She is the one who started the virtual broadcasting boom worldwide by starting the first live 2D virtual broadcast in Japan.
Hitomi Tsuki.
She had her first broadcast two months ago in February and now has over 150,000 subscribers.
Since she only broadcasts in Japanese, the number of Japanese viewers is overwhelmingly large, but there is a gradual influx of overseas viewers as well.
However, in Korea, the concept of virtual broadcasting has not yet been established.
Osorin’s broadcast viewers were slowly adapting, so they quickly got used to the new form of broadcasting called virtual, but others are not.
First of all, the concept of virtual needs to be established on Korean YouTube.
Right now, Osorin is the only virtual in Korea, so we need to gradually increase the number of other virtuals.
So I sent her an email.
And the content of the reply email was as follows.
“There are no specific rules about Kirinuki, but please follow the basic rules… and monetization is fine. That’s a relief.”
I’m making quite a bit of money with the help of Osorin’s YouTube and the old man’s YouTube, so money is not an issue, but I’m not the type to refuse money when offered.
She probably allows monetization, thinking of the viewers who will come to the live broadcast after seeing Kirinuki.
It will be a great help in growing the broadcast by increasing the overseas pool rather than broadcasting only for the domestic market in Japan.
“It’s been a while since I’ve had an edited video on my channel.”
It feels like I’ve been slightly forgotten by people, but my channel is strictly for Kirinuki.
Now that Osorin has debuted as a VTuber, it’s time to get Kirinuki up and running.
There are several steps involved in doing Kirinuki.
There are many problems that can arise if you edit and upload someone else’s broadcast without permission.
The most important thing is copyright handling.
If you clip a broadcast before the broadcaster ends it and upload it to YouTube,
YouTube’s AI will mistake the clip for the original and prevent monetization of the broadcaster’s several-hour-long full video due to copyright infringement.
Full videos have dozens of ads, so if many people watch them, you can earn a large profit at once.
But if someone else uploads a clip first and takes the copyright, you lose that huge profit.
This was especially true for Japanese broadcasters who don’t edit YouTube well.
‘Kirinuki has a slightly different concept in Korea.’
Korean broadcasters’ YouTube channels have a lot of edited videos, and that’s their main income.
Therefore, if someone else edits and uploads the content of the broadcast for YouTube, the broadcaster’s YouTube channel may have fewer views.
This is why Kirinuki of broadcasters is not popular in Korea.
Anyway, in order to do Kirinuki, you have to follow the popular rules that take these points into consideration.
First.
Get permission from the broadcaster.
If there are any rules set, you must follow them.
Second.
Do not clip and upload to YouTube before and immediately after the broadcaster’s broadcast.
Since YouTube’s copyright recognition may be delayed, upload with a little delay.
Third.
Do not distort the broadcaster’s remarks or make malicious edits.
Fourth.
If there is a YouTube channel where the broadcaster’s edited videos are uploaded, it is basic not to do Kirinuki.
However, there are cases where it is permitted, and in such cases, use content that is not uploaded to the broadcaster’s YouTube channel as much as possible and upload it so that the timing does not overlap.
Strictly speaking, Kirinuki is allowed because it promotes the broadcast.
And sometimes it is permitted because the fan is grateful for simply expressing their fandom.
Kirinuki is a channel genre derived from fan videos.
Therefore, Kirinuki must always produce videos for the broadcaster.
“Shall we just do this for now? It’s good that the Japanese side broadcasts on YouTube, so it’s convenient to download videos.”
It’s been a while since I’ve edited for a long time.
As I was editing, I heard Japanese instead of Korean, and I was reminded of the past memories of Kirinuki, and I went on a rampage.
I made a total of 7 videos.
It’s been a while since I’ve made this many in a day.
‘Kirinuki videos don’t need a lot of effects, so it’s really fast to make them.’
As I said, Kirinuki is for promotion, so the main purpose of the video is to show the broadcaster.
Decorating the video with fancy effects and edits will only increase the popularity of the Kirinuki channel and will not help the broadcaster’s inflow.
It is better to help the broadcaster by making it simple and capturing the fun of the broadcast as much as possible.
In addition, since it is a clip-based video, the video length is not long.
Most videos are 3-6 minutes long, and you can make them shorter.
Simple cut editing and short length.
You can make as many videos as you want.
I finished scheduling the upload to the channel with a little time difference.
Now the 7 videos will be uploaded in order.
When I looked it up, there were no Korean channels that Kirinuki Tsuki.
I wonder how many people will see it.
“Kid, you knew Japanese too…?”
“Ah, old man.”
“I thought you knew some before, but you could listen and translate?”
“I can only speak a little conversationally.”
“No, when did you learn this?”
The old man who had come to my side and was watching my editing spoke to me.
He then laughed absurdly at my Japanese skills.
How could a kid who lived in an orphanage until a few months ago learn Japanese?
It was a laugh of frustration in that sense, but I took it lightly and said proudly.
“I was interested and looked at it a little, and I could do it. Isn’t Japanese quite easy?”
“If it was easy, people wouldn’t study Japanese like that.”
“I guess they want to learn more.”
“Yeah, let’s say that’s it. Then it’s good timing. Kid, let’s skip school for a few days around the week after next.”
“Okay.”
“…Aren’t you biting too eagerly.”
“What student likes school?”
Especially for me, going to school every day is a pain.
I don’t have anything to learn or do at school, so I want to skip it whenever I can.
It’s not boring because there’s a guy who talks to me annoyingly.
“But what are you going to do when you skip school? Do you need to help with YouTube?”
“I got a feel for YouTube with your help, and it’s because of something else.”
Saying that, the old man took out a piece of paper that was lying on the desk and showed it to me.
“We’re starting a new season of <Guys.Guys.Guys> this time. We’re going to start in Korea and go around Hong Kong and Japan. The site visit is scheduled for the week after next.”
“You’re going to take me there?”
“I don’t mind Hong Kong, but it’s a waste to get an interpreter for Japan, so you’re going with me as an interpreter. How about it?”
“Japan…”
I’ve never been on an overseas trip.
I went to a pretty good high school, so the school trip was to Japan, but the orphanage couldn’t support that much money.
Of course, I could go with the support from the school itself, but I didn’t really want to go on an overseas trip with the kids who bullied me, so I refused.
‘Is the old man feeling responsible?’
The incident that happened during the last East European site visit.
I asked Jina to keep it a secret, but it’s an important matter, so she seems to have contacted the old man.
After that, with the old man’s strong protest, Seo Hyerin was transferred to another class.
It seems that he was worried because it happened when he was not there.
“But I don’t even have a passport.”
“You can make one. They come out within a week these days.”
“I’ve never spoken properly with a Japanese person…”
“That’s normal for your age. There’s a first time for everything.”
I thought for a moment and said.
“Then, where in Japan are we going?”
“We’ve decided on Hokkaido for now, but if you want, we can add more to the schedule. I’ve set aside two weeks this time, so it doesn’t matter. Is there anywhere you want to go?”
“I do have a place I want to go to if we’re going. Tokyo.”
“Tokyo is good. It’s the capital, and there’s a lot to do.”
“Yes, it’s the capital, so there are a lot of companies.”
Japan, like Korea, has many companies concentrated in the capital.
And similarly, ‘Nanairo’, which was just established and started to grow, was also in Tokyo.
‘It would be nice to go to Japan and meet them in person.’
Nanairo’s company is in Tokyo, but visiting there does not mean that I can meet Hitomi Tsuki.
However, by looking at the inside of the company, I can know the direction the company is aiming for, so I can edit accordingly to some extent.
‘Besides, I want to try Tokyo Banana.’
It’s always recommended as a souvenir from Japan on TV.
I’ve been wondering what it tastes like for a long time.
“But if it’s from Tokyo to Hokkaido, don’t you have to take another domestic flight in Japan?”
“You can take it. It’s not a problem. Think of it as going on a personal trip after the site visit is over.”
“Oh…”
It’s not a site visit and a trip to where I want to go, but a site visit and a personal trip together, so I feel relieved.
“Okay. I wanted to go to Japan at least once, so it’s good timing.”
“Good, then let’s tell the director right away and go make a passport.”
“Ah, but if it’s a trip, can I invite someone else? You can call them when the trip starts after the site visit.”
“It doesn’t matter. If anything, you can just hang out together from the site visit. But I can’t pay for the expenses. Who are you going to bring? Those streaming friends?”
“I’ll ask them first and let you know when it’s decided.”
They’re all busy people, so there’s a high chance they’ll refuse.
Still, if I’m going on a trip, it’ll be more fun to go with someone I’m close to.
The old man said okay and left the room.
And I could hear a small voice from the living room saying that he succeeded in talking with Song Jakga and rejoicing with each other.
Hearing that sound, I chuckled and opened the chat window where everyone was in Discord.
And I was about to type to ask who could travel.
