After parting ways with Lin Shiyue, Su Cheng dragged her exhausted body back to the dorm. Sun Xiaochen and Chen Xi were sitting on their respective chairs, watching videos.

Chen Xi saw Su Cheng open the door and teased, “Oh, you finally decided to come back? I thought you didn’t want to return to the dorm.”

Su Cheng sighed and looked at Chen Xi, “Where else would I go if I didn’t come back to the dorm?”

Chen Xi shrugged: “I don’t know, oh? Wait, come here, come here.”

As Su Cheng passed, Chen Xi caught a strange scent. She grabbed Su Cheng’s hand, pulling her closer, sniffing at her like a dog.

“No,” Chen Xi frowned, staring at Su Cheng, “something’s twelve-tenths wrong, why do you have a strange smell on you?”

Su Cheng’s heart sank, a bad feeling rising within her.

She had just hugged Lin Shiyue, so she would have inevitably picked up her scent.

‘Could she actually smell Lin Shiyue’s scent?’

Su Cheng didn’t believe it and wouldn’t admit it.

“Oh, my dear sister, I’m covered in sweat, how can it not smell strange?”

Chen Xi shook her head, staring suspiciously at Su Cheng: “No, your scent, it has a trace of someone else’s scent.”

“It’s the sour smell of love.”

Su Cheng exclaimed loudly, her eyes full of helplessness, retorting, “Is your nose like a dog’s, or are you a dog? The sour smell of love? Who am I in love with?”

Chen Xi pinched her chin, very confidently stating, “I believe my nose isn’t wrong. As for who you’re messing around with, I wouldn’t know, that depends on whether you’re willing to tell me.”

“You’re just pulling my leg. Not pulling gluten is a real waste of talent.”

Su Cheng returned to her seat, not wanting to continue the conversation. This little girl Chen Xi was really good at causing her trouble.

Chen Xi said unhappily, “There clearly is something. It’s only been a few days since school started, and you’re already messing around everywhere. Later, you’ll have more than enough people for a harem.”

Su Cheng gave her an annoyed eye-roll: “Stop talking nonsense, what are you blabbering about all day? Go watch your handsome actor TV show.”

“Hmph, stinky Orange.”

“Hmph, stinky Chen Xi.”

Sun Xiaochen covered her mouth and chuckled, listening to their mutual insults.

Su Cheng stopped bothering with Chen Xi. She plugged in her phone to charge, grabbed her pajamas, and headed to the bathroom.

In the bathroom, she took off her sweat-soaked military training uniform, revealing her smooth, flawless skin in the mist.

Warm water flowed over Su Cheng, delicate water droplets sliding over her smooth skin, washing away the sweat and fatigue.

She closed her eyes, tilted her head back, letting the water flow over her cheeks and neck, and let out a satisfied sigh.

It was just that after becoming like this, the space between her legs was empty, and she sometimes felt a sense of emptiness.

She subconsciously looked down at the area below her flat abdomen, where the water flowed and converged.

The once familiar parts were replaced by smooth, soft curves.

Every time she showered, this contrast was particularly stark, reminding her of how completely different this body was from her past.

“Sigh…”

Su Cheng’s soft sigh was washed away by the water. She shook her head, as if to shake off that inexplicable melancholy.

She vigorously rubbed her hair, and the shampoo lathered richly, carrying a fresh scent, trying to cover up all other smells.

The smell of sweat, or perhaps Lin Shiyue’s scent.

She raised her arm and sniffed it. Besides the orange scent of her body wash, Su Cheng couldn’t smell any trace of Lin Shiyue’s scent.

“Is Chen Xi really a dog? Her nose is that sensitive?” Su Cheng frowned in confusion.

Just then, someone in the dorm sneezed…

After rinsing the foam from her body and hair, she turned off the water, dried herself, and put on a thin slip dress before leaving the bathroom.

Coming to the mirror, Su Cheng picked up the hairdryer and blew her snow-white hair dry. As she blew, she admired the graceful girl in the mirror, inadvertently letting out a silly smile.

Chen Xi glanced at Su Cheng: “What are you grinning stupidly at in the mirror?”

Su Cheng slightly restrained her smile and said half-jokingly, “I’m smiling because there’s a dog in the dorm.”

“Hmph, you’re the dog.”

Chen Xi stopped bothering with Su Cheng and climbed onto her bed to play on her phone.

Su Cheng sat on her chair, waiting for the washing machine to finish. She took the opportunity to scroll through videos, but Yin Xuelian’s message ruined her plan.

– Upperclassman Yin: “Little Orange, are you back in the dorm?”
– Orange Juice: “Yes, I’m back, what’s up?”
– Upperclassman Yin: “Pat, pat on the head, you worked hard 😘😘.”

Su Cheng gave an awkward laugh at the screen, forced to face Yin Xuelian’s emojis.

– Orange Juice: “It’s almost ten o’clock, Sister Lian, aren’t you going to sleep yet?”
– Upperclassman Yin: “I’ll sleep when you do, but I have something I want to ask you.”
– Upperclassman Yin: “[Image] Is this you in the photo?”

Su Cheng’s brows furrowed together, and she gasped, not having the courage to tap and enlarge the photo.

It was a photo of two people embracing. The faces of both people in the photo were unclear, but only that streak of white in the darkness was exceptionally obvious.

This was clearly a photo secretly taken when Lin Shiyue hugged her.

Su Cheng’s fingertips trembled incessantly. She knew this question might be a trick question.

First and foremost, she couldn’t admit that it was her.

Su Cheng swallowed hard, her earlobes slightly reddening, her trembling hands typing rapidly on the screen.

– Orange Juice: “That’s not me. I went back to the dorm a long time ago and didn’t go for a walk anywhere.”
– Upperclassman Yin: “Really? You’re not lying to big sister, are you 😕😕.”
– Orange Juice: “😨 I wouldn’t dare lie to big sister. You have to believe me.”

On the other end of the phone, Yin Xuelian’s lips curved into a strange smile, and a hint of cold air emanated from her.

“Tsk, Xuelian, what’s wrong with you? You’re smiling so strangely,” Yin Xuelian’s roommate shivered, looking at the smile on her face.

Yin Xuelian waved her hand, the coldness on her face instantly vanishing: “Nothing, nothing.”

After dismissing her roommate, Yin Xuelian stared at the screen again, sneering inwardly.

‘Alright, Little Orange, you’re not being honest.’

Among all the freshmen, besides her Little Orange, Yin Xuelian couldn’t find a second person with that hair color.

As for who the other person in the photo was, she still had to find out.

But nine out of ten, it was someone she had contact with in her previous life. She already had a guess in her mind; this person was…

Yin Xuelian gradually put away her smile. She typed words on the screen, then deleted them, then typed them again.

– Upperclassman Yin: “It’s good that it’s not Little Orange. Big sister thought my Little Orange had been kidnapped 😭😭.”

Su Cheng held her forehead, smiling helplessly, relaxing her shoulders and taking a breath.

‘Good thing she managed to fool Yin Xuelian.’

– Orange Juice: “Sister Lian, what are you thinking about all day? Can you stop thinking such strange things?”
– Upperclassman Yin: “No, who told Little Orange to be so popular?”
– Orange Juice: “😅😅 Am I popular? I don’t see it.”
– Upperclassman Yin: “I don’t care, Little Orange is my Little Orange anyway 😙😙.”
– Orange Juice: “😓😓”

The “beep beep” sound of the washing machine finishing interrupted their conversation. Su Cheng quickly hung up her clothes, grabbed her phone, and climbed onto her bed.

And in just those two minutes of not replying, Yin Xuelian had already sent over ten messages.

The messages were as follows:

– Upperclassman Yin: “Where are you? Huh?”
– Upperclassman Yin: “Babe…”
– Upperclassman Yin: “Babe…”
– Upperclassman Yin: “Babe…”

Su Cheng didn’t know how to reply anymore; she just wanted to end the conversation quickly.

– Orange Juice: “I’m back, just went to hang laundry.”
– Upperclassman Yin: “😭 I thought my Little Orange had been stolen.”
– Orange Juice: “😓 Can you think something good about me?”

Su Cheng yawned. After a day of military training, plus dealing with Lin Shiyue and Yin Xuelian, she was physically and mentally exhausted. As soon as her head hit the pillow, sleepiness quietly crept in.

– Orange Juice: “Sister Lian, I’m sleepy, I want to go to bed now.”
– Upperclassman Yin: “Okay, big sister will hold you to sleep. Have a good dream, goodnight 😊😊.”
– Orange Juice: “Mmm, goodnight, big sister 😴😴.”

Turning off her phone screen, Su Cheng put her phone on silent and tossed it aside, immediately feeling the whole world become quiet.

Su Cheng, wrapped tightly in her blanket, urged Chen Xi to turn off the lights. The dorm immediately grew dark.

‘Have a good dream.’

Su Cheng murmured to herself, closed her eyes, and quickly drifted into dreamland.

‘She didn’t want to have nightmares tonight.’
