“Let go… Let go of me…”
“No. What’s wrong with letting me hold you for a bit?”
“Then let me get dressed first.”
“I won’t let go.”
The ambiguous atmosphere in the room continued.
Lin Shiyue held Su Cheng in her arms.
With her limbs weak and powerless, she couldn’t break free from Lin Shiyue’s hold.
She tried to struggle a little, testing to see if Lin Shiyue would suddenly let her go.
Maybe Lin Shiyue was just trying to tease her.
But as Su Cheng struggled, her back continuously rubbed against Lin Shiyue’s softness, and the indescribable sensation forced her to stop.
‘If this were my past life, my little brother would have woken up by now.’
The pliant girl in her arms settled down, and the curve of Lin Shiyue’s lips showed her satisfaction.
“Baby, you smell so good, I love it so much…”
This was the first time she had felt her warmth from such a close distance.
The sweet fragrance emanating from her snow-white skin was like a shackle, taking deep root in the sea of her heart, leaving an indelible mark.
Ever since tasting her sweetness the day before yesterday, Lin Shiyue had been thinking non-stop about tasting it again.
That deeply buried desire, the more it was suppressed, the more intense it became when released.
“Hiss… Shiyue… let me go, okay?”
Su Cheng gasped in pain, as someone was lightly nibbling on her jade-like neck, leaving a faint red mark.
“Then answer a few questions for me.”
Su Cheng had no choice; the initiative was in Lin Shiyue’s hands.
But why was her right eyelid twitching?
“You… just ask already,” Su Cheng urged shyly.
Lin Shiyue smiled calmly and uttered a few simple words, “Do you love me?”
“Why… why are you suddenly asking that?”
Being asked this by Lin Shiyue, Su Cheng was completely stumped.
“Answer me. No beating around the bush,” Lin Shiyue said sharply all of a sudden.
Su Cheng feigned a pitiful look, “Wuwu, why is everyone bullying me?”
“Oh, but I’m not bullying you. I just want your answer.”
Was this a giveaway question or a life-or-death question?
Su Cheng couldn’t tell the difference.
She still didn’t know who had stabbed her that day, so Su Cheng had no choice but to suspect Lin Shiyue as well.
After all, any of the ex-girlfriends connected to her past life had a motive to assassinate her.
“Answer me quickly.”
A chill was hidden in Lin Shiyue’s calm tone.
Her cold gaze was like needles, making Su Cheng feel pins and needles on her back.
She trembled in fear, her eyes lightly closed, her pale pink lips trembling uncontrollably.
“Why aren’t you saying anything? Huh?”
A soft, slender finger drew circles around Su Cheng’s navel.
The hand resting on her chest shifted slightly, and a cool fingertip caressed her jade-plate-like collarbone.
The tingling and itching sensation made Su Cheng’s heart race and her face flush.
Who would have thought she’d one day be teased like this by an ex-girlfriend?
“Shiyue, stop, let me speak properly.”
“What? You can’t speak when I’m like this?”
“I… I can’t think…”
“Do you need to think just to say you love me?”
Su Cheng remained silent.
When Lin Shiyue asked this question, there was only one possible answer.
But she didn’t like this kind of forced confession. She didn’t want to say it.
And she was even less willing to give Lin Shiyue anything to hold over her.
“But you clearly… said it that day,” Lin Shiyue’s voice suddenly dropped to rock bottom, like a snuffed-out wick, leaving only embers.
Lin Shiyue’s fingertips slowly slid down with an unusual meaning, stopping at Su Cheng’s waist.
“What did I say that day?” Su Cheng’s voice trembled, and a fine layer of sweat broke out on her back.
Lin Shiyue let out a low chuckle, her warm breath spraying behind her ear, “What? The night before last, you were the one who said you loved me.”
Su Cheng’s pupils shrank. That’s impossible!
She clearly remembered not saying anything after getting drunk.
“I… I was talking in my sleep!” she argued frantically, only to feel the arm around her waist suddenly tighten.
“That wasn’t sleep-talking,” Lin Shiyue suddenly bit her flushed earlobe, her voice muffled. “That clearly wasn’t sleep-talking.”
Su Cheng closed her eyes in pain, desperately trying to recall the memories of that night.
Lin Shiyue didn’t believe she was sleep-talking. Although she herself was also hazy from drinking at the time, she clearly heard Su Cheng say with her own mouth that she loved her.
That single word, ‘love,’ that she had longed for day and night, she had anticipated it for who knows how many days and nights.
But to hear it again, it was still when Su Cheng was drunk.
Even if it was very likely just her sleep-talk, the confession she heard with her own ears was an established fact.
Lin Shiyue’s lips brushed past Su Cheng’s ear, the warm breath making half of her body go numb.
Her arm was like an iron hoop around Su Cheng’s slender waist, and she could even feel the rise and fall of Lin Shiyue’s chest against her back.
“Shiyue, let’s talk this out properly, but can you let me go first?”
Su Cheng’s voice was as faint as a mosquito’s buzz, her fingers unconsciously clutching the bedsheet.
“No,” her nose brushed against the side of Su Cheng’s neck, taking a deep breath of her fragrance. “You still haven’t answered my question.”
Su Cheng’s right eyelid twitched violently a few times.
This wasn’t ordinary flirting; Lin Shiyue’s tone held a hidden possessiveness.
“You weren’t this hesitant that night.”
Her voice held a hint of laughter, but it sent a chill down Su Cheng’s spine.
“You hugged my neck and said, ‘[I love Shiyue the most]’,” Lin Shiyue lied.
Su Cheng’s lips were pressed tightly together, her mind a complete blank.
Su Cheng was indeed drunk that night, but she distinctly didn’t remember saying such a thing, let alone hugging her neck.
But the insistence in Lin Shiyue’s tone right now made Su Cheng doubt herself.
‘Did I really say something I shouldn’t have in an unconscious state?’
“Th-that was just drunk talk…”
Su Cheng stammered in reply, struggling to turn her head to look at Lin Shiyue.
“Shiyue, listen to me, woah!”
Lin Shiyue took the opportunity to turn her body around, then domineeringly pushed her down, gripping her wrists tightly.
“Answer me,” a strange and pathological smile appeared on Lin Shiyue’s beautiful face, an unusual flush staining her cheeks. “Hurry up and say it. Say you love me.”
“You’ve clearly said it before, why won’t you say it now!”
“Answer me!”
Startled by Lin Shiyue’s sudden outburst, Su Cheng stared in stunned silence at Lin Shiyue’s stern eyes.
Other than trembling, all she felt was fear.
“Shi-Shiyue, can you calm down first? Don’t be so agitated?”
The moment she finished speaking, Su Cheng’s chin was instantly seized by Lin Shiyue’s domineering grip, her tender lips parting and trembling slightly.
“But…” The sternness in Lin Shiyue’s eyes receded like a tide, revealing a thick possessiveness in her clear pupils. “But I love you…”
“You’re mine…”
Su Cheng wanted to struggle and resist, pushing her hands against Lin Shiyue’s shoulders, but she couldn’t stop her from leaning down.
Her hot breath hit her cheeks, bringing only fear.
‘The Lin Shiyue before me has a hint of yandere…’
‘Calm down, calm down…’
Drowned in Lin Shiyue’s domineering kiss, Su Cheng’s breathing gradually became difficult.
Her kiss was different from Yin Xuelian’s, and different from any other before.
If before it was like a gentle spring rain, now it was a violent storm in the thunderstorm season.
It was filled with a strong sense of possessiveness.
Like a traveler on the brink of death in a desert who happens upon a clear spring, she was frantically devouring the cool water.
When the spring was about to be drained dry, the traveler stopped.
“Hah… hah, please calm down, okay…”
Su Cheng’s persuasion was already useless. Her dark eyes were full of greed and joy, her paranoid expression fully revealed, and her ignited emotions were unleashed without restraint.
“Hehe, baby, you want to stop now? Too late, hmmph…”
Entering the second stage.
This kiss, like yesterday’s rain, was sometimes fierce, sometimes gentle.
Su Cheng stared blankly at Lin Shiyue’s face. On it, desire, greed, joy, and forcefulness flashed by like a slideshow.
Pinned underneath, there was one thing Su Cheng couldn’t understand.
Why had the Lin Shiyue from her past life, who had always been the image of a good girl, become this paranoid and pathological person before her?
She had never seen this side of Lin Shiyue, nor could she have imagined it.
But now, it was all happening right before her eyes.
‘Could all of this be because of me?’
Su Cheng fell into deep thought, but Lin Shiyue’s actions exceeded her expectations, forcing her to stop thinking.
“Haha… stop, Shiyue, don’t be like this anymore.”
During the halftime break, Su Cheng still wanted to persuade Lin Shiyue.
“Hehe, little baby, today I’ll let you know.”
Lin Shiyue panted lightly, regulating her breathing, her warm palm resting on Su Cheng’s chest.
“Whether you are that person or not, I have to tell you, I love you.”
It wasn’t a deep confession, but it was very direct, leaving Su Cheng completely stunned.
But what came next made her brain shut down completely.
“No, stop…”
“I love you, I love you the most… hehe…”
