Huangwei’s words were nothing short of a warning to all the blood slaves present:

Don’t resist the vampires too much, or you’ll end up like those who can never attend class again.

Vampires possessed superhuman strength and perception, making humans as feeble as infants in their presence.

Watching their blood slaves try to escape or resist only added to their amusement.

But if resistance went too far or became unteachable, the vampires would lose interest.

The consequences… Huangwei had already made clear.

When Xiaan heard this, her frail body couldn’t stop trembling.

Her pupils shrank, her expression filled with terror, her lips quivering.

She recalled her repeated escape attempts just days ago, all ending in failure as she was dragged back.

The fact that her vampire master hadn’t killed her could only be chalked up to Xiaan’s sheer luck.

But she had no doubt—if she entertained even the slightest thought of escape again, the next class would find Luoyao without her desk mate.

The reality of being unable to escape was laid bare, yet despair and fear still tormented Xiaan’s mind and body.

She wanted to sob, but vampires despised noise.

Xiaan bit her lower lip hard, her hands gripping her knees, forcing back tears to stay silent.

At that moment, she felt a warmth on the back of her hand.

She opened her eyes—it was Luoyao.

Luoyao gently held Xiaan’s hand, her pure and lovely face offering a smile.

“I know saying ‘don’t be afraid’ doesn’t help much now, but you’re not suffering alone here—I’m with you.”

In this vampire castle, devoid of human rights or status, every morning brought the sensation of a powerless heartbeat and a body nearing exhaustion…

In such an environment, words of comfort seemed hollow and weak.

But the phrase “I’m with you” was a flicker of light in the darkness.

It couldn’t dispel the gloom, but it could warm a corroded heart.

“Luoyao… thank you…”

“No need for thanks. Since we’re all unlucky enough to be captured here, let’s support each other and keep going.”

Luoyao’s words didn’t mean she was optimistic.

She just figured, since these monster girls had already made her their servant, as long as they spared her life, she wouldn’t dare hope for anything more.

Of course, she wanted to escape.

But before that, Luoyao had to ensure that if her escape failed, Noah wouldn’t kill her.

Only under those conditions could she risk taking a gamble.

Their conversation was kept as quiet as possible, but it didn’t escape Huangwei’s ears.

From the podium, her long, peach-blossom eyes narrowed slightly, studying the new blood s*ave with interest.

“Luoyao… was it? The one Noah brought back.”

Huangwei murmured to herself, “An interesting girl. I wonder what she tastes like.”

She unconsciously licked her lower lip, her crimson eyes fixed on Luoyao’s exposed, snow-white neck, the delicate veins beneath her flawless skin seeming to beckon her.

Her long legs behind the podium twitched as if to move, but then the low toll of the castle’s bell echoed from the clock tower.

Time for class.

Huangwei took a deep breath, steadying her emotions, then said,

“Alright, everyone, no more chatting. Let’s begin today’s lesson.”

As she spoke, Huangwei picked up a piece of chalk and turned to write on the blackboard.

Her golden ponytail swayed with her movements, her raised right arm tugging her short blouse upward, revealing a sliver of skin at her waist.

Unlike Noah’s slender, serpentine waist, Huangwei’s figure was pleasantly plump, with a soft, bouncy quality that looked like it would feel amazing to the touch.

Only a figure like hers could make a white blouse and pencil skirt exude such irresistible allure.

Seeing this, Luoyao glanced down at her own modest B-cup chest, then compared it to Noah and Huangwei’s impressive figures…

‘Really, no comparison, no pain!’

‘What, do you need a perfect figure to be a vampire or something?!’

“Today’s topic is the difference between the daily diets of vampires and humans.”

Huangwei spoke slowly.

“Before we start, let me ask you—based on your recent experiences living with vampires, what’s their most common food?”

“Blood, obviously…” a slightly bolder girl answered.

“Correct. The answer is obvious, and I’m sure everyone here bears some wounds from their vampire masters, right?”

Huangwei meant it as a lighthearted joke to liven the mood.

But to the blood slaves, such a joke… wasn’t funny at all.

“Ahem, alright, I’ll tell a better joke next time.”

Huangwei continued,

“Back to the point. The primary source of nutrition for vampires is indeed human blood, but we can’t endlessly drain our blood slaves’ bodies. One big meal versus consistent meals—which is more worthwhile? We know the difference.”

“So, we’ve found a food that can temporarily substitute for blood.”

“That food is…”

Huangwei dramatically pulled a grocery bag from under the podium and took out a red fruit.

“A tomato.”

Luoyao froze, momentarily dumbfounded.

A tomato?

That could replace blood?

Huangwei brought the tomato to her lips, closed her eyes, and parted her red lips slightly. Her sharp fangs pierced the tomato’s skin, and fresh juice dripped out, sliding along her lips to her chin.

Her expression was one of pure enjoyment, a look Luoyao had only seen when Noah fed on her blood.

Huangwei placed the shriveled tomato on the podium, wiped the juice from her lips, and continued,

“The sensation of drinking tomato juice is very similar to drinking human blood, which is why this common human food is so beloved by vampires.”

“Plus, tomatoes are rich in vitamins A and C, as well as lycopene, which inhibits bacteria, making them the top choice to substitute for blood.”

“So, students, when you feel your body can’t keep up, try negotiating with your masters to use tomatoes for a while until you recover, and then…”

Huangwei paused, her playful gaze sweeping across the classroom, finally settling on Luoyao.

She locked eyes with her, flashing a seductive, charming smile, and said slowly, “Then let them savor you.”
