“Goo-goo-ga-ga, goo-goo-ga-ga…”
“Hmmn. Forgot to turn off the alarm…”
“Su Cheng, hurry and turn off your alarm.”
“There’s a sixty-six (idiot) who didn’t turn off their alarm.”
Su Cheng reached for her phone by her pillow, turning off the alarm without even opening her eyes.
The dormitory immediately fell silent, but Su Cheng opened her eyes and stayed awake.
She stared at the date on her phone screen, unable to calm down for a long time.
Time: September 1, 2021, 7:30 AM.
She still hadn’t fully accepted the reality of being sent back four years to the start of school, and what was even more unbelievable was that she, Su Cheng, originally a man, was now sleeping soundly in a girls’ dormitory.
It was quite preposterous.
The person who sent Su Cheng back four years was her ex-girlfriend.
On the day she graduated and left the university gates, she unexpectedly received a knife from an ex-girlfriend, ending her life in the previous world.
But she couldn’t remember which one it was, due to having too many ex-girlfriends and some memory loss from returning to the past.
It wasn’t surprising; Su Cheng was a scumbag in her previous life, and she had long anticipated such an ending.
After enjoying the emotional value provided by the other party, once the novelty wore off, she would immediately delete them as a friend and block them.
Although she didn’t swindle much money, she did hurt the soft, delicate hearts of those young girls.
Perhaps this was heaven’s punishment for her.
However, Su Cheng, on the contrary, didn’t think becoming a girl was a bad thing.
At least the roommates in her dorm were very pleasing to the eye every day.
Hm? Why are there group chat messages on VX?
Out of curiosity, she opened V to check unread messages. She hadn’t joined many groups, only the new class group.
“[ @everyone Today, at 9 AM, we have the Freshman Opening Ceremony and Military Training Mobilization Meeting. Please attend on time. Students who see this, please inform each other. ]”
This message, @mentioning everyone, was from their new class monitor, Lin Shiyue.
“She’s still the class monitor, huh.” Su Cheng whispered to herself, a slight curve forming at the corner of her lips as she looked at the screen.
Although she knew Lin Shiyue had been elected yesterday during the class cadre elections, she still wanted to express her feelings.
The name Lin Shiyue was not unfamiliar; she was one of the top beauties at Xihua University and also Su Cheng’s first girlfriend in her previous life.
Back then, to get closer to her, she even ran for a class cadre position, all for better communication.
But this time, Su Cheng didn’t run for a class cadre position, nor did she have any designs on Lin Shiyue.
The current Lin Shiyue didn’t even know her, so it might be better to choose a world where they remained parallel lines.
At least Su Cheng wouldn’t have to see Lin Shiyue crying like a pear blossom in the rain when they broke up.
Alas, the fallen flowers long for the water, but the flowing water is indifferent.
Thinking about it now, she was indeed quite the scumbag.
“Oh, sisters, we have to attend the opening ceremony at nine. Aren’t you going to get up and get ready?”
“Go, go, go, go somewhere cool and wait. It’s only a little past seven, plenty of time.”
“No rush, no rush, let’s sleep a bit more.”
It seemed her two roommates didn’t want to get up, so Su Cheng, unable to sleep, had no choice but to get ready.
When she said ‘get ready,’ she merely meant using a comb to straighten her snow-white hair; she didn’t know how to do makeup at all.
In front of the mirror, the snow-haired girl yawned languidly, her azure eyes, like a clear spring, shining brightly beneath long, dark, curled lashes.
Beneath her delicate, high nose was a pair of cherry-pink lips, still bearing a faint trace of drool, suggesting she’d had a wonderful dream last night.
The only thing Su Cheng found regrettable was her slightly undulating chest, which wasn’t as large as she’d hoped.
But there’s a saying: small is also cute; at least it’s convenient for exercise, and you don’t need to wear those mature bras, just a bustier.
She could accept it mentally, at least.
After washing up and simply tying her hair into a single ponytail, her two roommates also woke up.
Sun Xiaochen scratched her hair, a few dark strands clinging to the corner of her mouth, “Su Cheng, what time is it?”
Su Cheng looked at her phone and replied truthfully, “Eight-twenty. You have thirty minutes left.”
“Oh no, why didn’t you wake me up earlier?” Chen Xi, the brown-haired girl, suddenly sprang from her bed, glaring with a hint of resentment at the calm Su Cheng.
“Sister Xi Xi, don’t blame me for not reminding you, I called both of you earlier.”
Su Cheng’s explanation was merely sophistry in Chen Xi’s eyes; if there were more time, she would surely debate with her.
However, Su Cheng didn’t give her a chance to argue, grabbing her phone and rushing out the door.
“Hey, this little girl runs so fast.” Chen Xi grumbled before climbing out of bed.
Having closed the door, Su Cheng’s mouth slightly agape, she let out a sigh of relief.
The reason for her slight nervousness was seeing the roommates’ “洶湧澎湃” (turbulent and surging, implying large breasts).
For Su Cheng, who had only ever kissed in her previous life, directly facing her two roommates in their waking, pajama-clad state still caused a slight thrill.
So, she still needed time to get used to it.
“Su Cheng?”
“Huh?!”
Her just-calmed emotions were instantly disrupted by the sudden voice behind her.
The voice was clear and melodious, like dew drops falling on a jade plate on a summer morning, making Su Cheng’s heart pound, almost leaping out of her chest.
It was Lin Shiyue.
Su Cheng slowly turned around, a slight stiffness in her movements, as if her joints were rusted.
The morning sunlight in the hallway slanted in through the window at the end, outlining the familiar yet unfamiliar figure at the doorway.
Lin Shiyue stood there, wearing a simple, clean white T-shirt and light blue jeans, her long hair smoothly draped over her shoulders, a few stray strands brushing across her smooth forehead.
Her brows and eyes were still as exquisite as a painting, her gaze clear, and the sunlight cast a soft golden edge around her, making her appear as pristine as a newly finished masterpiece.
This scene brought Su Cheng back to the rainy night of their breakup, to the girl whose eyes were swollen red from crying, trembling as she questioned him.
The same clothes, the same person, a different time.
The stark contrast was like a fine needle, unexpectedly pricking the deepest corner of Su Cheng’s heart, the one labeled “guilt.”
She unconsciously held her breath, feeling her throat tighten slightly.
“Good morning,” Lin Shiyue took two steps closer, her gaze falling on Su Cheng’s somewhat flustered face, which showed her nervousness, “I just saw you rush out, and thought something was wrong. What’s up? You look pale.”
Her voice was gentle, the pure concern of a stranger for a classmate, untainted by any familiar emotions from Su Cheng’s deepest memories.
This pure, unadulterated concern, ironically, made Su Cheng even more at a loss.
She opened her mouth, trying to force out a “nothing” smile, but found her lips stiff.
Her azure eyes instinctively avoided Lin Shiyue’s probing gaze, settling on the cracks in the floor tiles.
“N-nothing.”
Su Cheng finally found her voice, with a subtle tremor that was hard to detect. She cleared her throat, trying to make her tone sound normal, her fingers unconsciously twisting the hem of her clothes.
“Want to go eat breakfast together?”
A faint smile appeared on Lin Shiyue’s face, awaiting the white-haired girl’s response.
Her gaze lingered for a moment on Su Cheng’s striking snow-white hair and overly beautiful face, with a purely appreciative look.
The clean, fair-skinned white-haired girl was indeed adorable.
“Y-yes, if Class Monitor Lin doesn’t mind, I have no problem.”
Su Cheng mustered her courage to meet her gaze, but quickly looked away again, feeling guilty.
“Just call me Shiyue, we’re all classmates,” Lin Shiyue’s smile deepened, making her seem very approachable.
“By the way, where are your other roommates? Are they all up? I sent a notice in the group this morning, I’m worried someone might not have seen it.”
“They should be almost ready.” Su Cheng pointed to the dormitory door behind her, from which the faint sounds of Chen Xi and Sun Xiaochen frantically tidying up could be heard.
“That’s good. Let’s go quickly, we’ll be late soon.”
“Eh…”
Su Cheng, completely unprepared, was taken by the hand by Lin Shiyue and led downstairs.
The warm, familiar touch on her palm, the faint scent of the girl’s hair mingling with the breeze, permeated Su Cheng’s heart.
Memories became clear; she had experienced this scene many times.
But as soon as she thought of what she had done to her, the light in her eyes dimmed, covered by a thin mist of guilt.
In this life, she must not hurt her again.
