Chapter 1: A Morning After the Carnival of Flesh

Gasp.

Do-ha’s supporting arms gave way under the powerful thrust from behind, burying his face in the pillow.

The alcohol must have been truly taking hold, for even with his eyes closed, the dark world spun dizzily around him.

A wave of heat erupted from deep within his belly, and the sensation of something withdrawing from his body left him yearning for more, making him instinctively clench his buttocks.

As he felt the warmth of someone behind him, the moist touch on his nape, and a low, husky voice tickling his ear, Do-ha squeezed his eyes shut.

“Do you know how much I’ve searched for you?”

“Hngh.”

Entranced by the pleading tone, the unfamiliar sensation that resonated in his chest and made his heart tremble, Do-ha let out a soft whimper as the member slowly parted his inner walls and pushed deeper.

“Where do you think you’re going?”

The gentle voice was accompanied by a hot breath that made the fine hairs on his ears stand on end.

He tried to escape the overwhelming sensations, pushing with his arms, but the more he struggled, the more intensely the pleasure surged, leaving Do-ha with no choice but to surrender to it.

In the darkness, the man’s face remained unseen.

With each breath, the plum blossom scent filled his lungs, acting like an aphrodisiac as pleasure boiled endlessly within him, urging Do-ha to lift his hips higher.

With the copious fluids already welling up inside him and the entrance wide open, the long, hard shaft plunged in without hesitation, leaving Do-ha breathless, unable to utter even a faint moan.

The thick glans pushed through the slick inner walls, pressing against his most sensitive points.

“Aahng.”

From Do-ha’s erection, engorged with arousal, a milky fluid erupted.

“Did you come again?”

As the mix of semen and pre-cum was expelled and his shrunken member was enveloped by a hot, large hand, Do-ha instinctively shook his head.

‘I truly can’t take any more.’

Do-ha, who had barely managed to exert force through his fingertips, rustling the sheets as he tried to pull his body away from the bed, squeezed his eyes shut at a sudden surge of power.

The man, with perverse ease, turned Do-ha, who had been lying prone after their intimate encounter, to face him. His face came into view.

“Jin.”

Do-ha cradled the man’s cheeks with both hands as he kissed his face and called out an unfamiliar name.

While his sharp features and handsome face remained unchanged, it was his piteous expression and wet eyes that captivated Do-ha.

Hot lips descended upon his face, brushing his forehead, eyes, cheeks, and earlobes, before slowly settling upon his own lips.

‘That’s not my name, yet why does the name Jin, called out with such heart-wrenching desperation, feel like my own?’

Though it was clear he was being mistaken for someone else, Do-ha felt an inexplicable urge to embrace this man, a desire to become the person he was calling out to.

“Do-ha.”

Do-ha, disliking the name Jin, instinctively spoke his own name, but the only reply he received was “Jin.”

A hot tongue probed his lips, brushed his teeth, and entangled with Do-ha’s lost tongue.

Even the brief pause of what had been stirring inside him felt regrettable, so Do-ha lifted his legs to wrap them around the man’s waist.

“Hnngh—. St-stop…”

“Do you think I’d stop so easily?”

His legs were draped over the man’s shoulders, his body nearly folded in half.

Only the vivid sensation of being plunged into from above, thoroughly ravaged, then quickly withdrawn and re-entered, remained.

“Jin, cry prettily for me again.”

“Hnngh—.”

In that moment, as if knowing Do-ha’s body intimately from their many preceding encounters, he delved deep inside, making Do-ha clench his lower abdomen.

Unlike before, a few drops of milky fluid, squeezed out, fell onto Do-ha’s chest.

“Well done. Now, I’ll give you a reward.”

Although the words sounded like praise, the man’s fathomless black eyes, which Do-ha faced, seemed to sink endlessly, while Do-ha’s hips continuously twitched and bucked.

Feeling himself vaguely stirring from sleep, yet wanting to remain asleep, Do-ha buried his face in the blanket he was clutching.

The air, not carrying the familiar peach scent that usually enveloped him in the mornings but a strange, unfamiliar fragrance, brought a sense of unease.

The rustling sound and texture of the blanket, which moved with Do-ha, felt different from his usual one.

Moreover, as he woke further, a worsening headache and a pain akin to a severe body ache assailed him.

Do-ha opened his eyes to an unsettling, peculiar feeling, and with each slow blink, they widened progressively.

The bedroom was bright, with only the inner curtains drawn. He felt someone’s breath on his nape, where he lay facing the window, and a heavy arm draped across his waist.

From the firm chest pressed against his back, a scorching warmth emanated.

With a sense of dread, Do-ha lifted the blanket that was carelessly thrown over his lower body, biting down hard on his lower lip.

He desperately wanted to believe it wasn’t true, but only one possibility came to mind given the current circumstances.

He felt the firm chest pressed against him rise and fall steadily, and with each light breath that brushed his ear, the fragrant plum blossom scent enveloped him completely.

‘This is insane.’

The moment he tried to get out of bed as cautiously as possible, Do-ha stumbled and collapsed, a searing pain shooting up from his toes through his calves and thighs.

Furthermore, seeing his clothes haphazardly strewn on the floor beneath the bed, he bit back a curse that threatened to escape his lips.

Whatever the situation, driven by the thought of escaping before the sleeping man awoke, Do-ha frantically searched for his clothes and put them on.

Then, suppressing his fear, Do-ha looked at the bed and inadvertently released his tightly bitten lip.

Disheveled black hair lay across the white pillow, framing dark eyebrows. His deep-set eyes were tightly closed, shadowed by long lashes.

An Alpha, whose name and surname were unknown, possessed a perfect, celebrity-worthy appearance, now lay asleep.

The blanket, dislodged by Do-ha’s escape, had fallen to the man’s waist, revealing his muscular, firm upper body at a glance.

Do-ha’s face instantly flushed crimson as he gazed at the broad shoulders and the chest that subtly rose and fell with each breath.

Scattered across his shoulders and chest were reddish, circular marks, somewhat out of place against his handsomely sun-kissed skin.

Shifting his gaze to the long scratch on the man’s forearm, Do-ha involuntarily looked down at his own fingertips.

He recalled the hot, firm skin he had felt beneath his hands, and how, overwhelmed by pleasure too intense to bear, he had instinctively bitten and sucked on the man’s shoulders and chest.

A subtle tremor began deep within his body, and his heart started to pound faster. Without hesitation, Do-ha turned and exited the room.

****

Exiting the hotel, which was situated above the club where he had spent the previous night, Do-ha climbed into a waiting taxi, leaned back in the rear seat, and closed his eyes.

Overwhelmed by the unbearable situation and physical agony, Do-ha, slumped in the seat, let out a deep sigh.

“Jin… Jin… Jin! Jin!!”

Someone’s name still echoed in his ears.

The handsome Alpha had called him Jin all night, with a desperation and intensity that was truly heartbreaking.

It had been so mind-blowingly good that he hadn’t had the presence of mind to argue at the time, but how could anyone mistake him for an ex-lover, no matter what?

And he had clearly stated his name was ‘Do-ha.’

The previous night, a birthday party had been held to celebrate his 24th year.

Swept up in the atmosphere and intoxicated by alcohol, he had experienced s*x for the very first time in his life.

The problem was that his partner was an Alpha whose name and surname he didn’t even know, and who clearly hadn’t forgotten his ex-lover.

Do-ha’s brow furrowed as he tried to piece together the chaotic and hazy memories of the previous night.

Feeling stuffy and overwhelmed by the noise, he had left the room to get some fresh air. As he was about to exit the club, his eyes met with a man standing by the entrance.

The moment Do-ha saw the man, who embodied his ideal type, he found himself embracing him as if in a trance.

Feeling the man’s firm body and warm temperature, a stark contrast to the cold outdoor air, Do-ha moistened his dry lips with his tongue.

In that instant, the man’s previously indifferent and cold gaze transformed.

They hadn’t exchanged many words, it seemed. After a kiss, they had proceeded to the adjacent hotel.

What followed was, quite literally, a carnival of flesh.

“This is insane, Seo Do-ha. You must be truly out of your mind.”

Mumbling to himself in self-loathing, Do-ha’s voice was hoarse, emitting only a breathy sound, so he simply covered his face with both hands.

The area between his buttocks felt fiery and raw, as if still holding something hot, and both his nipples throbbed painfully where his soft, thin cotton T-shirt brushed against them.

From his waist to his inner thighs, calves, and even his forearms, muscles he rarely used screamed in unfamiliar agony.

Catching the taxi driver’s strange glances in the rearview mirror, Do-ha looked down at himself, muttered a curse, and pulled his leather jacket tighter.

Above the neckline of his T-shirt, his collarbones were visible, along with red marks scattered across his chest.

Do-ha stopped thinking deeply and closed his eyes. What more was there to ponder?

It was an unexpected one-night stand, something he hadn’t intended to have. A fleeting night of passion.

“Hey, you crazy bastard. I thought you were missing! Seriously, if you’d been an hour later, I would’ve told your family and filed a missing person’s report!”

Do-ha entered the bathroom, listening to Jia’s coarse curses.

If his friend Jia, who had been partying with him, had disappeared and not returned home by 11 AM, wouldn’t he have also informed the family, called the police, and done everything possible?

Jia’s nagging and curses filtered through the bathroom door, but Do-ha, crouching under the warm spray of the shower, closed his eyes.

Aside from the physical pain, the man’s face kept appearing, the one who had continuously called out another’s name. It felt as if he was still touching, kissing, and exploring his body.

After finally composing himself and standing, Do-ha scrubbed his body with a lathered shower puff, letting out a long sigh.

Both his nipples tingled painfully the moment the foam touched them, making him writhe. As the white, fluffy bubbles faded, the messy marks all over his body were clearly revealed.

“Where were you and what were you doing—”

“I’m exhausted. I’ll sleep first and listen to your nagging or curses later.”

Do-ha, dressed in a shower gown, exited the bathroom, walked past Jia who had stopped nagging and was stammering, and entered his own room.

“Oh, listen to that voice. Did you have all the s*x in the world by yourself? I swear, I’m going to find every Alpha who was at the club yesterday! And didn’t you say it was your first time? Well, even if you did say it was your first time, if he’s the type to have a one-night stand… Ha, you really… Are you making me go buy emergency contraception? You crazy bastard.”

Do-ha had said he was going to sleep, but moments later, Jia entered without knocking, nagging him like a machine gun and forcing him to sit up. Do-ha offered a weak smile.

A pill and a cup of water. Choose one or the other.

If you’re going to scold and nag, then do that. If you’re going to worry, then just worry.

Listening to Jia’s now-familiar curses, Do-ha turned his back to her and lay sideways on the bed.

“Are you crazy? Why are you smiling? Why? Was it good? So good you could die?”

Jia’s hand, hitting his back, was so sharp it seemed she was genuinely angry. Do-ha quickly pulled the blanket over his head, unable to answer.

Well, he had done wrong, hadn’t he?

And if he were to honestly say, “It was so good I could die. If I’d known it would be this good, I wouldn’t have checked into the hospital every heat. I would’ve met an Alpha instead,” he felt Jia would beat him to death.

“Ugh. Seriously, what kind of guy was he? He completely chewed you up.”

Jia pulled at the back of his shirt, then let go, muttering to herself. Only after she left did Do-ha close his eyes.

Whatever it was, he just wanted to sleep now, without a single thought.
