Chapter 2: The Righteous Sword Saint

Leon let out a breath, the cold air forming mist as it left his lungs.

Even though his body could handle freezing temperatures, it was still uncomfortable.

I’ve already worked things out with Mellen, so everything should go smoothly from here.

He continued walking toward the summit, his boots leaving deep footprints in the snow behind him.

By his estimate, he would reach the top just as everything wrapped up. By then, Fiora would officially be his s*ave.

Just thinking about it made Leon a little embarrassed, even though he didn’t have any dirty thoughts about Fiora.

I just need to explain it to her properly.

It’ll be fine, Leon…

He tried to calm himself, giving himself a mental pep talk.

On the outside, Leon looked like a cold, confident, and handsome man. But in truth, he was terrible at dealing with women—and he even had a fear of them.

Ever since he was young, Leon had always attracted attention.

With his outstanding talent and good looks, women had always surrounded him.

But that attention ended up being a curse. He had several bad experiences with women, and because of those incidents, he completely lost interest in them.

To protect himself, Leon started putting up a cold front, pouring everything he had into his training instead.

Ironically, the stronger he became, the more popular he got…

Surrounded by more and more women, Leon grew even more distant and withdrawn.

He convinced himself that he would die alone, never falling in love.

But that all changed four years ago.

Back then, Leon accepted an invitation from the Donghui Kingdom to join a group of top warriors on a mission to slay the “evil” Ice Dragon King—Fiora.

During that mission, one teammate after another was defeated.

And then, Fiora appeared in her true form—as a human.

That was the moment Leon fell in love at first sight.

Fiora is insanely cute. She’s got to be the number one cutest in the world.

Even now, whenever he thought back to that moment, his heart would flutter.

Every little thing about her was exactly his type.

And the fact that she wasn’t human but a dragon? That only made her more exciting to him.

Unlike the terrifying dragon from the rumors, Fiora didn’t kill anyone that day.

She let them live.

After returning to Donghui, Leon started investigating and realized something was off.

The whole “evil dragon” story was a lie—just a rumor spread by the Donghui Kingdom.

They were clearly up to something shady.

There was no way Leon could let the woman he secretly adored fall into their hands.

So, he dedicated himself to getting stronger, pushing himself to the limits again and again—all so he could protect her.

Now, after all that effort, Leon finally had the power to do it.

“I’ll definitely protect Fiora,” Leon said, clenching his rough, calloused hands.

Just a few days ago, Leon had learned that the Donghui Kingdom, with help from other nations, had formed an even stronger dragon-slaying team than the one from four years ago.

There wasn’t enough time to explain things to Fiora or persuade her. So, he came up with one last desperate plan: get to her first, forcefully take her somewhere safe, and then report to Donghui that he had already slain the Ice Dragon King.

“But she must think I’m the worst now…”

“She probably really hates me,” Leon muttered in frustration.

If his plan worked, Fiora would legally become his s*ave—and have to obey his every command.

Leon’s mind started to wander as he imagined it: he’d give her an order, and she’d fall into his arms, blushing, quietly undressing…

“No! I shouldn’t be thinking about this!”

Leon quickly activated his skill Mind Like Still Water, trying to suppress the flood of inappropriate thoughts.

“I swear, even if I jump off a cliff and die right now, I will never make Fiora do anything weird.”

——-

When he returned to the mountain peak, he saw Mellen and Fiora.

Fiora looked completely lifeless, staring at the s*ave contract like she had lost her soul.

Mellen spotted him and smiled, giving him a thumbs-up.

Leon immediately got the message.

As expected of an excellent butler—betraying his dim-witted master so easily.

NICE! he praised silently.

“Your Highness Fiora,” Mellen said, “this is a great opportunity for you to reflect on your faults and learn what it’s like at the bottom of society.”

“A leader who’s never experienced hardship can never truly be great.”

With that, Mellen turned and began walking back to the Frost Sanctum.

Leon’s heart was pounding like crazy.

He walked up to Fiora, doing his best to keep his emotions in check.

“Fiora, let’s go,” he said. “Starting today, you’re my s*ave.”

“Ah…”

Fiora looked up in a daze, her teary silver eyes locking with his.

She looked so helpless, so hurt, and so adorable that Leon felt like his heart would burst.

Damn it, she’s way too cute.

I want to hug her so badly.

Hooo, hooo… Calm down, Leon.

Don’t do anything creepy.

Don’t act like one of those gross lolicons.

You can’t let her think you’re worse than you already are.

“Are you unhappy about becoming a s*ave?” Leon asked in a flat, emotionless voice.

“…!”

Fiora’s face went pale as she stepped back in fear.

Leon immediately regretted it.

He had defaulted to the same cold tone he used with other women—completely forgetting how sensitive Fiora was right now.

But Leon had no idea how else to talk to women.

So he stopped trying to say anything fancy.

He just needed to get the message across—that she was safe, that he wasn’t going to hurt her.

“Don’t worry, Fiora.”

“From now on, you don’t need to worry about anything.”

“Just follow me and do as I say, and you can live happily without having to think about anything ever again.”

There was a long pause.

Then Fiora asked weakly, “…Are you a lolicon?”

This was it.

The most important dialogue choice had arrived.

Leon had read enough dirty novels to know—how he answered this question would change everything.

If he said yes, he’d sound like a complete creep.

If he said no, Fiora might get the wrong idea—and if he confessed later, it would come off as fake.

No. This was the moment to speak his truth, straight from the heart. Only that would move Fiora.

“Lolicon? No, I’m not that kind of low-tier pervert.”

“The reason I get excited about you… is because you’re not human.”

“You’re a dragon.”

“You…!”

Fiora now stared at him with pure disgust.

The exact look you give a total pervert.
