Chapter 3: Gawain

Gawain?!

The moment Olivianne heard that name from Natasha’s mouth, her entire body jolted. Her expression froze in shock, her

eyes blank. This left Natasha—who had been urgently pulling her best friend along to confront the thief—completely

confused.

“What’s wrong?”

The blonde girl tilted her head, eyes full of doubt. Olivianne quickly coughed twice to avoid looking suspicious.

“no, it’s nothing. I was just surprised. You mean that Gawain? The first-year one…?”

Her voice unconsciously turned a bit rushed. Well, of course—because if she guessed correctly, this Gawain…

…was the main character from that damned NTR game!

More importantly, he was the tragic protagonist she had played for three days and nights in her previous life!

In the game, she had taken on Gawain’s role. She had explored the world through his perspective. She had read all of his

thoughts, felt the same emotions—his excitement, his confusion, his brief moments of hope, and then the crushing

despair as fate beat him down again and again…

He was her in-game avatar—or perhaps, in a way, another version of herself.

There was a strange connection between them.

And now, she was about to meet the very character she had been controlling and playing as for days?

No matter how you looked at it, that was just… bizarre. Just thinking about it made Olivianne’s heart pound nervously.

“Yes! That’s him—the one all the girls dumped and then became friends with Cassius! That poor guy… He… uh… well,

whatever! I don’t care how pitiful he is, it doesn’t mean he can turn into some weirdo while sulking! And it’s not like I

even know him! But he… he actually stole my panties! Waaa… that day after swimming class, I couldn’t find them

anywhere… I had to go commando all day. It was so breezy on the way home…”

“Okay, okay Natasha, stop yelling about that stuff!”

Olivianne quickly cut her off before Natasha’s too-loud, embarrassed rant could get any worse. The blonde girl froze for a

second, then awkwardly looked around the classroom. Sure enough, the other students were already glancing over

curiously.

Natasha’s face instantly turned bright red. She grabbed Olivianne by the wrist and shouted in panic:

“I don’t care anymore! Let’s just go confront him—now!”

You’re totally using that as an excuse to run away, aren’t you?!

Just like that, Olivianne was dragged off by her best friend, racing toward the school auditorium. Natasha was so worked

up that conversation became difficult, but on the way, Olivianne managed to gather her thoughts a little.

So… what’s Gawain’s current situation?

At first, she had asked Natasha if the Gawain she mentioned was the first-year student, but even that question was a bit

strange. After all, in a fantasy world like this, having the same name as someone else wasn’t that unusual. There had to be

more than one Gawain in the first-year class.

But Natasha—who clearly didn’t know the game’s plot—had instantly known which Gawain she was talking about. On top

of that, she casually mentioned how Cassius had “stolen away” the three heroines, just like in the game.

That could only mean that the NTR plot had already happened—and not only that, but it had become widely known

around the school.

If that’s true, then the current timeline must be the middle part of the game—the second half of the magic academy

chapter… the point where the main character has just discovered the betrayal of the three girls!

Thinking that, Olivianne felt her heart drop in despair. D-damn it…

The blue-haired loli running beside Natasha clenched her small fists. Why… why did she have to transmigrate at this

point in the game timeline…?

Before Olivianne could finish processing her thoughts, Natasha had already reached the auditorium and kicked the door

open with a loud crash. Then, dragging Olivianne behind her, she stormed inside like a whirlwind!

Inside the large school auditorium, a chaotic drama was unfolding, like some kind of public trial.

Olivianne looked up and saw a crowd of students densely packed around several figures. The whole room buzzed with

noise, everyone watching with nosy excitement, whispering nonstop.

“Gross! A panty thief should just die already!”

“How can someone be such a freak? Total turn-off.”

“Tch, I bet he got cheated on so many times that it messed up his head.”

“I used to feel bad for him, but now? Not even a little. He totally deserves it.”

“If I were him, I’d seriously consider ending it right now. What a disgrace.”

“Creepy perv Gawain, go die already—!!”

That last sentence hit Olivianne like a punch to the heart. It felt like someone had gripped her chest and was squeezing it

tight. Anxious and tense, she quickly followed Natasha into the crowd, pushing past the students one by one—until finally,

she saw the boy at the center of it all…

Gawain.

He was tall—about 190 cm—with a strong, masculine build. His chiseled face and rugged features framed by short brown

hair gave him a heroic air. A classic hot-headed but kind-hearted fool, the kind of brave warrior who never gave up, who

always smiled gently even when love went right over his head…

Yes, that was the boy Olivianne had played as in her previous life.

But now, surrounded by shouting and insults, he just stood there looking completely lost. His innocent, confused eyes

didn’t inspire any sympathy. In fact, most people thought he was just pretending—and across from him stood four people

Olivianne knew very well.

Leading them was, of course, the sneering, sinister blond boy glaring straight at Gawain.

Cassius. That slimy bastard from the game…

The moment Olivianne saw him, her fists clenched with rage. Just seeing that jerk reminded her of all the pain and

suffering he had caused in the game. She wanted to march up and punch him right in the face!

But sadly, that wasn’t a smart move—because in the game, Cassius was absurdly strong.

So Olivianne had no choice but to hold her anger back for now. Instead, she turned her attention to the three girls

standing behind him. The moment she saw their faces, another wave of pain hit her chest.

Meimel, Martina, and Rinne

The three heroines from the game—Gawain’s former lovers. Now, they were all standing behind Cassius, gazing lovingly

at his back. And when they did glance at Gawain, their eyes were full of scorn and disgust.

That scene… that scene she had witnessed so many times while playing the game…

Now, seeing it unfold in front of her with such painful realism, Olivianne felt her heart—once hardened by repetition—

shatter all over again.

wait!

Suddenly, Olivianne’s pupils shrank sharply. A horrifying realization dawned on her.

This scene… wasn’t this the very moment where the first bad ending of the game begins?!
