Yoohyun, as Hikaru, stood in the clan’s training grounds, a Radiance orb floating beside him. He drew the Holy Sword from his Inventory and swung it experimentally.
[Lowest-Grade Radiant Magic proficiency increased by 1%.]
[Lowest-Grade Mana Regeneration proficiency increased by 1%.]
[Lowest-Grade Mana Manipulation proficiency increased by 1%.]
[Lowest-Grade Radiant Swordsmanship proficiency increased by 1%.]
[Growth Acceleration proficiency increased by 1%.]
“This is it.” He smiled at the barrage of messages. This was the ultimate in efficient training. Using magic while simultaneously increasing mana regeneration and manipulation, combining magic and swordsmanship to level both, and boosting Growth Acceleration through the very act of growing.
Whoosh!
Hum!
“With my current mana, I can maintain the magic for about 10 minutes.”
He continued training, swinging his sword and maintaining Radiance.
[…proficiency increased…]
[…proficiency increased…]
[…proficiency increased…]
His proficiency levels rose exponentially. And as a bonus…
[Strength increased by 1.]
[Agility increased by 1.]
[Stamina increased by 1.]
[Radiant Mana increased by 1.]
Using swordsmanship and magic also improved his stats.
“Good, I’ll keep getting stronger.” He needed strength to handle the various incidents in the Jujutsu Kaisen world and the hunter registration afterward. So, he had to keep growing.
Constantly.
[…increased…]
Continuously.
[…increased…]
Unceasingly.
[…increased…]
“Ha… ha…” He repeated the process, maintaining the magic until his mana depleted, waiting for it to recover, then casting it again. He incorporated swordsmanship throughout, training non-stop for three hours.
The results were substantial.
Name: Lee Yoohyun
Age: 22
Traits: Leisure Life (EX), Radiant and Adaptive Angel (F, Growth-type)
Skills: Growth Acceleration (D, 54%), Lowest-Grade Radiant Swordsmanship (F, 33%), Lowest-Grade Radiant Magic (F, 51%), Lowest-Grade Mana Regeneration (F, 47%), Lowest-Grade Mana Manipulation (F, 42%)
Strength: 21
Agility: 20
Stamina: 23
Radiant Mana: 28
Leisure Points: 0
Growth within Leisure was reflected in reality, and vice-versa.
“The average stats for an F-rank Hunter are 20, and E-rank is 40, right?”
He had reached F-rank level stats.
“Incredible.” Just three hours of focused training had boosted his average stats from 10 to 20.
“This Growth Acceleration is even more broken than I thought.”
A 30% boost to all growth was insane. He could grow 1.3 times faster than others. And once the skill evolved, the boost would likely increase.
“Good. Very good.” He smiled with deep satisfaction. Growing stronger felt amazing, opening up possibilities he never had before.
‘So this is what it’s like.’
Hunters and villains were obsessed with power, willing to do anything to gain more. The difference was where they drew the line.
He was beginning to understand their obsession.
“Let’s do some more.” His mana had recovered somewhat, and his stamina had returned. He prepared to resume training.
But he was interrupted.
“Hikaru. Your dedication is commendable, but let’s have a chat.”
“Clan Head?”
Zenin Naobito, the clan head and his great-uncle, approached, reeking of sake. He couldn’t ignore the summons.
He stored the Holy Sword in his Inventory and faced Naobito.
“You could say it’s similar. I don’t know the specifics.”
“Ha, what can’t you do?”
Yoohyun hadn’t bothered hiding his Inventory. It was too much effort, and in the Zenin clan, more abilities meant better treatment. He openly displayed his capabilities.
“But what is it? You usually communicate through Naoya.”
“Ah, this time, it’s better if I tell you directly.”
“What is it…?”
“You’re going to fight Gojo Satoru.”
“Huh…?”
Naobito took a swig of sake, leaving Yoohyun stunned.
“Me? Against that Gojo?”
“Yeah.”
Click.
“Oh, it’s spinning. What did it adapt to?”
“…Damn it.” He was going to fight the future strongest sorcerer without even knowing it. Ignoring Naobito’s interest in his spinning halo, he closed his eyes and cursed inwardly.
‘Damn you, Naobito!’
The Zenin clan had declared war on the Gojo clan. Everyone in the jujutsu world knew. The Zenin clan had formally requested a Goodwill Event.
Learning about it only now, Yoohyun spent the next three days preparing, pushing his skill proficiencies past 80 and his average stats to around 30.
‘Damn Naobito. Couldn’t he have told me sooner?’ Cursing Naobito, he donned the Low-Grade Angel’s Combat Attire. The Zenin clan offered him their own attire, but he refused, using his status as the primary heir to assert his preference for his own beneficial Cursed Tool.
“Not bad.” The Holy Sword and attire had adjusted to his seven-year-old body, fitting perfectly.
Flap. He flapped his wings, admiring his reflection. A beautiful angel straight out of a myth. A radiant halo, pure white wings, golden hair and eyes, complemented by the beautiful attire and weapon. He always felt a thrill seeing his transformed appearance. Being beautiful was definitely a perk.
He left the room, where Naoya was waiting.
“…W-Wow, Hikaru. You look amazing.” Blushing, she quickly turned her head away.
“Thanks.”
“Hmph.”
He patted her head and headed towards the training grounds where the Goodwill Event would be held, followed by Naoya and Zenin clan attendants.
The training grounds were crowded. Zenin clan members, outsiders, and members of the Gojo clan. Among them, one person caught his eye.
“Ooh, you look really weird.”
“My lady, please maintain your composure…”
“Composure, shmomposure. I’ll do what I want, so shut up.”
“U-Understood.”
The Gojo clan’s prized daughter, with long, flowing white hair and sky-blue eyes.
Gojo Satoru. Wait, why was she a girl too?
‘Something is seriously wrong with this world.’ He was thoroughly confused by the gender swaps.
Click. His halo spun, sensing his confusion.
“T-That’s…!”
“So that’s why the Zenin clan requested a Goodwill Event…”
“We thought the Gojo child would be the strongest, but maybe not. A child with that Shikigami’s ability…”
The audience buzzed, recognizing the ability.
“Hikaru, win.”
“Lose and you’re dead!”
Naobito and Naoya called out as he stepped onto the stage. He nodded and faced Satoru.
“Hey, Zenin. Confident you won’t lose to me?” Satoru asked with a cocky grin, clearly expecting to win.
Too bad for her.
“I’m confident,” he continued, drawing the Holy Sword and aiming it at her, “that I won’t lose.” His smile radiated confidence.
“You little…!” Satoru’s face twisted in anger. She activated her Limitless and charged.
The Goodwill Event had begun.
