Chapter 5: Inner Gigachad

“Hey, nong-bbit-bbi.”

The voice was heard again.

It was a familiar yet somehow strange and bizarre way of speaking.

I stopped walking and slowly turned my head.

But I couldn’t see anything.

The surroundings were still an empty, parking lot-like space, and no human figure was visible anywhere.

Yet the voice was clearly heard from nearby.

“Who’s there?”

I asked in a low voice.

My hands clenched, and my heart started beating faster.

“Me? Ah, that’s not important.”

The voice was still bright and light.

“What’s important now is you.

You, who’s walking here.”

I took a step back and looked around.

“What do you mean? Who are you, really…”

The voice said with a soft laugh mixed in.

“Relax.

There’s no need to be scared.

I’m not a bad girl.”

And then, after a beat, it continued in a brighter tone.

“Rather, I’m here to cheer you up!”

“…You’re cheering me on?”

I asked, feeling bewildered.

“Yeah!”

The voice answered excitedly.

“Nong-bbit-bbi, it’s been pretty tough for you here, right?

You’ve experienced many scary things, but you, you’re really the best.”

I was momentarily stunned by those words.

It was such an unfamiliar and strange situation, but strangely, those words sounded sincere.

“Just getting this far is great.

Only, you’ve endured so much.

Nong-bbit-bbi, you can do it.”

The voice was somehow kind and warm.

I took a moment to catch my breath and asked.

“…Why are you cheering me on?”

The voice paused for a moment.

And then, slowly, it answered in a serious tone.

“Why… because you’re a special girl who can get out of here.”

“I’m special?”

“Yes!

In this vast space, you’ve persevered alone, run away, and you live!

And you, you still haven’t given up.”

The voice became increasingly passionate.

“A girl who doesn’t give up can eventually make it.

You know?

You can do it!”

I was momentarily speechless at those words.

The events I had experienced, the warning on the note, and the moments I had escaped from them came to mind.

“So, keep going forward.

Don’t hesitate.

You can overcome this.”

The voice seemed to be fading away.

I looked around again, but still, no one was visible.

There was only the unfamiliar parking lot and the flickering fluorescent lights.

“You can do it.

nong-bbit-bbi.”

The voice whispered one last time.

Those words lingered in my mind.

I clenched my fists and took another step forward.

Even after the voice disappeared, those words remained in my mind.

I decided not to hesitate anymore.

The flickering light of the fluorescent lights illuminated my path again.

The vast space was still empty, but the emptiness felt a little less scary now.

“Yes, I can get out.”

I repeated to myself and quickened my steps.

How long had I been walking?

The surroundings were still an endless, parking lot-like landscape.

But suddenly, a small figure came into my view.

“What’s that?”

I stopped walking.

There was something lying on the floor in the distance.

At first, I thought it was an object, but it was moving.

As I slowly approached, its identity was revealed.

A small, white Pomeranian was sprawled on the floor.

“…A puppy…?”

The puppy raised its small body upon seeing me.

The fluorescent light reflected in its big, round eyes, making them sparkle.

It was staring at me with its ears perked up.

I instinctively took a step back.

The thought that I shouldn’t trust anything in this space was firmly planted in my mind.

The warning from the note resurfaced, and tension slowly crept up.

‘This puppy isn’t something strange too, is it?’

Contrary to my suspicions, the puppy showed no threatening behavior.

It didn’t bark, nor did it jump at me.

It just sat there, tilting its head and looking at me.

“…What are you doing?”

I cautiously spoke to it.

As if it understood my words, the puppy wagged its tail.

Its small, cute body moved softly.

‘What is it, it seems like just a puppy.’

Still, I couldn’t let go of my guard and slowly looked around.

I checked to see if anything else was hiding, but there was nothing.

I looked at the puppy again.

Its eyes were so clear and pure.

It felt so clean, completely out of place with the eeriness of this space.

“Where did you even come from…?”

I unconsciously reached out my hand and then stopped.

‘No.

I shouldn’t approach it carelessly yet.’

When I didn’t approach, the puppy slowly started coming towards me.

With each small step on the cold floor of the parking lot, a faint footstep could be heard.

I held my breath and watched.

‘…Is it really okay?’

The puppy stopped in front of me.

And then, it sat down, wagged its tail, and looked up at me.

It was so cute that my tension eased a little.

“What…”

I carefully extended my hand.

The puppy wagged its tail more vigorously, as if waiting for me.

I smiled as I stroked the puppy.

“You’re really cute.”

The touch of the small, soft fur felt strangely warm and real.

The puppy wagged its tail and looked up at me.

But at that moment.

“Yes.

It is really cute.”

A low, soft female voice was heard.

My whole body froze.

My mind went blank, and my hand stopped.

I slowly raised my head.

A strange woman was standing before me.

Her long hair softly reflected the fluorescent light.

She had a pale face and was quietly smiling down at me.

But the most terrifying thing was her hand.

In her hand, she firmly held a leash that was around my neck.

The leash was made of soft leather and was wrapped around my neck without me realizing it.

“Huh?”

I muttered, touching the leash with trembling hands.

The woman gently smiled and tilted her head.

“When did… how did this happen…?”

The woman slightly pulled the leash.

My neck tightened, and I felt slightly suffocated.

“Hic?!”

“A lost puppy is here.”

Her tone was gentle, but her eyes were cold.

She slowly bent down to my eye level.

And she whispered, staring into my face.

“You’re really cute.

You’d better not think about running away anymore.”

I instinctively tried to back away, but the leash was taut, and I couldn’t move any further.

She held the leash firmly, smiled slightly, and said.

“Now, shall we go together?”

At that moment, my heart started beating like crazy.

My mind was filled with the thought of running away immediately, but I couldn’t do anything while tied to the leash.

Every time she pulled the leash, I struggled to avoid being dragged.

“Let go.

Let me go!”

I screamed, but she said with an easy smile.

“No.

You’re mine now.”

The puppy quietly sat beside me and looked up at me.

As if it understood everything, with an innocent expression.

Day 1 in the endless Level 1.

An unidentified Giga Chad gave me encouragement.

It was a bit awkward, but it still felt good.

Thank you.

Giga Chad!

Ah, and today, while walking, I found a puppy.

It was a small, cute Pomeranian.

At first, I was wary, but when the puppy looked at me quietly and wagged its tail, I let my guard down and stroked its head.

But at that moment, I heard a strange woman’s voice.

A woman with long hair was standing in front of me, and there was a leash around my neck.

She held my leash and tried to control me, preventing me from escaping.

Her tone and smile were gentle, but her eyes were eerie.

“Now you’re mine.”

Her words keep ringing in my head.

Can I escape…?

Monster File: [Inner Giga Chad]

Form: Giga Chad is the voice of a young human woman.

The entity is not clearly revealed, but somehow it feels like a muscular woman.

The voice is unnaturally mixed with English and Korean.

Characteristics: It seems to try to ease tension or break down the other person’s guard by speaking in an unfamiliar tone.

The tone is always light and cheerful, making the other person feel energized or confident.

Um, can this be called a monster?

Danger: During the conversation, it seems to subtly persuade the other person to act in the direction it wants.

Well, I honestly don’t know.

It’s just Giga Chad, after all.

Weakness: Giga Chad’s entity is not clear.

Since it only approaches by voice, if you ignore it or don’t respond, its influence may weaken.

There doesn’t seem to be anything else.

By the way, what does Nong-bbit-bbi mean?
