What is a Battle Maid?

A maid who fights, a maid who wields weapons, and so on.

There are many ways to describe it, but the important thing is that the core attribute of a Battle Maid lies in ‘battle.’

Since the fundamental concept of a Battle Maid is to protect their master at the risk of their own life, devoted protection could also be considered an attribute.

However, even that protection is carried out physically through weapons. Ultimately, ‘combat ability’ is an inseparable companion to a Battle Maid.

I looked at myself in the maid outfit, and a sigh escaped my lips. It was an outfit with a design that left me speechless.

If equipment could be destroyed during battle, I would be in big trouble. Why? Because this flimsy outfit held together by these straps would surely be ripped to shreds after a single fight!

The pieces of metal attached to the skirt and abdomen, pretending to be part of a Battle Maid outfit, were the cherry on top. Naturally, these metal pieces were completely useless in battle.

Well, they might be good for eye candy.

Indeed, after putting on this ridiculous equipment (I couldn’t bring myself to call it an outfit), the number of stares directed at me increased significantly.

If one or two out of ten people were looking at me before, now nine out of ten were staring, and the remaining one pretended not to look while sneaking glances.

Manager Kang Ara immediately brought down the hammer of justice on the viewer who made the inappropriate comment. The viewer ‘TasteMyKongaltan,’ clearly a minion of the Demon King, was thus defeated…

I winked and smacked my lips, thinking.

‘Outfit and weapon are ready…’

My brows furrowed involuntarily.

‘I have to make it self-defense, not just random killing.’

It was quite difficult. I needed someone to provoke me or for me to get caught in a dispute. And I couldn’t instigate it myself. That would be no different from grabbing a random passerby and taking their head off.

Manager Kang Ara acted as soon as I spoke. An almost instantaneous chat ban was issued, but unfortunately, it didn’t prevent the viewer from leaving their last words.

I facepalmed after seeing that chat message.

As the number of viewers exceeded 30,000, villains started to emerge. For now, the self-policing was working relatively well, but even then, irregularities appeared.

It would be strange if there were monster-spawning locations remaining near a nation’s capital. Normally, they would be eradicated for the capital’s defense.

However, in Arfellium Saga, there were hunting grounds near the Imperial Capital.

‘They probably added them when they converted it into a game…’

As someone who had been to the real ‘that world,’ it was a bit amusing.

Anyway,

Among those hunting grounds, the place I was going today was a dungeon.

The dungeon was called the Ant Nest. It was named so because ant-type monsters spawned inside. They were called Dark Ants, and they were essentially ants scaled up to the size of a small car.

Ignoring the viewers teasing me, I strode towards the dungeon entrance. The users who saw my appearance widened their eyes, but none of them offered me a party invitation.

Just as I was about to enter the dungeon,

Someone called out to me.

I turned my head and looked at the person who called me.

And I saw them.

Three people exuding a blond, tanned, delinquent vibe.

A blond guy with a cocky tone offered me a party invitation.

I chuckled at the sight.
