Chapter 6: Take Action!

Ha… Huh?!

what… what is this?!

Olivianne was completely stunned. She had just barely managed to sort out her thoughts… and now, everything had

crashed again.

Blue-Haired Loli.exe: Not responding.

After standing there dumbfounded for quite a while, Olivianne finally came to a realization—ah… so she really did have a

system after all.

Well, in a way, that could be considered good news. After all, systems were a classic shortcut to success for

transmigrators. It’s just… the way this system gave out missions was really something else!

It actually let the viewers in the livestream chat vote to decide what she had to do… seriously?!

And if she failed the mission, she’d be erased? Wasn’t that a bit too strict?!

【I vote for C! It’s totally the kind of crazy move a true anime protagonist would pull!】

【Yes yes yes! Support! Confess-and-defuse strategy!】

【Shouldn’t we pick A, then break him out when he gets caught? Save the hero and make him fall for her!】

【I got stopped by a traffic officer for wearing the Ningning Detonator while riding my scooter. She

complimented me for following traffic rules. Everyone be proud of me and learn from this!】

【Objection! Everyone was voting B before! I vote B! I wanna see her go wild on those jerks!】

【Honestly, the true heroine was an otaku in her past life, so I can totally see her stealing panties from a

female friend.】

Steal… panties…

Steal panties?!

Hell no!!!

Stop having these bizarre prejudices about shut-in otaku! And don’t give them that kind of weird superpower either!

Breaking someone out of jail?! That’s suicide! I’m not some unbeatable Mary Sue super heroine!!!

Also, that guy talking about traffic safety—what the hell were you even wearing?! And are you sure the Ningning

Detonator really got you praised?! Most importantly…

WHO ASKED YOU?!

Olivianne took a deep breath. What the hell kind of weird chatroom is this?! Wait—voting was about to end soon. Don’t

tell her… don’t tell her they were actually going to make her confess and bail the scene like that?!

no—

She couldn’t bear that kind of shame!!!

【System: 5 seconds remaining. 4… 3… 2… 1… Voting closed.】

Olivianne clenched the hem of her skirt. She was even more nervous than Gawain, who was currently surrounded by

Cassius and the three heroines. Her heart pounded wildly inside her chest.

Five seconds later…

【System: Ding! Voting has ended. Final result is…】

Hiss—

【System: The result is… B: Step in and save the male lead!】

【System: Host must now rescue the male lead within 10 minutes and clear his name. Mission has begun!

Countdown: 00:09:59】

The result was a bit unexpected to Olivianne. The winning option was B, the one least mentioned in the chat. Though it

made sense—“justice” was a common value for humanity, after all—this must’ve been the will of the silent majority.

The only problem was… Olivianne didn’t want to save him. Or rather, she didn’t want to get involved with the protagonist

at all…

It was clear—this blue-haired loli had quite a lot of patience. Even with only 10 minutes left before execution, Olivianne

was still standing there hesitating.

Unfortunately, her hot-headed best friend, Natasha, wasn’t going to give her that time. Already fuming with the classic

angry-face expression straight out of a Korean webtoon, Natasha saw the silent standoff dragging on. With Gawain saying

nothing to defend himself, she decided to take matters into her own hands—to end this once and for all by exposing the

pervert who stole her panties!

“Gawain! You perverted, disgusting creep! I don’t even know you—why would you steal my underwear?!”

As she yelled, Natasha left Olivianne behind and stormed into the center of the scene, planting herself in front of Gawain

with her hands on her hips, shouting at him. Gawain turned pale and lowered his head, unsure of how to defend himself…

Cassius jumped on the opportunity like a snake. He grabbed Natasha’s shoulder, putting on an exaggeratedly sincere face

and acted all guilty as he tried to “comfort” her:

“Natasha-senpai, I’m really sorry… I suppose this is partly my fault. But I never expected that guy would go this far.

Hurting someone as noble and innocent as you—this isn’t a small matter. It’s a stain on your honor in front of the whole

school. It clearly breaks both school rules and imperial law! I humbly request that your father step in—have him arrested

and sent directly to the Tribunal for judgment…”

Listening to his exaggerated words, deliberately guiding the narrative with a fake tea-sipping tone, Natasha’s eyes

widened. A flood of shame swept over her, and she lowered her head quickly, whispering to herself about her “purity”

over and over…

Then, a wave of frustration and helpless anger surged up, and the blonde hot girl snapped. She spun toward Gawain, brow

furrowed, and shouted:

“Yes! Exactly! We need to arrest this disgusting pervert who ruined my honor! He absolutely—”

“N-no! It’s not like that, I—!”

Seeing how out of control things had gotten, Gawain finally mustered the courage to defend himself—but what use was it?

No one here believed him. Not a single person. And then his childhood friend Meimel stepped out coldly and snapped:

“Gawain, stop trying to make excuses. The panties were found in your bag—who else could’ve stolen them?!”

“yeah—just stop lying already!”

That Natasha… she was supposed to be accusing him, but now she looked like she was the one about to cry. It was like she

truly believed her innocence had been violated… This best friend of Olivianne’s honestly didn’t seem too smart. She had

completely fallen for the trap these people laid.

In that critical moment, Olivianne took a deep breath. The blue-haired loli nodded to herself and thought:

Just this once… helping this one time shouldn’t affect anything later, right? As long as I stay away from him afterward.

Besides, she really wanted that newbie starter gift pack. It was the first step to getting stronger.

Wait… what?! Only seven minutes left before I get erased?! Ahh—she forgot about that!

Snapping out of it, Olivianne shoved her way through the crowd of onlookers and pushed herself into the center of the

scene. Her small figure finally reached Natasha’s side. She gently tapped her on the shoulder.

Natasha turned around, eyes red from crying. She was just about to pour out her feelings to her best friend, when she

heard Olivianne speak in a calm, gentle voice:

“Natasha, do you trust me?”

“Huh? A-An-chan, what do you mean? Of course I trust you!”

The blonde girl looked into her friend’s eyes with full trust, and Olivianne, upon hearing that answer, smiled. She raised

her thumb and gave a confident, determined grin.

“Good. Then leave it to me—

I’ll make sure justice is done for you!”
