Chapter 0 : Prologue

There was a time like that.
A time when I still thought this world was a novel.
A time when, amidst the beautiful scenery unfolding before my eyes, I saw a girl with a familiar appearance, looking utterly miserable, and impulsively saved her before vanishing without a trace.

Even though I thought it was a novel.
Those two eyes, gradually losing their spark, the eyes of a witch who might one day bring an empire to ruin, stirred a pang of pity in me, and I offered her a small smile.
A time when, captivated by the first smile she directed at me, I reached out to help her once more.

And because of that, the witch had somehow become a woman obsessed with me alone.
