Chapter 19: Drunk

Wen Xi’s mind raced through several turns before she finally understood what Cheng Si meant by “fake one.” She stood dumbfounded for a moment, then raised an eyebrow, her lips curving slightly: “Knowing so clearly… have you played with one yourself?”

He hadn’t expected her to branch out in that direction. Cheng Si looked up abruptly, his Adam’s apple bobbing. Flickering shadows fell on his stunned cheeks as he instinctively denied it: “No… how could I!”

Wen Xi took another sip of wine and smiled: “If you haven’t, you haven’t. Why get so anxious?” Cheng Si breathed for a few moments, stuttering an explanation: “I… I only agreed if you liked it… if you don’t like it, I wouldn’t do such a thing.”

“Fine, since you’ve said so, I’ll buy one when I get back.” Wen Xi thought of something, her tone taking a wicked pause: “Is one enough? I heard male Omegas have a slightly different internal structure…”

“It’s… it’s enough.” Cheng Si buried his head, not daring to look at her.

“Then how big should I buy?” Wen Xi tilted her head, her gaze falling on him with a hint of secret teasing. “How big are Alphas usually?” “…” Cheng Si buried his head deeper and deeper, his ears burning. He spat out two words stiffly: “…I don’t know.”

Wen Xi refused to let him hide. She reached out to cup his chin, forcing him to meet her gaze, pretending to be conflicted: “What do you think of twenty centimeters?” “It’s… it’s okay…” Cheng Si answered stutteringly, his straight eyelashes trembling like a butterfly’s wings.

“No, you said last time you were thick-skinned. Isn’t twenty a bit too small for you?” Wen Xi seemed to be thoughtfully considering him. “How about twenty-five?”

“Okay…” Cheng Si gritted his teeth, as if throwing caution to the wind, and nodded heavily. “You buy whatever size you want. I… I’ll listen to you…”

He was tensed up entirely. His uniform barely covered anything. When Wen Xi lowered her head slightly, the rising and falling contours of his firm chest muscles, hardened by the friction of the fabric, fell into her sight. She could see it, and others could too. Realizing this, Wen Xi’s gaze suddenly became deep.

“You really listen to me?” Wen Xi raised an eyebrow and laughed inexplicably. “What if I buy you a thirty?”

Cheng Si’s pupils shrank as he looked at her in disbelief. Thirty…! That level felt like it exceeded human limits. For a moment, he wasn’t sure if Wen Xi was serious or joking. After all, her tone was as normal as could be, as if she were truly discussing the possibility with him. Her curled eyelashes flickered slightly, her almond eyes full of world-naive cleanliness.

But in his prolonged silence, Wen Xi’s face gradually fell, and she lowered her head in disappointment: “No? Then forget it…”

“It… it’s also okay!” Cheng Si couldn’t stand the sight of her being disappointed. In a moment of heat, his head nodded. By the time he reacted, he felt a slight sense of inner collapse. Thinking of the terrifying thirty, his legs felt a bit weak. Will I really not be broken? But Wen Xi was still looking forward to it, so he could only flush and grit his teeth, continuing to nod: “You decide. Thirty is okay. Anything is okay…”

Wen Xi had originally thought he would refuse. Hearing this bottomless “anything is okay,” her heart was suddenly filled with mixed emotions. She loved to tease him, just as she often teased a Doberman with snacks until the puppy started whimpering at her in a rush, before wickedly feeding the snack to the puppy’s mouth.

But Cheng Si seemed different. In front of her, he seemed to have no aggression at all. His tolerance for her was so high that it made her feel a bit bad.

Just then, a DJ landed on the stage, and cheers erupted throughout the venue. A male in a slim-fitting white shirt descended into the center of the spotlight. He swayed his hips, tied up in standard bondage knots, the red ropes tightening his chest muscles to an excessively full degree.

Wen Xi drained the wine in her glass. The slightly irritating liquid flowed down her throat into her stomach, lighting a hot fire. She lazily lifted her eyelids and said in a very light voice: “I’m not buying it.” “Why?” “No reason.” Wen Xi let out a cold laugh.

I haven’t even tried it myself. Why should I let a fake one go in first?

Under his puzzled gaze, Wen Xi reached one hand into his wide-open uniform collar. Her eyes held a hint of curiosity mixed with faint desire. She had to measure it herself. To see whether the DJ on stage had a bigger chest, or if Cheng Si did.

Cheng Si let out a muffled groan and lowered his head, arching his back. Wen Xi took the opportunity to kiss him, grinding against him densely, letting their breaths melt together.

Having not played in a place like this for a long time, Luo Wanran was drenched in sweat. When she came off the dance floor, she encountered many Alphas trying to strike up a conversation. She didn’t even think about it, walking straight toward the booth where Wen Xi was.

It wasn’t that the Alphas here were bad; it was just that if she went home with someone, it would seem a bit disloyal to leave Wen Xi alone at the booth.

Just watching her have a blast. How pitiful.

However, when she returned to the booth and saw the moment of messy clothes and flushed faces, she silently slapped herself in her heart. Her pitiness! What the hell was she worried about!

Looking closely again, who else could the person being pinned and kissed by Wen Xi be but Cheng Si?

“…” Luo Wanran hugged herself in heartache. She was the pitiful one.

“Cough…” Luo Wanran walked over, pretending to cough a few times.

No movement.

“Cough, cough, cough…” She had no choice but to cough loudly.

It was Cheng Si who heard the sound first. He opened his eyes and glanced up, startled by Luo Wanran’s glowing green gaze, and instinctively dodged backward. “Don’t move.” Wen Xi frowned and looked up, her cheeks flushed unnaturally, her eyes filled with dissatisfaction at being disturbed.

Cheng Si whispered an explanation: “Someone’s here.”

Wen Xi slowly shifted her gaze to Luo Wanran standing in front of her. After a few seconds of identification, she said a bit sluggishly: “It’s okay. Wanran isn’t an outsider.”

Luo Wanran: “…” Thank you for the recognition.

Luo Wanran could tell just by looking at Wen Xi that this girl was definitely drunk. Catching sight of more than half a bottle of whiskey missing from the table, she thought, no wonder.

“What are you trying to do, getting her drunk?” Luo Wanran looked at Cheng Si, her voice filled with teasing.

Reminded of this, Cheng Si finally noticed that Wen Xi’s state was indeed abnormal. He didn’t explain that it wasn’t intentional. After a moment of silence, he only asked: “Then what do we do now?”

Last time at the Scented Sea City, Wen Xi had also opened a bottle of wine. Cheng Si thought she had a good tolerance, so he didn’t really stop her tonight. Who knew she would be drunk after half a bottle of whiskey.

“What else can we do? Whoever got her drunk takes care of her,” Luo Wanran laughed. “Anyway, I can’t do it. You know, right? She doesn’t like being touched.” Pausing, she grinned with her white teeth: “Except for you.”

As if to prove her words, Wen Xi, seemingly due to her head becoming dizzier, instinctively leaned toward Cheng Si. She buried her head in his chest and circled his waist, holding him tightly. She didn’t lose her temper. With her long eyelashes lowered, she held her “possession” with peace and satisfaction.

Cheng Si hesitated for a moment, then, as if coaxing someone to sleep, he raised his palm and gently patted her thin back.

“!!!!!” Luo Wanran held her breath to control the urge to scream. Aaaah! What kind of giant male-mom-carrying-baby scene is this!!

“Mommy—ah, no,” Luo Wanran coughed tactically. Meeting Cheng Si’s expressionless face, she quickly changed her words. “Cheng… Student Cheng, can you drive?”

Cheng Si nodded: “I can.” Most people who came here drank, so he occasionally worked as a designated driver.

“You haven’t been drinking, right?” “No.” He had spent the whole time pouring wine for Wen Xi.

“That’s great,” Luo Wanran clapped her hands and threw the car keys to him. “I’ve been drinking and can’t drive. Can you help drive my car and take Wen Xi back?”

Looking at Wen Xi’s sleeping profile, Cheng Si said okay. He truly didn’t want to hand the drunk Wen Xi over to anyone else.

After a moment, Cheng Si suddenly asked: “If I drive your car, how will you get back?”

“Don’t worry about me.” Luo Wanran waved her hand casually and turned to look at a fox-masked Alpha on the dance floor who was incredibly flirtatious. A hint of interest flashed in her eyes: “Maybe I won’t be going back.”

Cheng Si understood and half-carried, half-hugged Wen Xi out.

By the time they reached Wen Xi’s house, it was already two in the morning. Wen Xi had a “good” drunk personality. From getting in the car to sitting on the sofa back home, she showed no intention of being rowdy. She only half-closed her eyelids lazily and tiredly. Her innate upbringing was vividly displayed at this moment.

“Do you want to wash up?” Cheng Si asked her softly. Wen Xi nodded: “My body smells so bad.”

The smell of smoke and alcohol from the CLUB clung to everyone; it truly wasn’t pleasant. Cheng Si led her into the bathroom, prepared warm water for her, and helped her brush her teeth and wash her face.

Wen Xi still needed to shower, but Cheng Si didn’t feel comfortable letting her wash alone, nor could he take advantage of her state to suggest helping. So he found the elegant perfume she usually used on the skincare shelf to cover up the other scents on her body.

Once everything was ready, Wen Xi opened the bedroom door and lay down on the bed neatly.

“…” Cheng Si stood outside the door, thinking expressionlessly. Her drunk personality was really a bit too good.

After struggling for a while, Cheng Si gave up the idea of going in without permission. Just as he was about to speak to say goodbye, he heard a somewhat impatient voice from under the covers: “What are you standing there for? Aren’t you coming over?”

Cheng Si’s footsteps froze abruptly, and his heart skipped a beat.

Wen Xi felt like she was having a bizarre dream.

In the dream, someone stuffed a piece of cotton candy into her mouth—soft and milky-scented. But no matter how she ate it, the cotton candy wouldn’t melt; instead, it seemed to grow larger.

Unwilling to accept this, she used her hands. She wanted to knead the cotton candy into a ball. Who knew the cotton candy was so big and soft; she couldn’t even hold it with one hand.

She became obsessed with the cotton candy. She couldn’t help but take a bite.

It seemed she was too forceful. She didn’t know who was making several hissing sounds of inhalation in her ear. The cotton candy also trembled violently, jumping a few times in her palm.

Immediately after, the cotton candy was taken away, and a hard candy slid into her mouth. Wen Xi was very angry. So angry that she used the hard candy to grind her canine teeth.

In a daze, she seemed to hear someone sighing with a raspy voice in her ear, saying something. “Wen Xi…” “Can you switch to the other side…”
