Just as the Zhang family members relentlessly questioned the old man’s abilities, a hoarse voice, laced with an aura of intimidation, abruptly assailed them!
Those who had been grumbling moments before suddenly felt an immense pressure. It was a coercion that seemed to emanate from their very souls, causing many of the older individuals to struggle, even failing to remain standing.
‘I can hear everything you’re saying!’
A voice drifted from the distance. Though not loud, it reached everyone’s ears with startling clarity.
Upon hearing this, everyone present fell silent. The old man’s recent display had successfully proven his capabilities, effectively quelling the Zhang family’s doubts.
Observing the Zhang family’s reaction, the old man revealed a look of disdain.

The old man in the courtyard introduced himself as Qingfeng Immortal. He had once been a mere thirty-year-old youth from the Wang family, unremarkable and discontent. However, a twist of fate a week prior led him to unexpectedly inherit the legacy of an ancient, extraordinarily powerful beast.
According to the treant-like beast, it had lived for far too long, losing its way in its arboreal existence. Thus, it chose to bestow its power upon him.
Although the treant exuded a peculiar dark aura, subtle yet undeniably unnerving, a sense of suspicion lingered.
Yet, compared to the immense power on offer, such concerns seemed trivial.
Consequently, Qingfeng Immortal had no reason to refuse, accepting the legacy with delight. From that day on, he began referring to himself as an ‘Immortal.’ However, due to the incomplete alignment between the inheritance and his soul, he was immediately transformed into the decrepit old man he now appeared to be.
Naturally, he was unwilling to accept this new reality.
After acquiring the inherited abilities, he discovered a chaotic black-and-white spherical entity within his spiritual energy core. It seemed to be the lingering consciousness of the treant, capable of communicating with him. It claimed to assist him in understanding how to wield his newfound power.
Through his interactions with the black-and-white sphere, Qingfeng Immortal learned that his current strength was equivalent to the early stages of a Seventh-tier Saint. On this planet, he was practically invincible. Furthermore, if he could acquire the so-called Star Source and harness its power, he might reach the peak of the Seventh-tier, or even become an Eighth-tier Demigod. At that point, not only would his power be unrivaled, but he could also regain his youth!
Driven by this ambition, he relentlessly searched for the Star Source’s location. Just as he pinpointed its whereabouts and prepared to depart, the Star Source was claimed by a silver-haired maiden.
Sensing that the girl’s power was on par with his own, and considering he hadn’t yet fully mastered his abilities, coupled with the black-and-white sphere’s warning, he decided to abandon his attempt to seize it.
Now, however, he felt he had recovered to his peak strength, and defeating the silver-haired maiden would pose no challenge. He wasn’t concerned about her absorbing the Star Source to grow stronger, for he had perceived her spiritual energy to be unaligned, making it impossible for her to assimilate the Star Source.
Therefore, he now sought to cooperate with the Zhang family to locate the girl. After all, he had heard that the Zhang family knew her approximate whereabouts. If he could get close to the Star Source, he would be able to pinpoint its exact location.
Once he claimed the Star Source, it was possible the silver-haired maiden would also become his. How wonderful his future days would be then, heh heh heh. Lost in these thoughts, Qingfeng Immortal couldn’t help but reveal a chilling smile, which sent another shiver down the spines of those around him.

Origin Star Universe, Eastern Region – Tianyu Tribe Homeworld
The capital: Glory Citadel.
Dusty and disheveled, dragging her tattered golden ceremonial robes, Bisika stumbled back to her chambers in Glory Citadel, her face clearly expressing, ‘I’m upset, come console me.’
As the chamber doors swung open, Bisika’s eyes met those of a blonde woman dressed in the Tianyu Tribe’s special steward uniform, exuding an aura of maturity and composure.
After bowing respectfully, the woman spoke deferentially:
“Congratulations on your triumphant return, Lady Bisika.”
“Oh, ‘triumphant return,’ you say! Can’t you see I’ve been beaten to a pulp?” Bisika retorted with a hint of displeasure, seemingly sulking from the vexation she endured during her previous battle.
The female steward discerned Bisika’s mood, yet, accustomed to her ways, paid it no mind.
“Then why did you not heed my suggestion and bring Lady Bina along? Had you done so, your victory would not have been so harrowing.”
Ah, at the mention of that sibling-like figure, Bisika couldn’t help but feel a surge of helplessness.
“Never mind, it was my own carelessness. Besides, let’s allow her a little freedom.”
“As you command,” the female steward replied respectfully.
“Hand over your ceremonial robes. I’ll find someone to mend them later. How did they get so damaged?”
The voice belonged to a young man in a white military uniform, seated on the sofa behind the female steward. His tone towards Bisika lacked the deference of the steward, instead sounding more like that of an equal or a friend.
“It’s nothing, just a lapse in judgment.”
Bisika tried her best to respond to her companion with a seemingly calm tone, yet a wave of unease churned within her.
She had initially believed there was only a single invading Sky Prison Beast—an extraterrestrial fierce beast of Battle Sovereign rank, lacking human form and possessing low intelligence. She thought she could easily defeat it even without Bina’s assistance.
However, to her utter surprise, the Sky Prison Beast harbored a spatial rift within its body, from which an extraterrestrial Battle Sovereign in human form directly teleported out!
Bisika, fighting with all her might and coordinating with the fleet’s planet-destroying cannons, barely managed to repel them. It was also thanks to the specialized defensive capabilities of her robes; otherwise, she would likely have been carried back.
‘A human-shaped extraterrestrial Battle Sovereign? It’s been years since I’ve seen one… I’ll have to discuss this with my siblings. This is not a good omen.’
As Bisika pondered, she also shed her damaged ceremonial robes, revealing her ‘flat as an airfield’ figure beneath her clothes, before tossing the garments directly to the man in the military uniform.
The man, unfazed, simply caught the clothes and stored them within his spatial bracelet.
Meanwhile, the female steward, frowning slightly, began assisting Bisika with changing.
“Kaso, there’s something I need to tell you first.” Bisika, having just donned her outer garment, suddenly addressed the man on the sofa with a serious tone.
“What is it? Why so sudden and serious? I’m not used to this.”
Kaso chuckled in response, though a faint sense of foreboding had already settled in his heart.
“When I went to Blue Star earlier, I encountered a group of mercenaries,”
“Oh? And then?”
“It seemed their target was Blue Star, so I simply moved to annihilate them.”
“So? Isn’t that perfectly normal? With your abilities, no one would discover it was you. By the way, do you know which race sent them?”
“I have no recollection of their origins, but this fleet was the Komsa Mercenary Army.”
“Hmm?”
Upon hearing the name, Kaso couldn’t help but freeze for a moment, then let out a sigh. “Ah, that could implicate humanity. The leader of that mercenary army is the disciple of the Emperor of Law, you know!”
“Uh, so I left some of my own spiritual energy at the scene…” Bisika replied softly, a hint of embarrassment in her voice.
…
…
What?!
Nani!!
After several seconds of stunned silence, Kaso’s eyebrow twitched uncontrollably!
‘Damn it, you destructive loli! Aren’t you just creating more trouble for us!’
Kaso was furious!

After a series of adorable pleas and relentless pestering from Bisika, Kaso finally resigned himself to the situation. Ultimately, he huffed out of the chambers, heading off to deal with the mess Bisika had created.
“Lady, you needn’t be so humble,” the blonde female steward remarked, a hint of dissatisfaction evident regarding Bisika’s behavior.
“There’s no helping it, it truly was my fault, after all.” Bisika, now dressed in casual clothes, sprawled unceremoniously into the steward’s voluminous wavy hair. The steward, accustomed to this, continued to stroke Bisika’s head.
At a glance, they might have been mistaken for mother and daughter.
“Do me a favor, A-Luo,” Bisika said, looking up to meet the steward’s gaze.
“You merely need to command.”
“You don’t have to be so formal. Just help me investigate a child.” With that, Bisika retrieved a data storage device from within her body and handed it to A-Luo.
“Using the samples and image data within, search our tribe and its affiliated races for anyone who matches.”
Taking the storage device, A-Luo inquired further, “Who is this person?”
“Apparently, it’s our new sister’s girlfriend,” Bisika replied truthfully.
