Chapter 5 : Yukino Sora

Gazing at the delicate and beautiful black lace in front of him, Arisugawa Yuu began to ponder.

Question: Why are clothes meant for basic coverage designed so elaborately?

Answer: As the saying goes, “When people are well-fed and clothed, they begin to lust.” Once basic needs are met, humans instinctively crave more complexity and refinement.

Conclusion: Human desire is insatiable—regardless of gender.

Kinks are a kind of desire, too.

Which means that vile woman, Kanzuki Kanon, is likely to grow more outrageous over time.

Thinking of this gave Arisugawa Yuu a headache. He sighed deeply—he had to find a source of income quickly and move out to escape his manipulative sister’s control.

Compared to being dominated, he far preferred doing the dominating.

No one is born wanting to become someone else’s plaything.

Kanon had gone out after dinner, perhaps to work or for something else.

Before leaving, of course, she didn’t forget to tease him.

Yuu recalled the scene vividly.

Having just dressed up elegantly and seductively, Kanon stood tall, arms crossed, with an ambiguously suggestive smile: “My dear brother, I’m going out for a bit. I’ll probably be back tonight.”

“Got it.”

Yuu replied flatly.

Kanon frowned beautifully in dissatisfaction. “That’s your reaction?”

“What else do you expect? Should I pop champagne to celebrate?”

He meant to express his joy at finally not having to be alone with this annoying woman, but—

Kanon licked her bright red lips lazily and seductively: “My dear brother, you really should celebrate. Once I’m gone, you’ll be free to indulge your dark, primal desires.”

Yuu, understanding her insinuation, responded with a look of disgust: “Who would be interested in that kind of thing?”

Kanon gave a contemptuous smile, stepped forward gracefully, and leaned in close in an incredibly suggestive pose. She whispered into his ear, her breath warm and sweet like a maiden’s scent: “I told you, brother—the more you resist, the more excited I get.”

Her breath lingered on his ear, her soft body pressing into his chest. Below her beautiful neck, her pale collarbone was clearly visible.

If only she weren’t such a horrible person.

Yuu felt he might lose control and pin her down on the living room carpet to do what teenage boys often fantasize about.

But there are no ifs.

Kanon was not a gentle, sweet sister.

And likely wouldn’t be for a long time to come.

So, even if he was physically attracted to her, he would never fall for such a vile woman. (Confirmed.)

Feeling the heat on his legs, Kanon’s smile grew more scornful: “You say no, but your body says otherwise, dear brother.”

“…”

At that moment, Yuu sincerely thought: if he got the chance, he should really learn how to hide certain reactions.

Being mocked like this by his own sister was unbearable.

Seeing Yuu speechless, Kanon took a victor’s stance over the defeated and spoke with fake concern: “Do remember to pace yourself, dear brother. If you ruin your health, I’ll be terribly troubled, hehe~”

“Setting aside my health—why would your being troubled concern me?”

His tone was cold and distant.

Kanon didn’t mind at all. Instead, she slipped out of his arms, then like a doting girlfriend, gently adjusted his collar: “Brother, you really are adorably stupid.”

Before Yuu could respond, her expression darkened. She yanked his collar aggressively, her icy blue eyes glinting with menace: “One more thing—I have very strong desires. If you can’t satisfy them… you won’t want to know the consequences.”

Yuu didn’t want to know. Nor was he interested.

He didn’t intend to comply either.

No matter what, he wasn’t going to get involved in anything deeper with someone he didn’t even like.

No need to become intimately familiar.

As someone Kanon had taken an interest in, it was only natural that Yuu himself was exceptional.

Describing him as a princely figure straight out of a shojo manga wouldn’t be exaggerating.

So getting a girlfriend wouldn’t be hard for him—certainly not worth entangling with a woman as toxic as Kanon.

But that was for the future.

For now, he still had to temporarily live under Kanon’s oppressive whims.

After cleaning Kanon’s laundry, his phone buzzed.

Yuu checked the message.

It was from a girl named Yukino Sora.

[Yuu-nii, are you free today?]

Yukino Sora was a grade below him.

Despite that, based on her appearance, she didn’t look a year younger at all.

In fact, she was often mistaken for a middle schooler—or even an elementary student.

Yes, she was a petite girl, delicate like a doll. No, more accurately—she was a loli.

Disregarding her age, she completely fit the loli aesthetic.

Her flat chest, petite face, and long pink hair made her an undeniable textbook example.

Well, a legal loli—she was an adult.

Unlike his awful sister, Sora had a gentle personality that matched her soft appearance, which made Yuu very fond of her.

He immediately replied:
[Of course. What’s up, Qiong?]

She sent an adorable cat emoji begging for head pats.

Yuu responded with a head-patting emoji.

About a minute later, with no response, Yuu began to wonder—then another message arrived.

[Yuu-nii, the spring weather is perfect today. Want to go see the cherry blossoms with me?]

Having finished the chores and with nothing pressing to do, Yuu had no reason to decline.

[Right now? Or later?]

[It’d be great if you could come now. But I can wait too, I don’t mind.]

[Let’s meet at 2 PM at the station.]

[Okay, Yuu-nii. See you there!]

On the other end of the phone, where Yuu couldn’t see, a bright and adorable girl blushed as she murmured to herself, “I’m wearing black today… I wonder if Yuu-nii will like it.”

A snow-white cat suddenly appeared from midair and spoke human language: “Stop drooling, my dear master. Before you meet your precious Yuu-nii, you better practice your charm magic properly. I’m sure you wouldn’t want him to discover your true identity, right?”

Sora pouted, squeezing the back of the cat’s neck: “I’ve been practicing really hard these past few days. Today, I’ll surely enchant him without him even realizing it.”

The cat waved its white paws helplessly and sighed: “Why not just confess your feelings? Why all the sneaky tricks?”

Qiong nervously patted her flat chest and scolded: “Don’t be silly! What if I get rejected?”

“Then just push him down and get it over with.”

“No way! Yuu-nii said he likes gentle girls.”

The cat snorted in disdain: “Fangirl logic is beyond comprehension.”

“Hmph! What kind of pet talks to its master like that?”

Qiong glared coldly and squeezed the cat’s neck.

The cat waved its paws pleadingly: “I give up, I give up! Please stop—I can’t breathe!”

The girl’s bright eyes stared fiercely at the small, helpless kitten: “Hmph. I’m not a fangirl. I’m just… proactive with someone I like.”

The cat sighed: “Yes, yes. You’re totally right.”

“Hmph! I’m really not a fangirl.”

Sora stomped her foot in frustration.

Just then, a gentle breeze blew by, and pink petals fluttered down, landing on her shoulders and hair.

It was a cherry blossom snowfall.

She released the cat, held her delicate hand out to catch a falling petal, her face glowing with pure joy.

A passerby stopped and stared, stunned—either by the breathtaking scene or by her captivating beauty.

Or perhaps both.

Yukino Sora was just that kind of girl—enchanting and radiant like the first cherry blossoms of spring.

She carried a charm bestowed by nature itself—utterly unique, and unforgettable.
