Chapter 18: East Seras

East Seras split from the original nation of Seras.

Originally, it shared the same roots as Seras, but later sought to ally with the powerful Northern Mong Empire, and thus betrayed its homeland.

Its economy is not strong, but after seceding, it urgently sought Northern Mong protection.

Through cooperation with the Northern Mong Empire, its economy did not collapse completely.

Yet within this partially restored economy, its military occupies the largest share — a tradition inherited from the Northern Mong Empire through their cooperation.

For its own benefit, East Seras abandoned its brethren of the same origin.

In the past, Seras suffered greatly due to repeated provocations from East Seras.

However, after several reforms and relocations of government systems, the Democratic Republic of Seras became a strong nation capable of resisting the Northern Mong Empire.

Seras’ overall strength now matches or slightly exceeds that of the Northern Mong Empire, especially economically, where it even crushes Northern Mong.

Looking back now, one wonders whether East Seras regrets betraying its brother nation.
