Part 1, TS Regression: Everyone is Surprisingly Kind.
What is common sense?
There are various opinions on its definition, but it usually refers to the knowledge or judgment that an average person should possess.
And this common sense often serves as a standard, becoming a basis for judgment in various social events.
“This is insane.”
Common sense is truly important.
People assume that things in the world operate within the bounds of common sense.
And when something outside of common sense happens, it’s called an incident.
This goddamn situation was clearly an incident.
A bed adorned with frills.
A doll placed at the head of the bed.
And walls decorated in pink, along with children’s furniture.
“Ha, f*ck.”
A high, delicate voice, typical of a young girl, flowed from my lips.
When I lowered my gaze, a pink dress-like pajama came into view.
Those pajamas were somehow worn on my body, which seemed to have become much shorter.
Unable to bear the sight, I raised my head.
‘It must be a dream.’
According to the surrounding situation and the information my eyes took in, I was now a young girl.
And in my memories, I was originally a 27-year-old man.
27 years old.
I had completed my military service as a sergeant and graduated from university with excellent grades.
And I was just about to gain practical experience at my father’s company to inherit the management rights.
Yes, that was the original me.
This perverse dream must surely be due to the accumulated fatigue from not resting properly recently.
I slowly got up from the spot.
Even after standing on the bed with both feet, my vision hadn’t changed much.
‘If it’s a dream, I’ll wake up soon.’
My cheek somehow felt numb.
Can there be pain in a dream?
No, this is proof that I’ll wake up from sleep soon.
I slowly walked to the edge of the bed.
If it were a pleasant dream, I might enjoy it a little.
But it was impossible to enjoy a dream where I had become a girl, let alone a young girl.
I bent my knees slightly, then jumped with all my might.
Perhaps it was a good bed; the mattress’s rebound force flung my body upwards.
Because of that, I lost my balance in the air, and my upper body tilted forward.
The lower half of my body was already completely off the bed.
If I fell like this, it would definitely hurt quite a bit.
If this were reality, that is.
*Thud*
“Aargh!”
It hurt terribly.
Especially my already numb cheek felt like it would tear off as it hit the floor.
Tears welled up.
Normally, I wouldn’t cry from this much pain, but I couldn’t stop the tears from flowing.
“Waaah!”
In the end, I couldn’t hold it in and burst into tears.
“Oh, did our Soan hurt a lot? There, there, it’s alright now.”
When my tears finally stopped and I came to my senses, I found myself in the arms of my somehow younger mother.
My mother was soothing and comforting me with a gentle voice.
Her voice somehow gave me goosebumps, and I couldn’t help but struggle.
“Why is she acting like this?”
Finally, my mother, unable to bear it, put me down on the bed.
Only then did I notice my younger father quietly looking down at me from behind my mother.
“Should we take her to the hospital?”
“I’ll call the driver.”
My father curtly said a word to my mother and left the room.
“She’s usually such a quiet child, why is she suddenly playing on the bed…”
My mother slowly approached me and extended her hand.
I swiftly dodged her hand and furiously worked my short legs, running back to the edge of the bed.
Neither this body nor these parents could possibly be real.
I had to escape this terrible nightmare as soon as possible.
Without hesitation, I leapt off the bed at full running speed.
My body soared to an incomparable height compared to before.
Behind me, my younger mother’s scream echoed.
Farewell.
You filthy nightmare.
I struck the pose the protagonist took when flying in a superhero movie I watched as a child.
*CRASH*
With a sound incomparably louder than before, my consciousness flew away.
