Chapter 19 Volume 2: Author Introduction

Maher Paraguay, a famous Transcendence-sect poet of Siam-Tianzhu.

He believes that all deities will bless humanity in different ways, and although he opposes pagans, he still believes they will eventually repent — a complex stance.

He entered monastic life at a young age, later returned to secular society to spread his ideas, chose lifelong celibacy so that after death he may receive divine favor and guide all beings to transcendence.

At age twenty, he began writing Selected Poems of Salvation: The Night Before Dawn, considered the prototype of Selected Poems of Salvation, later compiled into the chapter Origin of the World · Illusions of the Gods.

Paraguay is not only a religious envoy of the Transcendence sect of Siam-Tianzhu, but also the spiritual leader of the vegetarians of Siam-Tianzhu.
