Su Cheng rubbed her belly, which was round and taut like a ball.

Yin Xuelian, who had been sitting beside her, was now gone.

And Su Cheng was now like a doll, being held in the arms of a certain school belle, watching anime.

Yin Xuelian’s arms were wrapped around Su Cheng’s slender waist, and from time to time, she would sniff the fragrance of her hair.

Her guess was correct; Su Cheng’s petite figure was perfect for a hug pillow.

“Ugh…” Su Cheng let out a muffled sound.

Although she was sitting on a soft lap, Su Cheng’s mood was anything but happy.

“Sister Lian, let’s go for a walk.”

“Hmm? Are you feeling better?” Yin Xuelian tilted her head and asked.

Su Cheng nodded lightly, “My stomach is bloated. A walk will help with digestion.”

Yin Xuelian agreed and let Su Cheng down.

Like a kitten released by its owner, Su Cheng happily spun in a circle.

The two of them left together, not forgetting to take the trash with them.

Night had fallen, and the lights on both sides of the road were all lit. The heat of the day had been replaced by a refreshing coolness that seeped into her heart.

“Phew, after lying in the dorm for so long, I can finally move around.”

Although her fever had just subsided, Su Cheng was bouncing around like she was perfectly fine.

Yin Xuelian followed behind Su Cheng, watching her jump around like a child.

“You just ate, don’t jump around so much.”

“I know, I know.”

Su Cheng didn’t want to listen to her, but thinking about her own physical condition, she eventually stopped jumping.

Yin Xuelian took Su Cheng’s small hand, no longer letting her run around.

As they passed the training grounds and heard the sound of footsteps rising and falling, Su Cheng couldn’t help but snicker.

Being sick today meant she could escape another day of military training.

But she would have to rejoin them tomorrow.

At this thought, the smile on Su Cheng’s face gradually faded.

“Sigh, why is this military training still so long?”

Yin Xuelian looked at Su Cheng and said softly, “There are only eight or nine days left. It’ll be over soon.”

Su Cheng said with a hint of prayer, “It would be great if it rained for a few more days.”

“How could something so good happen? It’s already quite lucky that it’s rained twice for you.”

“Alright. I’m content.”

The two of them walked slowly along the campus path. The night wind blew gently, carrying with it the fragrance of flowers.

The view before them suddenly opened up. Su Cheng abruptly stopped and looked up at the star-dusted night sky.

“The stars are so bright tonight.”

Su Cheng couldn’t help but exclaim. The clear night sky, with the bright moon hanging high, was accompanied by the stars.

“Tomorrow will definitely be a good day.”

Yin Xuelian followed her gaze and looked at the twinkling stars, the corners of her mouth curving slightly.

She then lowered her head and looked at Su Cheng’s sparkling azure eyes, which were like a vast starry sky, making one fall in love uncontrollably.

“Little Orange, I’ll take you to see the stars,” Yin Xuelian suggested.

Su Cheng’s interest was piqued.

“Really?”

“Of course. The observatory is right up here. It’s open to the public for free.”

Su Cheng didn’t know there was an observatory. It seemed she had wasted her time at Xihua University in her past life.

“Great! Let’s go, let’s go.”

The two of them changed direction and walked towards the observatory on the hill behind the university.

The road to the observatory wasn’t far. It was built halfway up the mountain, only about two hundred meters from the foot of the hill.

Standing on the observatory, the view was even more open than before, with the vast, boundless night sky in full view.

Looking straight up, the stars surrounded the moon. At the edge of the night sky was an orange-red glow lit by neon lights.

The gentle evening breeze caressed their cheeks, so comfortable that it made one close their eyes.

“Wow, the scenery here is so beautiful.”

Yin Xuelian stood behind Su Cheng, only speaking, without any other movements, “Of course. This is the best place in the entire university to see the night view, bar none.”

Su Cheng nodded in agreement and pulled out two candies from her pocket.

“Strange, when did I put these candies here? Sister Lian, here’s one for you.”

Su Cheng said, turning to hand Yin Xuelian an orange-flavored fruit candy.

“Oh, are you afraid of low blood sugar?”

Yin Xuelian took the candy, her fingertips inadvertently touching Su Cheng’s palm, feeling a slight warmth.

Caught by Yin Xuelian, Su Cheng explained, “Yeah, I was so scared last time, I don’t dare anymore.”

Yin Xuelian smiled as she looked at Su Cheng, unwrapped the candy, and popped it into her mouth. The sweetness, accompanied by a strong orange flavor, immediately spread across her tongue.

A familiar feeling arose, as if Su Cheng was kissing her.

“Is it sweet?” Su Cheng asked expectantly.

“Mm, very sweet,” a trace of gentleness flashed in Yin Xuelian’s eyes as she suddenly wrapped her arm around Su Cheng’s slender waist. “As sweet as you.”

Su Cheng’s face instantly turned red.

“Gibberish, what nonsense are you talking about…”

The soft moonlight illuminated her fair, rosy face. As she met Yin Xuelian’s clear eyes, their gazes locked, and her heart began to beat uncontrollably faster.

Under the bright moon, Su Cheng was even more beautiful and moving.

“Little Orange, close your eyes… okay…?”

The voice, as soft as spring rain, tugged at Su Cheng’s heartstrings.

“What are you… trying to do again…”

“Don’t ask, just close your eyes first.”

Although she already knew what she was going to do, Su Cheng still obediently did as she was told.

The white moonlight on her, her eyelashes trembled like cicada wings.

She felt a little nervous. Although it wasn’t the first time, this was the first time it was so serious, and in such a romantic setting.

They had never had such an experience in their past life.

Her two small hands clutched the corner of Yin Xuelian’s clothes.

Yin Xuelian’s red lips parted slightly as she slowly leaned down, a gentle smile on her lips.

As her eyes moved, it seemed as if an endless tenderness and affection were surging.

“Wifey~”

Her voice was pleasant and playful, and in that playfulness was a honey-like sweetness.

In an instant, Su Cheng felt a warm softness touch her own lips.

Her hands, clutching the corner of her clothes, subconsciously tightened.

For some reason, even though they had kissed so many times in their past life, and were now kissing the same person again after being reborn, it still made her heart race and flutter.

The crack that had been chiseled open before was now gradually turning into a chasm under Yin Xuelian’s gentle assault.

The enchanting fragrance made one linger and forget to leave.

The gentle evening wind carried away the heat from their cheeks, and their hair, dancing in the wind, lightly brushed against their flushed faces.

This kiss, witnessed by the moonlight, was as gentle as a spring morning breeze and as pure as autumn morning dew.

A deep love was continuously transmitted to Su Cheng’s heart through the bridge they had built.

Her heart began to pound faster again, and Su Cheng was a little flustered.

About a minute later, the two of them slowly parted. A barely noticeable silver thread broke, sticking to their rosy, thin lips.

“Sister Lian…”

Su Cheng’s delicate face was flushed, and as her chest heaved, her dazed eyes stared at Yin Xuelian.

Yin Xuelian tucked a strand of hair that had stuck to the corner of her mouth, her slender finger gently lifting a strand from Su Cheng’s face, clearing away everything that obscured her pretty face, allowing her to see it more clearly.

“What’s wrong? Baby…”

“Why did you call me… wifey?”

Su Cheng deliberately paused, and Yin Xuelian just smiled faintly.

“You clearly know, do you still need me to say it?”

Su Cheng pretended not to understand. She wanted a definite answer and tilted her head to ask, “I don’t know. How would I know?”

“Hehe, then I’ll tell you. It’s because…”

Just then, a bright shooting star streaked across the night sky.

“Look, a shooting star!”

“Really?”

Changing the subject at such a critical moment, Su Cheng thought Yin Xuelian was trying to trick her.

But looking in the direction Yin Xuelian was pointing, she really did see a shooting star with a long tail in the sky.

“It’s real! Quick, make a wish, make a wish!”

Su Cheng immediately clasped her hands together, closed her eyes towards the shooting star, and made a wish.

After making her wish, Su Cheng opened her eyes and found that Yin Xuelian was watching her. She couldn’t help but ask curiously, “What did Sister Lian wish for?”

Yin Xuelian smiled mysteriously, “I’m not telling you.”

“Tell me~” Su Cheng tugged on her arm and shook it gently, with a hint of coquettishness.

But Yin Xuelian wouldn’t tell her, maintaining her smile, “I’m not telling. Guess for yourself.”

“Then you should at least answer my previous question,” Su Cheng pouted in dissatisfaction.

“Silly girl, I’ve told you before. You’re the one who doesn’t remember. I’m not saying it again.”

She took Su Cheng’s slightly cool hand and held it tightly in her palm.

Yin Xuelian said with concern, “It’s getting chilly from the wind. I should take you back. I need to get some rest early too.”

“Hey, hey, you still haven’t answered my question!”

“Silly girl, go guess.”

The night wind blew gently, casting their shadows long on the ground, yet they always overlapped.

On the training grounds in the distance, the girls who had stopped their training to wish upon the shooting star prayed devoutly for their wishes to come true.
