Chapter 1: The Little Dragon Loli and the Avenging Succubus

A childlike dragon’s roar echoed through the heavens.

Instantly, flocks of birds and beasts scattered throughout the forest, as if a certain vampire had lifted a manhole cover only to behold an invincible star.

“So this is how dragons roar,” a voice mused.

From the direction of the sound, a tiny dragon loli gazed around her unfamiliar surroundings with a bewildered expression.

The little loli stood barely 1.3 meters tall, her flowing silver hair cascading over her smooth, rounded shoulders.

Her tender, round face was both adorable and petite.

Though her eyes were beastly red vertical pupils, they held no hint of danger; instead, they were wide and round, mirroring her small mouth.

A pair of delicate dragon horns adorned her head.

From her back sprouted a set of tender pink, fleshy wings, reminiscent of a newborn chick’s.

Beneath her simple white dress, a silver-white tail, much like a lizard’s, extended.

Most endearingly, a single strand of ‘ahoge’ hair sprung from her head, swaying playfully, a perfect touch to her exquisite cuteness.

Who could have imagined that this adorable dragon loli had been an ordinary high school student just minutes earlier, on her way to an internet café for a gaming session?

“Ah, yes, yes, yes! I do like lolis, but to be turned into one after being run over by a car… this is truly wonderful~!”

The Dragon Princess luxuriated in stroking her soft body, her hand gliding downwards.

As her hand reached the lower part of her body, a book slipped from beneath her skirt.

“Guh? What’s this?”

She initially assumed it was some kind of beginner’s guide for her transmigration.

However, upon picking it up…

“‘Raising Young Dragons and Postnatal Care’? Wh-what in the world is this?”

The Dragon Princess paid it no mind, tossing the item casually aside.

She then resumed what she was doing.

Before long, the Dragon Princess lay flushed and limp on the damp ground.

She couldn’t get up again!

After resting for a while, the Dragon Princess resolved to explore this new world.

‘It would be wonderful if I could meet a beautiful older sister!’ she mused.

Given that she had transformed into a Dragon Princess, she reasoned this world must be extraordinary.

The Dragon Princess discovered many strange and peculiar plants.

Her stomach rumbling, she still harbored thoughts of eating them.

However, upon pulling them out, she found they contained green or purple liquids, making it instantly clear these things were absolutely inedible!

After wandering for most of the morning, the Dragon Princess was utterly famished.

She felt that if she encountered any humans now, she might even be able to beg for some food.

Thus, she settled beneath a tree, patiently waiting for something to come her way.

In a sinister forest, a group of black-clad figures had surrounded a black-haired maiden.

At a glance, the black-haired maiden was clearly not human.

A pair of small purple wings adorned her head, fluttering gently with each breath, and her ears were pointed like an elf’s.

From beneath her purple-black short skirt extended a slender tail tipped with a heart shape.

The maiden was a succubus.

Her skin was as fair as snow, and her chest was as ample as a gourd.

Her tall figure, coupled with her black and purple attire, gave her an alluring, almost demonic aura.

One of the black-clad men began to harbor impure thoughts.

“Boss, Yao Yueli is the last succubus in our nation! It would be such a waste to kill her! What if we…”

“Are you courting death?!”

A black-clad man nearby slapped the guy, sending him flying, and roared in fury:

“To do such a thing with a succubus! Even if all ten of us went at her, we’d all walk out with wobbly legs!”

Succubi were descended from true succubi; by absorbing others’ bodily fluids, they could rapidly grow stronger.

Should that happen, with her power surging and theirs waning, they would surely be counter-killed!

“Lads, don’t hesitate! Kill her, and we’ll receive a hundred times the usual bounty.

Who needs pretty girls then? Hehehe! Attack!”

At their leader’s command, everyone’s spirits soared, and they charged forward in unison.

“Such a hefty bounty… it seems the one who wants me dead has no small background! Besides the Glorious Moon Royal Family, it must be one of the Three Great Families!”

Yao Yueli struggled against her attackers, her voice chilling.

“What if you’ve guessed? Today marks your demise!”

A black-clad man sneered, then raised a great saber and brought it down.

Yao Yueli parried with her rapier, only for it to be cleanly severed!

“A Silver-grade Magic Tool! It seems they spared no expense to kill me!”

Yao Yueli coughed up a mouthful of blood; a Magic Tool User’s tool, when destroyed, would inflict a backlash on its owner.

This also confirmed her suspicion: within the Glorious Moon Kingdom, aside from the Royal Family, no one else could command such resources as to wield a Silver-grade Magic Tool.

There was no longer any need to conceal her strength.

Yao Yueli wiped the blood from the corner of her mouth, then placed her hand over her chest.

Slowly, she drew forth a longsword crackling with purple and white lightning.

“You mere four-star Magic Tool Users dare to assassinate me?! Die!”

Wielding the longsword, Yao Yueli’s aura surged.

With a swift lunge, she instantly cut down two men.

The purple shadow flashed once more, leaving a trail of the black-clad men’s miserable screams in its wake.

“A Magic Tool that can be integrated into the body… this is a Dragon Magic Tool! The Succubus Clan’s Thunder Dragon Sword… it’s actually in your hands…”

The last black-clad man’s face contorted with terror, and he turned to flee.

A Dragon Magic Tool was a weapon coveted by every Magic Tool User; the entire Glorious Moon Royal Family possessed only three such artifacts!

Had they known Yao Yueli possessed a Dragon Magic Tool, even with ten times their courage, they would never have dared to assassinate her here!

“Trying to run? Flash Thunder!”

Suddenly, a purple lightning sword shadow shot forth; the fleeing black-clad man possessed no such speed!

Almost as soon as Yao Yueli’s words ended, the black-clad man was pierced through and fell dead.

“It’s a good thing I concealed my true strength; otherwise, if the Glorious Moon Royal Family had sent a five-star Magic Tool User, I would surely have perished here today!”

The maiden stood amidst the pooling blood, her gaze cold and indifferent.

The Glorious Moon Empire was a nation where humans and demi-demons coexisted.

The Succubus Clan had once been one of the Four Great Families of the Glorious Moon Empire!

However, a year prior, during a campaign by the Glorious Moon Empire, the Royal Family’s erroneous and aggressive judgment led to the Succubus Clan being trapped by the enemy.

Ultimately, only she had managed to escape.

Upon her return a year later, she discovered that the Glorious Moon Royal Family had not only shifted the blame for the war’s defeat onto the Succubus Clan but had also confiscated all of their family’s assets!

Had Yao Yueli not possessed the backing of a powerful teacher, she would likely have been treated as a criminal and executed alongside the rest.

Though her life was spared, the Glorious Moon Royal Family was determined to eradicate the Succubus Clan entirely.

Now, they had even dispatched over a dozen four-star Magic Tool Users to assassinate her!

Fortunately, Yao Yueli had kept the existence of her Thunder Dragon Sword a secret.

“Glorious Moon Royal Family! Sooner or later, I will kill every last one of you!”

Yao Yueli gritted her teeth; it was undeniable that her entire family had been destroyed by the Glorious Moon Royal Family.

“Those demi-demons and humans are just not strong enough!”

Yao Yueli lowered her head in disappointment.

Her Succubus Clan, descended from true succubi, required the absorption of others’ bodily fluids upon reaching adulthood to grow stronger.

The more powerful the magic of the person absorbed, the stronger she would become.

However, in this nation, few met her stringent requirements.

While a few individuals might have sufficed, with the Glorious Moon Royal Family suppressing them, who would dare to form a contract with her?

‘If only there were a dragon for me to absorb from~’

Yao Yueli shook her head, then began searching the bodies of the fallen for anything valuable.

Having returned from the battlefield, and with all her family’s assets confiscated, she was now utterly penniless.

Forget avenging her family against the Glorious Moon Royal Family; she barely had enough money for a night’s lodging.

Just as Yao Yueli was gathering her spoils, she suddenly heard strange sounds echoing from a distance.

‘And such peculiar cries…’

“What in the world is that wailing?”

Her curiosity piqued, Yao Yueli quickly collected all her loot.

She then sprinted towards the source of the sound.

The Dragon Princess let out a soft cry.

‘My hands just couldn’t resist, sigh!’

Having indulged herself once more, her head felt light and dizzy.

‘If this continues, I’ll surely pass out! Then I’ll just be waiting to be eaten by wild beasts!’

“A dragon?”

Yao Yueli arrived swiftly, her eyes widening as she beheld the little Dragon Princess leaning against the tree.

“B-big sister! Hungry~ Hugs~ Food~”

Seeing someone approach, the Dragon Princess latched onto the sight like a drowning person grasping a lifeline, and with her last reserves of strength, she lunged towards Yao Yueli!
