Chapter 16: There’s no way this could be real

A strange tension filled the room.

Leaving Leticia, who was letting out an incomprehensible laugh, behind, I pretended to be calm and nonchalantly

stroked my lips, which were still moist with saliva.

The sticky saliva stretched like a thread along my hand, but that wasn’t my concern. The mana that filled my mouth

for a moment and then disappeared was definitely Leticia’s mana. Surprisingly, the contract between her and me was

definitely established.

‘…Isn’t it a strong contract that binds souls together?’

Well, there’s no need to make such a strong contract.

Nevertheless, it was not a weak bond. It felt like a chain made of mana, neither too strong nor too weak, was wrapped

around my body.

Also, I can feel Leticia’s mana and my mana connected. Others might think this is nonsense, but I could see it clearly.

The connection point with her. It seemed that the contract details were also faithfully fulfilled.

The quest, which appeared at some point and only I could see, clearly stated the contents of the contract between me and Leticia.

[Main Quest: Contract with Leticia (CLEAR)]

[Summoner (Leticia Lisyantus) wants a contract. Make a contract with the summoner.]

[Reward: Increased intimacy with Leticia, stat points and skill points +5 each]

[Failure: Return to the Abyss]

Both the reward and the failure were shocking. Return to the abyss. I don’t know how I’ll be returned, but I don’t

think it’ll be a good way.

Anyway, to briefly summarize the contract with Leticia, it was like this.

Stay by Leticia’s side for a year.

In return, a room for me to stay in for a year and Leticia’s blood whenever I need it.

These two were the rewards and considerations Leticia wanted. In a way, it was a contract that prioritized me more

than the summoner, Leticia.

Of course, it’s not that I don’t like it, and the intention of staying by her side is to use me in some way, so it was a

contract that could be seen as reasonable at first glance.

‘She’ll want to use the knowledge only demons have, or use me as a maid, so she’ll use me in some way.’

So there’s no need to worry about Leticia, saying that the contract details are poor. She is a secretly quite vicious

person, so she never makes a contract that is disadvantageous to her. This time too, she must have had something in

mind, so she made such a contract with me, who she’s seeing for the first time, and a demon at that.

There’s no way she would commit a taboo like demon summoning for no reason. The one who should be worried

about the future life is me.

Honestly, it wasn’t bad to be unexpectedly kissed by Leticia. No, rather, I felt good. How can I not feel good about

doing anything with the woman I loved until the end?

Besides, it’s not like we haven’t gone all the way, so there’s no reason to be flustered by a mere kiss.

I guess the only surprising thing is that Leticia readily kissed me. Even though there were many ways to make a

contract, Leticia chose the contract method of exchanging saliva through a deep kiss.

Is it because they are not of the opposite s*x, but of the same s*x, that they have no qualms about kissing each other?

Maybe she didn’t like the way vampires make contracts.

This is just a contract, a healthy contract that doesn’t involve personal requests….

“It seems like it has a slight peach flavor. It’s sweet, I want to eat it again.”

…Right?

“You’re saying that in front of the person involved.”

“I said it for you to hear. I think I’ll be borrowing your lips a lot in the future, so I’m just marking my territory.”

“…What.”

I’ve never heard of a lip reservation system. Leticia, who confidently declared that I was hers, wiped her lips, which

were moist with saliva, with the back of her hand and smiled bewitchingly, as if she were possessed.

It was a bewitching smile that would make anyone say that she was a succubus, not me. I wonder if this is what it

feels like to be seduced by a fox spirit.

“Since the contract is over and I’m the master, I think I can do whatever I want.”

“Master, what master. Stop talking nonsense.”

A contract is a kind of business. Even if we become master and servant, that doesn’t change. Master and s*ave.

Doesn’t the word sound a bit bad? And it was a little awkward to continue dating Leticia in this form.

Should I say that I can’t accept it? Should I say that I can’t imagine doing it with a woman? The reality is that I still

feel repulsed. It’s an early story for me, who is not used to being a woman, let alone taking the lead.

“Why? If you volunteered to be my maid, you should call me master. If possible, I prefer master to mistress.”

Leticia, who was laughing as if she was dying of laughter, looked at my rotten expression.

“Your face is full of dislike. I like that you’re honest, but I have no intention of changing it, so go back.”

“…There was no such thing in the contract…!”

“There was. Probably? Well, if you don’t want to wear a maid outfit, you don’t have to.”

“…?”

“Instead, I’ll put a dog collar around your white and slender neck and drag you around. How about that, isn’t that

enough to show that you’re mine?”

Refusal is refused. Leticia’s opinion was firm. To the point where I felt that it would be more comfortable to die and

return to the abyss. In the first place, she wouldn’t let me go back easily.

Will I obediently wear a maid outfit, or will I wear a dog collar around my neck and follow Leticia’s back, enduring

the shame? The answer was obvious between the two.

I lightly clicked my tongue, tsk, so that Leticia could hear, and said.

“I’ll wear the maid outfit.”

“You made a good choice.”

Seeing Leticia’s face, who smiled satisfactorily for the first time, made me, who had a sullen mood, hate myself. Yeah.

Let’s think of it as similar to a girlfriend cosplaying as an event for her boyfriend’s birthday.

I looked at Leticia, who was holding my arm and looking around, muttering, ‘Your chest seems to be similar to mine.

It’s quite big. Then the maid outfit size should be about this size…’, with a fed-up face.

“So what’s the real reason you called me? The contract can’t be just this.”

It’s a contract that says to just stay by her side. Sitting on the bed and crossing my legs, I asked as if interrogating,

and Leticia answered as if it were obvious.

“I mean staying by my side means borrowing your head. I have a friend who is cursed with a curse that can’t be cured

without borrowing the knowledge of demons.”

“…A curse?”

“Yes, a curse. It’s a curse that a pure-blood demon put on, and there’s something strange mixed in, so my magic

knowledge has reached its limit.”

My pupils shook for a moment at Leticia’s words, which added that she was cursed with something similar to the

curse of an ancient relic, which is often used in fictional novels, and I gritted my teeth.

“……Ha, if it’s a matter that the wise sage of the noble hero’s party has to step in, is it a pretty close person?”

“We were comrades who shared life and death, so of course we’re close.”

Comrades who shared life and death. Judging from the fact that she said friends, it was unlikely to be someone like

the emperor or a high-ranking noble. But comrades who shared life and death. There are only three people Leticia

can call comrades, including me.

The hero Leo, the saintess Chloe, and the archer Irina, who is not close and has a dirty personality, but could be

trusted. There were a total of three.

I narrowed my eyes and looked at Leticia with a subtle face, and I asked.

“Comrades who shared life and death. There aren’t many people the sage can call comrades. Well, did one of the

hero’s party get cursed?

“Uh.”

“…Male or female?”

“That’s a secret.”

I asked, thinking that if it was a man, it would be the hero, and if it was a woman, it would be one of the saintess and

the archer, but Leticia chose to keep her mouth shut. I let out a hollow laugh, dumbfounded by Leticia’s actions, who

said the most important thing was a secret.

“Even though we made a contract, are you hiding information about your comrades?”

“I trust you, but the ‘you’ I know and the ‘you’ now may be different. Contract and trust are separate.”

“…Even if I have to tell you the gender to guess?”

“Except for my comrades, this is a top-secret matter that only the emperor, the pope, and the academy principal

know. And the person is coming this way… um, it’s almost time.”

There was no time to ask who. As the sound of knocking on the door lightly was heard from outside the door, knock

knock, I looked at Leticia’s smiling face, saying that she arrived right on time, with a look of disgust.

‘Did you call the person who was cursed to the academy?’

That prediction was correct.

“Leticia.”

A soft and beautiful voice is heard. Judging from the voice, which is presumed to be a woman, it’s not Leo, so I look

at the door with a tense face.

Then it means it’s one of Chloe or Irina. It was not a good feeling to have to see a comrade I was meeting after a long

time, who had shared life and death on the battlefield, cursed.

“I’ll open it.”

I hope it’s not a serious curse. Judging from Leticia’s words and actions, which she said lightly, it didn’t seem like a

very serious curse.

However, if it’s a curse that she tried to cure by summoning a demon….

I was pacing around the room, getting up from the bed while having all sorts of delusions, when I found a small

envelope on Leticia’s desk containing a short black hair.

“This is.”

It looked more like a man’s hair than a woman’s hair, no matter how I looked at it.

It looks like my hair when I was Damian Radius.

I was muttering that it was a familiar envelope, holding that small envelope in my hand, when I heard the sound of

the door opening and the footsteps getting closer, so I hurriedly put the envelope down on the desk.

When I turned my head and looked forward, Leticia and a blonde woman I had never seen before were standing side

by side. I made a puzzled face. The reason was that a woman I had never seen before was standing there, unlike

Leticia’s words that a comrade who had shared life and death was cursed.

“Who is that?”

“The comrade I told you about, who shared life and death.”

I thought it was a comrade who fought together for a while, but the only person with such burning blonde hair was

Leo. I don’t think it’s Leo, so I was relieved, and I looked at the blonde woman with a crooked expression.

I didn’t like her gaze, so the woman, who frowned with one eyebrow, said to Leticia as if complaining.

“What, Leticia. Did you really summon?”

“Don’t worry, we made a proper contract. And she’s absolutely obedient to me. Right, Charlotte?”

At Leticia’s question, which naturally called me by my name, I nodded with a sigh, and Leticia smiled. I wonder if my

obedient appearance was strange. The woman raised her hand to her chin with an expression that said it was

interesting.

“A demon? No. Did you say a demon? You’re amazing, Leticia. Did you tame a demon now?”

“Restrain the expression of taming. Because I’m not a pet.”

“Huh, you’re good at speaking the imperial language. It seems that it’s true that you summoned a fairly high-level demon, Leticia.”

“You have no manners, even though it’s our first meeting.”

“Ah, and I didn’t introduce myself.”

It was beautiful to see her scratching her head with an awkward expression, but it was strangely annoying that it

resembled Leo, so it was more annoying. This is natural. Because I’m overlapping the friend I was closest to in this

world with a woman I’m seeing for the first time.

Thanks to that, I didn’t even dream that this was correct.

“I’ll introduce you. This side is commonly called Leah, but her real name is Leo Starfield. It’s easy to understand if I

explain that she’s a (former) hero.”

“Even in this form, I’m still a former hero.”

At the appearance of Leo, who smiled with a troubled expression, rolling his red eyes, I barely held on to my mind,

which had almost fainted this time.

Just a heads up, when I pasted this chapter into Word the paragraphs read as broken.
