Chapter 13: Liuguo

Liuguo is a small country near the Sun-Returning Continent.

Although small in size, from ancient times to the present, few foolish or tyrannical rulers have existed there.

Liuguo borders Hullak to the east and the Western Peninsula Kingdom to the south.

Its landscapes are some of the most magnificent in the world.

Among the nations of Westchuan, many possess fine scenery, yet due to Liuguo’s small power, it has not gained global recognition.

Liuguo’s military strength must not be underestimated.

Except during the turmoil of the “Conquest Era,” it has never suffered defeat in major war.

Its global influence is clearly visible.

Many alloy materials originate in Liuguo, leading its industry and technology to be highly developed.

Its rulers strongly believe in a divine spirit named Liurijing.

Liurijing authored the book Liushi Governance, which contains many principles for ruling and securing a nation.

Today these methods are included in Liuguo’s basic national law to educate rulers.

The people of Liuguo live in great peace and joy.

Thus we see that when a nation possesses beautiful landscapes, avoids excessive conquest, suffers little in war, and its rulers love their people, then even small lands may rise as powerful nations.
