Chapter 0: Prologue

The world was white.

Everywhere she looked, it was white.

She was surrounded by snow. Sparse trees dotted the landscape, suggesting she was somewhere in the mountains. A moment ago, she had been in her warm room. What was going on?

She searched her memories. She remembered writing a game review and then lying down on her bed.

It was an unrealistic thought, but it made sense.

‘Can’t a person leave a bad review for a game? And there are tons of reviewers out there. Why me?’

‘Besides, this is your fault. The world ends no matter what the player does. How is that not a
game?’

‘And labeling it a romance fantasy? Seriously?’

‘What were all those choices that led to the endings even for? No matter how much I think about it, I did nothing wrong.’

She started to move. Wherever she was, she needed to find people. Or at least a building.

She didn’t want to freeze to death.

She looked down. ‘Why am I barefoot?’

Her feet were white. They almost blended in with the snow. Pale, stark white.

‘Is that why I’m not cold? Are my nerves already dead, so I can’t feel the cold?’

Yet, she moved without issue. There were no signs of frostbite.

A chilling feeling washed over her, and she looked down at her body. White hands, a body clad in what looked like a dress made of packed snow.

‘Haha. No doubt about it. This is a woman’s body. Just for writing a scathing review, they stick me in a body like this and dump me in a snowfield.’

‘What is the world coming to…’

‘Okay, I was a little angry, and I did curse a bit, but this is too much, isn’t it? Can anyone hear me?’

There was no answer.

She kept walking since her body seemed to be working fine.

However, even after walking for a long time, all she saw were trees and snow-covered ground.

In the white world, she couldn’t even properly feel the passage of time.

Though her body was still full of energy, her mind was exhausted. She looked for a place to rest. She spotted a rock that looked suitable for sitting.

She sat down and after careful consideration, came to a conclusion.

‘It seems I’m really screwed.’
