Yun Jing didn’t agree to see a psychologist, but she was forcibly dragged by Meng Zhenyue to listen to a one-hour “suggestion” session in her capacity as a mother.
Yun Zhixue was indeed lacking in trace elements; she bought a pack of oral liquid at a large pharmacy and drank a bottle before leaving the hospital.
Yun Jing sat straight in the back seat, her hand resting on her knee, her brows furrowed as she glanced at Yun Zhixue in the passenger seat from time to time.
Yun Zhixue was initially uncomfortable, but she quickly got used to this high-pressure environment and thought: Ah, you really get jealous easily.
It was three in the afternoon, peak heat time.
The car drove home, and Yun Zhixue went upstairs to review her lessons while Yun Jing flipped through Yun Zhixue’s stack of checkup reports.
It was scorching summer, and the heat upon returning was intense.
Meng Zhenyue took a short nap and then changed into her swimsuit to go to the pool.
She wore a black one-piece, the fabric hugging her porcelain skin tightly.
She stepped onto the poolside tiles barefoot and casually tossed her scarf onto the lounge chair, swimming in a rather casual manner.
Yun Jing sat in front of the floor-to-ceiling window downstairs watching, while her daughter stood in front of the floor-to-ceiling window upstairs peering out.
The water surface reflected broken light, and Meng Zhenyue broke the surface.
The neckline of the swimsuit outlined a beautiful curve just right, and the sunlight gilded that splash of snow-white skin.
Meng Zhenyue saw her, and Yun Zhixue wanted to hide but couldn’t bear to part.
Meng Zhenyue hooked a finger at her and called out for her to change into a pair of shorts and come down to play together.
Yun Zhixue ran down the stairs.
The scab on her wound had formed a thick layer, and the doctor said it was fine to soak in water and exercise.
Meng Zhenyue was still a bit uneasy, so she only let her stand in the water to play.
Meng Zhenyue asked, “Can you swim?”
Yun Zhixue shook her head. “No.”
Meng Zhenyue said, “I’ll teach you when you’re better.”
Yun Jing was puzzled; Yun Zhixue could swim, and she swam quite well, so Yun Jing stared deeply at her daughter in the pool.
Meng Zhenyue supported her and used a towel to wipe her face.
Yun Zhixue could see her swimsuit.
The neckline was neither high nor low, revealing half a snow-covered mountain, the triangle outlining smooth curves.
The enticing milk-white color of her breasts shimmered with a fine luster under the sunlight, making one unable to resist pressing one’s face against it and using one’s tongue to trace the soft arc.
Her waist was slender, the lines tapering beautifully, as if a single hand could encircle it.
If one got close, one might smell the faint scent of sunscreen on her, damp and warm.
Her wet hair stuck to her neck, water droplets sliding down her jaw and disappearing at the edge of the swimsuit.
Want to get close.
Want to touch.
Want to bury one’s face in the crook of her neck, feel her body temperature, and hear her low laughter in one’s ear.
What should one do?
Just then, Yun Jing was walking towards the poolside.
Yun Zhixue stepped forward tentatively.
Since Yun Jing was close to Meng Zhenyue, Yun Zhixue got even closer to Meng, bumping directly into Meng’s arms.
Meng Zhenyue also sensed Yun Jing’s straightforward expression.
She didn’t like it either; even a child would be afraid, so she pinched Yun Zhixue’s cheek and rubbed it gently.
Yun Jing walked over, and Yun Zhixue buried her face in Meng Zhenyue’s shoulder, as if hiding from her.
“I’ve finished my homework, can I play for a while?”
Meng Zhenyue almost couldn’t stand straight.
She leaned back and sat on the edge to soothe her: “It’s fine, you can.”
Yun Zhixue buried herself even deeper.
Yun Jing stood to the side, looking exactly like a hundred-watt lightbulb, not understanding her purpose in existence for a moment.
Meng Zhenyue needed to clamp her legs around Yun Zhixue’s waist to stabilize her, and Yun Zhixue could feel the softness of the legs and the power of the muscles.
She liked this close contact so much; it squeezed out the unease in her heart.
She even wanted to say: “Mommy, can you be a bit tighter?”
Meng Zhenyue had the intention to let the mother and daughter interact.
Yun Jing sat stiffly next to her, and for ten minutes, Yun Zhixue didn’t look at her once.
Yun Jing hated this cold shoulder and only sat for a little while before getting up.
At this moment, Yun Zhixue raised her head.
Meng Zhenyue knew she wanted to communicate with Yun Jing, so she said: “Do you want her to come over? I’ll call her for you again.”
Yun Zhixue shook her head frantically.
“Look at how scared you look.” Meng Zhenyue pinched her red cheeks, pinching her more and more fondly.
They were hot, mainly because she was shy and wanted to hide.
When she stopped pinching her, she would actively pinch her a couple of times more.
“You are completely different from your mom.”
Yun Zhixue liked this sentence.
It showed that Meng Zhenyue liked her uniqueness; it was Yun Zhixue who attracted her.
The two of them played in the water for a while.
Meng Zhenyue helped her sit on the edge of the pool, fixed her hanging hair, and swam another round.
Yun Zhixue ran to get her a towel and bathrobe.
Meng Zhenyue patted her head. “So good.”
Meng Zhenyue was drying her hair, and water droplets flowed down the strands.
Below the waistline was a beautiful V-cut, the sexy triangle wrapping her hips, making the hand hanging down by Yun Zhixue’s side itch.
Yun Zhixue glanced, then lowered her head.
“Dry yourself too.” Seeing her clothes were wet, Meng Zhenyue reached out and pinched the hem of her clothes.
Yun Zhixue turned to the side, and her hand accidentally touched her side hip.
Her fingers trembled instantly.
Yun Zhixue didn’t wipe, but held the towel in both hands.
They entered the living room.
Yun Jing was in a meeting.
Meng Zhenyue, who had changed into house slippers at that moment, was charming enough to make Yun Jing want to wave at her.
She waved her hand, and Meng Zhenyue put on an outer garment.
When Yun Jing looked up again, Yun Zhixue was standing next to her.
Yun Zhixue asked her seriously: “Mommy. Do you want a towel?”
Yun Jing sometimes felt that it wasn’t that she couldn’t love her daughter, but that her daughter’s sometimes wooden behavior made her quite annoyed.
Yun Jing: “No.”
Yun Zhixue let out a long sigh of relief.
Yun Jing: “Why are you sighing?”
Because you don’t want the towel Mommy used, I can just take it, right?
Meng Zhenyue on the stairs thought she was fun and interesting.
She waved her hand and said: “Come over, I’ll apply lotion for you.”
Yun Zhixue followed her upstairs.
Meng Zhenyue told her to shower in the bathroom first and change clothes, then took out the toner and lotion to wipe her face.
Her hands pressed against Yun Zhixue’s cheeks, also deliberately rubbing her face.
For the rest, Meng Zhenyue let her do it herself, applying it to her arms and legs.
Yun Zhixue raised her arm and sniffed it.
Meng Zhenyue asked: “Don’t like this smell?”
“I like it.” Yun Zhixue nodded.
This was Meng Zhenyue’s scent, and the scent from her nightgown; she liked it so much.
She applied it slowly and carefully.
Meng Zhenyue thought she wouldn’t, so she poured it into the palm of her hand and applied it to her neck.
Yun Zhixue clearly felt her tremble.
“What’s wrong? Itchy?”
I don’t know, it’s just that the body wants to shake, and the toes are curling.
From the neck to the arms, and then landing on her shoulder blades to stroke, Yun Zhixue wanted to turn around to let Meng Zhenyue touch the front as well.
She wanted the front too, but Meng Zhenyue retracted her hand.
Meng Zhenyue saw her two big toes rubbing against each other and laughed.
She handed the bottle to Yun Zhixue. “Apply some to your legs too.”
The little girl was fair and looked good; once she filled out a bit, she would have a healthy complexion; it was best not to get tanned.
Meng Zhenyue went down to wash her hands.
Yun Jing finished the meeting.
She held a cigarette in her hand, about to smoke, her face full of depression, and looked up at Meng Zhenyue coming down the stairs.
Meng Zhenyue said: “Don’t make that face.
She is your daughter. Do you want her to flatter you like a sycophant? How can she interact with you intimately if you want interaction?”
Yun Jing was stubborn. “Then let her learn.”
Meng Zhenyue continued: “If you can’t give her affection, or if you don’t listen to the doctor, send her to her father.”
Yun Jing frowned, “Who said I gave birth with the help of a man?”
Meng Zhenyue tsked.
“Ms. Yun, giving birth with a woman at such a young age, quite rebellious.”
That evening, the three of them ate together.
Yun Jing kept looking at Yun Zhixue.
She found that she wasn’t as dried out as before, had gained a bit of flesh, and was more beautiful and more like…
A face flashed through her mind, but she suppressed it.
Yun Zhixue also occasionally looked at her, urging in her heart.
‘Why hasn’t Yun Jing left yet?’
The doctor’s words had authority.
After Yun Jing weighed it carefully, for Yun Zhixue’s grades, she still decided to cultivate some affection with her.
She spoke up rarely. “Tonight you sleep with me.”
The bean Yun Zhixue was about to put in her mouth slipped off the chopsticks and fell onto the table.
She looked at Yun Jing in confusion.
‘Is Mommy crazy?’
She wiped it away with a tissue and quickly glanced at Meng Zhenyue.
Meng Zhenyue was also shocked and almost laughed.
She said, “Then Zhixie, you sleep in my room, I’ll go to your room. If you mind, I’ll sleep in another room.”
“Okay.” After saying this, Yun Zhixue regretted it.
She wanted to have all of Meng Zhenyue’s scent in her quilt, but… sleeping with Yun Jing was really strange.
After dinner, Meng Zhenyue went back to her room to pack things.
To cultivate affection between the two of them, she only left one pillow.
She moved to Yun Zhixue’s room first, and Yun Zhixue went to the bathroom to shower and change over there.
Yun Jing didn’t have to work at night, and Yun Zhixie had no homework.
The two lay straight on their backs.
Yun Jing rested her head on a pillow, first hugging her arms, and then a few minutes later lying her hands flat.
Yun Zhixie stared at the ceiling, blinking her eyes one by one.
“Are you asleep?”
“No.”
“Asleep?”
“Mommy, you’re a bit loud.”
Yun Jing wished she could just sit up; she was really annoyed.
She didn’t know who she was torturing this way.
Fortunately, Yun Jing had a circadian rhythm.
She held on for a while and fell asleep.
This sleep was of very poor quality.
She had a shallow dream.
In the dream, Yun Zhixie was still an infant.
She absorbed a lot of nutrients in the womb, so Yun Zhixie was born bigger than a normal baby, and her eyes were bigger too.
She looked at the woman holding the baby; the light was too blinding, and she slowly woke up.
At first, Yun Jing didn’t even remember that Yun Zhixie was sleeping next to her.
Lying there and recalling the dream before, when she came back to her senses, she immediately sat up to look at the side.
She felt for her phone, turned on the light to search, and called her name, but there was no echo.
Yun Jing thought for a few minutes.
She took her phone, turned on the rear camera light, and went to Yun Zhixie’s room.
She twisted the door handle and pushed it open just a crack.
She could see Meng Zhenyue’s back as she lay on her side.
But when Yun Jing shone her light on it, she could vaguely make out that her daughter was huddled in the embrace of a lover, her hand resting on the lover’s thigh.
