“Teacher!”
“Teacher, oh, Teacher!!”
“I’m here, I’m here, I’m here!!”
Bang!
Lin Yi slammed the door shut.
The girls’ crowded faces smacked against it, making a crisp sound.
Bang, bang, bang!!
“Teacher, open the door!”
“Open it quick, Teacher! We won’t do anything!”
“Teacher, open the door! We’re organized and disciplined. We won’t mess around or harm your body, Teacher, just open it!!”
The door rattled under the pounding.
Even the nearby window started creaking, on the verge of shattering.
Lin Yi’s eyes flickered with uncertainty.
Had he underestimated the resentment in this school?
Were the girls at Yucai High School all as crazed as this group, or was it just them?
“Dr. Lin, should we open the door? Or escape through the tunnel?”
Hong had already grabbed Lin Yi’s wrist.
She pushed aside a nearby cabinet, revealing a deep, dark tunnel.
“This was dug specially for the school doctor by the two of us, but it’s never been used.”
Lan gave a helpless smile.
“…You mean every previous school doctor died on the way, without even a chance to escape?”
Lin Yi’s heart sank further.
“No, it’s that no school doctor ever dared to come. Since Yucai High School was founded ten years ago, it’s taken in ‘sick girls’ with all sorts of issues. Many of them have twisted minds. The first principal’s teaching philosophy was to let physical desires fill the voids in their hearts, and that’s continued to this day.”
“But since Yucai takes in sick girls, its reputation in society isn’t great. Most of them have blood on their hands. No matter how much the former principal claimed the students were reformed, no one dared to come.”
“Now, Yucai is one of the best high schools in the city, but that doesn’t matter. Dr. Lin, you’re the first school doctor brave enough to show up. We sincerely hope you can survive.”
Hong and Lan exchanged a glance, shrugging 🤷♀️.
Sick girls, twisted minds, blood on their hands.
Good grief.
Was Yucai High School’s predecessor a prison reform center?
This world was truly unhinged.
Lin Yi’s scalp tingled.
As a transmigrator, how could he know these deep, dark stories?
He’d simply thought Yucai was a normal, prestigious high school.
Only after arriving did he learn it was an all-girls school.
“Let’s escape first, Dr. Lin. There’s no shame in it. We’ll hold the fort here.”
Hong urged.
“Yeah, let them make appointments for tomorrow. You can figure out a treatment plan then.”
Lan chimed in.
Lin Yi’s brows furrowed tightly.
Then he slapped his hand down hard.
Escape?
Crawl through a tunnel?
He wasn’t doing that.
“Open the door!”
Lin Yi grabbed his white doctor’s coat, threw it on, and strode toward the infirmary with commanding presence.
“…”
Hong and Lan sighed, moving to the door.
They opened the iron door, which was nearly smashed apart by the dozen or so girls.
“Teacher!”
“Oh, Teacher!”
“You finally opened the door! We’ve been crying for a school doctor forever!”
A dozen red-eyed girls, panting and drooling, surged into the room like wild beasts, frantically eyeing everything inside.
“Line up.”
Hong barked a simple command.
“Oh.”
The rowdy girls obediently formed a line.
Their once-neat school uniforms were now disheveled—zippers pulled down to their stomachs, loose school pants sagging at their hips.
“Fix your clothes. Have some manners.”
Lan scolded.
“Oh.”
The girls dutifully zipped up and pulled up their pants.
“This is our first school doctor, and maybe our last. If you want him to stay with us for long, behave yourselves. I shouldn’t have to repeat what you’re not allowed to do, right?”
Hong glared sternly at each girl.
Wearing a mask and nurse cap, only her long-lashed eyes were visible, yet her authority was unmistakable despite her unknown age and appearance.
“The first one goes in. Ten minutes max. If you don’t come out, I’ll drag you out myself.”
Lan’s tone was even colder.
The girls shuddered, obedient as lambs.
The first in line, a loli-like girl, suppressed her excitement, swallowing hard, and entered the infirmary.
“Teacher, I’m here.”
Her voice was soft and cute.
Lin Yi sat at the doctor’s desk, looking up at the adorable girl.
“Ah!! 😍!”
“…Teacher, my body feels really bad.”
The loli student’s eyes sparkled at the sight of Lin Yi.
So handsome.
So beautiful.
“Height, age, test scores.”
“Huh? Does that matter?”
The loli student was about to undress when Lin Yi’s question stopped her.
“Height, age, test scores.”
Lin Yi’s fingers tapped the desk.
“…150 cm, 17, 420 points, 30 points below the second-tier university cutoff.”
The loli student seemed to hear a divine command, her eyes glazing over as she obediently sat in the chair across from Lin Yi.
“Why did you enter Yucai High School?”
“Because… I… killed someone… She bullied me, locked me in a basement, hit me, cursed me…”
The loli student murmured.
Lin Yi’s eyes narrowed, his expression grave.
[Overdrive—Sanction Mode Activated]
This loli had killed someone.
How could he tell?
“She used a knife…”
“No need to say more. Call in the next one and wait on the bed over there.”
“Okay.”
The loli nodded blankly, went to the door, called the next girl, and walked to a bed curtained off in white.
A tall girl came in.
“Why did you enter Yucai High School?”
Lin Yi asked bluntly.
In Sanction Mode, anyone within a certain range would obey his words.
The tall girl’s eyes shifted from joy to a daze.
“…I… like to hurt… myself.”
“Go call the next one, then wait on the bed.”
Lin Yi’s brows locked tight.
“Why did you enter Yucai High School?”
“I… like eating… two-legged sheep…”
“Next.”
“I was always bullied. They used a branding iron…”
“I killed two people…”
“My mom hated me, broke my leg…”
“I like bullying others…”
“I like causing pain…”
Lin Yi listened to each one, solemnly pulling out the roster Li Youhong had given him.
He flipped to the first page.
Beyond basic profiles, it was densely packed with life stories.
Each page held only two names.
