Rin couldn’t help but let out a soft moan, her voice both delicate and charming.

Her originally snow-white face turned as red as a rosy cloud, as radiant as a peach blossom.

Looking at the beautiful Miyamizu Rin so close, Arisugawa Yuu couldn’t help but react.

However, before he could make any further moves, Miyamizu Rin, who had come to her senses, reached out and pinched the soft flesh on his waist.

“You’re dead, perverted foot fetishist.”

Miyamizu Rin cursed, her face red.

“Senpai, senpai, big sis, it hurts, it hurts, it hurts, let go, I was wrong…”

Arisugawa Yuu’s screams echoed far along the river, startling a flock of water birds.

This was what happened on a beautiful spring day in early April.

Even long after, Arisugawa Yuu would still remember this day.

He remembered the beauty of this moment, he remembered… Miyamizu Rin’s moving charm that made the world pale in comparison.

Life is beautiful because of these trivial things.
