Chapter 46: The Softest Trap Is the Hardest to Resist

“Brother, this is delicious. Try it.”

Kanzuki Kanon gently placed a piece of wagyu roll right at Arisugawa Yuu’s lips, making an “Aaah~” sound.

At this moment, the two were sitting across from each other at the dinner table.

But unlike before, she hadn’t made him cook. Instead, she’d ordered takeout.

There was sukiyaki hot pot, omurice, teriyaki chicken, grilled lobster, and steamed crab.

The spread was shockingly lavish.

Just the massive grilled lobsters alone—two people couldn’t possibly finish them, let alone with everything else.

Equally shocking was the price.

Arisugawa Yuu glanced at the bill, trying to see how much it cost. The long string of digits made his eye twitch. “Kanon, did you have to be so wasteful? Why order such expensive food?”

“Hmph.” Kanzuki Kanon pouted, muttering, “Why does brother care about that? Open your mouth—otherwise it’ll get cold and won’t taste good.”

Fine. The food was already ordered. Complaining now was useless. Arisugawa Yuu obediently opened his mouth, waiting to be fed.

Kanzuki Kanon happily placed the beef in his mouth, then asked eagerly: “How is it, brother? Tasty?”

Seeing his sister suddenly become so gentle and adorable, Arisugawa Yuu felt deeply uneasy. But this was his doing. He’d have to adapt.

The reason was simple. Earlier, seeing her sobbing so pitifully in his arms, he’d softened and said, “If you stop tormenting me and just act gentle and cute, I promise I’ll stay with you—forever, and never leave.”

And now, she’d become this.

Seeing Arisugawa Yuu silent, Kanzuki Kanon puffed her cheeks, looking hurt. Her aqua-blue eyes quickly filled with tears as she choked up: “Why won’t brother speak? Are you angry? Please don’t be mad… if I did something wrong, tell me, and I’ll fix it right away.”

Seeing her cry again, Arisugawa Yuu hurried to comfort her: “Kanon, don’t cry. Brother was just spacing out. I’m not mad.”

“Good… brother not being mad is good.”

Hearing this, Kanzuki Kanon let out a breath, as if relieved, and patted her chest.

The full, snowy mounds swayed, so dazzlingly white that Arisugawa Yuu didn’t know where to look.

As if unaware of his reaction, she turned, picked up a pre-peeled lobster from the table, leaned close, and held it to his lips, her voice soft and sweet: “Brother, eat this lobster. It’s really delicious.”

The sweet scent of her body mixed with the aroma of lobster meat. Her soft, bouncy chest pressed against his arm. She smiled gently, her voice like honey.

This perfect scene almost made Arisugawa Yuu think he was dreaming.

But this wasn’t a dream. This was real.

And precisely because it was real, the drastic contrast was even more shocking.

He sat there, dazed, struggling to process it.

Kanzuki Kanon didn’t mind. Instead, she gently urged him: “Aaah~ Brother, open wide.”

Mechanically, Arisugawa Yuu opened his mouth and ate the lobster.

From there, every dish was repeated in the same way.

Throughout, Kanzuki Kanon didn’t eat a single bite—she only served him.

Only when Arisugawa Yuu said he couldn’t eat anymore did she stop.

He thought that would be the end—but then—

“Brother, would you like some water?”

She stood up, poured a glass, and brought it to his lips.

This was too gentle.

The extreme contrast was starting to overwhelm him.

He reluctantly took the glass, saying, “Kanon, I can do this myself.”

She tilted her head cutely. “Does brother think I’m clumsy? If I am, please don’t be mad. Just give me time—I can learn.”

No good, no good, no good. This was too adorable.

Arisugawa Yuu was speechless. He felt himself starting to fall.

Seeing his silence, Kanzuki Kanon asked with concern: “Brother, why aren’t you speaking? Are you feeling unwell?”

As she spoke, she leaned in even closer—then placed her delicate hand on his body, wandering freely. Whether she was checking for illness or just taking the chance to grope him was unclear.

After a moment, Arisugawa Yuu decided it was definitely the latter.

He quickly grabbed her wandering hand, whispering, “Kanon, I’m fine.”

“Mmm~” At his touch, she let out a soft, sultry moan. Her snow-white cheeks flushed deeply with color.

After a second, her voice trembled: “G-Glad brother is okay.”

She felt herself growing damp, instinctively pressing her long legs together. Her breathing grew rapid, her breath hot.

Noticing her state, Arisugawa Yuu realized their current position was terrible.

Before, it wouldn’t have mattered. No matter how revealing her clothes, how perfect her body, how stunning her beauty—he’d always kept his distance because he couldn’t stand her personality.

But now was different.

Kanzuki Kanon was already a beauty who rivaled Miyamizu Rin in looks.

Before, one could say she was flawless—except for her personality.

Now? She was perfect.

Personality and appearance—both beyond reproach.

The glimpse of her full, snowy cleavage at the corner of his eye made his throat dry.

Arisugawa Yuu awkwardly looked away, muttering, “Kanon, you’re too close.”

He tried to scoot back, but it was useless—the couch was against the wall. He had nowhere to go.

Hearing him, Kanzuki Kanon leaned even closer.

When her soft, pink lips were about a centimeter from his, she stopped.

They stared into each other’s eyes.

At this proximity, Arisugawa Yuu could see his own face fully reflected in Kanzuki Kanon’s aqua-blue eyes.

Likewise, her face filled his entire vision.

A strange feeling arose—as if they were the only two people in the world. As if the universe existed only for them.

An intimate atmosphere began to bloom.

Kanzuki Kanon blinked, her lips parting slightly, her voice sweet and timid: “Brother… since I’ve been so good… can I kiss you?”

What if I used her feelings for me? Gave her just enough rewards to keep her hopeful—make her think her goal is achievable? Could she stay this gentle and obedient forever?

Arisugawa Yuu considered the possibility.

After some thought, he believed it could work.

But that would be too cruel. Too unfair to Miyamizu-senpai.

The right thing to do was—unless absolutely necessary, no physical contact. Keep distance. Don’t give her false hope.

After all, the greater the expectation, the deeper the disappointment. Better to lower her hopes from the start than to let her fall into despair later.

It would be kinder to everyone.

After a moment of reflection, Arisugawa Yuu decided to refuse.

But before he could speak—her soft, moist lips pressed against his.

“Brother stayed silent for so long… that means you agreed. I’m kissing you now, okay?”

That was the last thing she said before sealing his lips.

Arisugawa Yuu noticed a flicker of cunning in her aqua-blue eyes. So, though she seemed gentler, her intelligence hadn’t dulled. She hadn’t become a complete love-struck fool.

In a way, she was even harder to deal with now.

After all, men were creatures who yielded to softness, not force.

A gentle, loving paradise—this was the most irresistible, sweetest trap of all.

Unlike the previous forceful kiss, this time, the girl gently guided Arisugawa Yu.

The moment their tongues touched, a faint electric current surged through his body—tingling, buzzing, incredibly pleasant.

And the pleasure didn’t stop there.

The girl leaned into Arisugawa Yuu’s arms, wrapping her delicate arms tightly around his neck.

As their bodies pressed together, an unprecedented softness and elasticity enveloped his entire world.

At this moment, only one thought echoed in Arisugawa Yuu’s mind—

So big. So soft. So good.

He wanted nothing more than to sink into this feeling—forever.
