Xing Rou’er proved remarkably efficient in her tasks.
Indeed, by the very next day, both the Sun Crystal and the Chaos Crystal, these immensely precious treasures, had been delivered.
Adding to these were the Wood Crystal, gnawed from Gudou Toutian’s sword, and the Moon Crystal, extracted from the Moon Wheel Flying Dagger.
Furthermore, the crystal from the necklace she had ‘acquired’ for free from the Gudou family was now accounted for.
With items gathered from the demon’s treasury and through days of diligent searching, all eight fundamental attribute magic crystals had finally been assembled.
These included gold, wood, water, fire, earth, sun, moon, and chaos.
What transformations Ahoge Dragon would undergo after consuming these disparate elements remained a complete mystery.
“How am I supposed to eat these? They’re so hard; I can barely get my mouth around them!”
Ahoge Dragon gazed at the eight vibrantly colored crystals before her, finding them entirely unappetizing.
“The book specifies they should be arranged in this particular manner.”
Yao Yueli, for her part, had long since memorized the intricate process for handling these materials.
She proceeded to stack the Sun Crystal and the Fire Crystal, resembling a small, luminous snowman.
The remaining attribute magic crystals were then carefully placed in a circle around them.
“Little Ahoge, you need to cut your hand and let your blood drip onto the Sun Crystal.”
“Ah! That sounds like it’s going to hurt quite a bit!”
Ahoge Dragon flinched, utterly shocked, for no one had mentioned that an upgrade would require bloodshed!
“Little Ahoge, there’s no need to be scared. Big Sister will help cool you down.”
Given the unpredictable nature of Ahoge Dragon’s evolution, Blood Granny, the most powerful among them, had also come to serve as a protector.
As Blood Granny placed her hand upon Ahoge Dragon’s palm, a refreshing coolness instantly spread through Ahoge Dragon’s hand.
“This is wonderful! Thank you, Blood Big Sister!”
Ahoge Dragon’s spirits soared, knowing that this would prevent her from feeling any pain.
She then retrieved her golden-grade dagger, which Ahoge Dragon had affectionately named the ‘Little Li Flying Dagger’.
With a delicate slice, her skin parted, and large, crimson drops of blood began to well and flow from Ahoge Dragon’s palm.
Witnessing this, Blood Granny, standing nearby, felt her throat constrict and swallow reflexively.
‘How I long to taste it.’
Once Ahoge Dragon’s blood touched the Sun Crystal, the gem immediately pulsed with an intensely scorching radiance.
The Fire Crystal beneath it then ignited, and flames swiftly enveloped all the surrounding attribute magic crystals.
Before long, every magic crystal had melted into a viscous pool, resembling a thick batter.
Yao Yueli nodded in satisfaction; this transformation precisely matched the descriptions found within the tome, [Rearing Young Dragons and Postnatal Care].
She then produced a jade bowl and carefully scooped the shimmering, suspended batter into it.
“Little Ahoge, hold still. Big Sister will heal your wound for you.”
Ahoge Dragon stared at the bowl of… batter before her, idly wondering if it might benefit from a sprinkle of spring onions or a dash of sesame oil.
It was then that she felt her palm being covered by something soft and moist.
To her astonishment, Blood Granny was cradling her small hand, meticulously licking away the lingering traces of blood.
Her face bore an expression of profound enjoyment and satisfaction, a sight that was, frankly, quite suggestive.
Nevertheless, her hand felt wonderfully comfortable, and the wound was slowly but surely mending, which truly was a good thing.
“Foolish Ahoge, drink it quickly! We’ve endured so much to reach this very moment.”
Yao Yueli extended the bowl towards Ahoge Dragon.
Ahoge Dragon’s small nose twitched as she sniffed, detecting no discernible scent.
“What are you hesitating for? Drink it down immediately!”
Why was this Ahoge Dragon dawdling? Usually, whenever she encountered something delicious, she would devour it like a ravenous hound!
This… batter was exceedingly precious and needed to be consumed while still warm.
“Mhm!”
Dismissing any further thoughts, Ahoge Dragon swallowed the entire bowl in a single gulp!
“Are you feeling any changes?”
Yao Yueli and Blood Granny both leaned in, their heads close together in anticipation.
“I feel… itchy all over…”
Ahoge Dragon, her curiosity piqued, began examining her own body, with her gaze settling intently on her tail.
The itching sensation was intense, as if something was struggling to break through her skin from within.
After a short wait, scales finally began to emerge along her tail.
Scattered across her body, patches of soft, black scales also sprouted.
The most significant transformations, however, were her wings, which had visibly grown larger, and the horns on her head, which now felt considerably heavier.
Despite these changes, her stature remained stubbornly diminutive.
“Does this mean I’ve grown up? Quick, look at my attributes!”
Ahoge Dragon was brimming with excitement, feeling a surge of power coursing through her entire being—the kind that could send Gudou Toutian flying with a single punch.
Yao Yueli had already begun scrutinizing Ahoge Dragon’s attributes, and the slight upturn of her lips indicated that the results were quite favorable.

“Oh my god! This is incredible!”
Ahoge Dragon shrieked with delight, proclaiming that from this moment onward, she too was a mighty member of the dragon race!
“No wonder she needed to absorb so many attribute magic crystals; it was all to awaken these various magical abilities.”
Yao Yueli grasped the reasoning immediately.
“Foolish Ahoge, don’t celebrate too soon! Why is your magic control still only one star?”
“With such abysmal control, it will be incredibly difficult to cast spells effectively.”
Yao Yueli swiftly identified the core issue; at level one, Ahoge Dragon’s control had been zero stars.
To only possess one star at level two was simply pathetic!
“What’s wrong with one star? Didn’t you see the massive list of magic abilities I have? Hehehe! And I have so much magic power, I can just unleash spells as if they cost nothing!”
Ahoge Dragon preened, utterly pleased with herself, convinced of her newfound immense power.
“Wood Magic, Vine Entanglement!”
Ahoge Dragon recalled being ensnared by similar vines after being captured by the Blood Elf, a memory that now struck her as rather… suggestive.
She decided to try it on Yao Yueli, anticipating the sight of her wrapped in vines, her figure pressed into an even more alluring shape.
“Eh?”
Yet, nothing at all manifested.
“Wood Magic, Wooden Shield! Fire Magic, Great Fireball! Water Magic, Dragon King’s Torrent!”
Ahoge Dragon attempted each spell in turn, but to her dismay, not a single one succeeded!
“Little Ahoge, magic isn’t something one can simply pick up with such ease.”
Blood Granny, who herself possessed some magical prowess, watched Ahoge Dragon stomp her feet in frustration, finding the little creature utterly adorable.
“So, how do I learn?”
Ahoge Dragon yearned to master magic swiftly, believing it would make her stronger than everyone else!
“We’ll discuss that later, Little Ahoge. Now that you’ve upgraded, quickly provide me with a bowl of your blood so we can swiftly transform this arrow into a Dragon Demon Artifact.”
Yao Yueli produced another bowl. She had deliberately refrained from asking Ahoge Dragon for blood earlier, reasoning that the blood of a Level 2 dragon would undoubtedly elevate the arrow’s quality to a much higher degree.
“Eh? You want me to bleed again already?”
Ahoge Dragon hadn’t even had a chance to fully bask in her happiness before being asked to endure such a painful ordeal.
“It’s just a little blood, that’s all. Afterward, you can go play wherever your heart desires!”
Yao Yueli understood that this would be quite distressing for Ahoge Dragon, yet she knew it was absolutely necessary.
If Ahoge Dragon didn’t quickly grow stronger and defeat her adversaries, with her current power and intellect, she would inevitably be devoured until not a single hair remained, especially without Yao Yueli to protect her.
Still, there was no need to demand too much of her; in many aspects, Yao Yueli remained quite lenient.
“Alright, Blood Big Sister, I’ll leave it to you then. Just promise me you won’t let me feel even the slightest bit of pain~”
Knowing there was no escaping her fate, Ahoge Dragon decided it was best to get it over with quickly!
Once it was done, she could go off and play with Tulan.
“Little Ahoge, pay close attention. To cast magic, you must construct a magic array using your magical energy.”
As Blood Granny continued to keep Ahoge Dragon’s body cool, she simultaneously explained the intricacies of using magic.
Ahoge Dragon watched Blood Granny’s hand intently, where indeed a nearly imperceptible magic array shimmered into existence.
“Later, I’ll find some basic magic array diagrams for you, Little Ahoge, so you can practice whenever you have free time!”
“Mhm! Magic is super cool! I absolutely must learn a few spells!”
