Chapter 26: Origin of the World · Illusions of the Gods (Chapter seven)

At the dawn of the world, the Earth God awoke,

stretching within chaos, laying the foundation of all things.

His skin was the vast, boundless soil,

dark brown and deep, containing endless mysteries of life.

The mountains were his raised spine, firm and strong,

coiling like a dragon, supporting the frame of heaven and earth.

Everest was his proud head held high,

its white snow shining with holy brilliance.

Rivers flowed like living blood through his body,

the Yellow River surged, telling ancient stories;

the mighty Amazon nourished millions,

irrigating the land, turning wastelands into fields of grain.

Grasslands spread across his chest like a soft velvet blanket,

the wind moves, the grass sways, and sheep drift like white clouds.

The Serengeti is the stage of life,

where wildebeests thunder, revealing nature’s passion.

The Earth God gives silently, never asking for reward,

birthing grains so mankind may flourish.

Fruit trees sway, offering their sweet harvest,

minerals lie buried, aiding the rise of civilization.

He shelters every inch of the land,

villages are peaceful, cities thrive in his embrace.

Facing humanity’s demands, he remains tolerant,

hoping only that we cherish and protect this beautiful earth.

No matter how the years change, he stands firm,

with strong arms guarding the peace of all things.
