Actors portray fictional beings.

They clearly act out falsehoods, yet they possess the power to captivate audiences.

Perhaps it’s because they know how to shine.

I certainly envied that ability.

If they are the light, I am the shadow.

A foolish entity that relies on the light while simultaneously wanting to drag it down to its level.

The epitome of a loser who never considers shining on its own.

However, regardless of that.

I never thought I would become one too.
