Chapter 77: It Will Be Okay

I’m planning to start with just two or three people lightly.

Since there is already a precedent in Japan, I could follow the 5-person system, but I felt it was premature.

Broadcasts that push cuteness or sexiness as the only selling point didn’t interest me much.

Broadcasting should be fun in terms of broadcasting itself.

Cuteness and sexiness are just spices that can make a fun broadcast even more enjoyable.

“Even if it’s me, I can’t know what kind of person they are just from these documents. I need to watch them broadcast to judge.”

People who came up with original characters. People with unusual pasts. Broadcasters with considerable recognition, and so on.

People with broadcasting experience were easier to grasp because I could judge their style.

Although broadcasting experience was irrelevant for application, it doesn’t mean that it’s not considered at all when selecting.

Having different experiences from others.

This is a great help in creating RP and broadcast concepts.

That itself can attract more viewers than others and becomes the biggest weapon that can greatly expand the scope of growth.

Looking at the information board inside the building, it seems to be a place with several companies.

Since they are all names I’ve never heard of, they must be newly established or small and medium-sized enterprises.

Perhaps this building rents out offices to such businesses.

And similarly, there was no text written on the information board for room 208.

She, who was used to taking the stairs, went up the stairs right next to her to the second floor and stood in front of room 208.

At least it’s mix coffee, so that’s a relief.

Most of the questions were ones I had heard in part-time job interviews, so I could answer them without any problems.

“This is set up as a broadcasting room. Later, there will often be times when we have real-life collaborations with members or broadcast from the office, so I made it to use then. It’s well soundproofed and all the broadcasting equipment is set up.”

Two large monitors. A keyboard and mouse that look expensive at first glance. The microphone is floating in the air, and there are two computers.

“If you pass the final stage, we will support not only the avatar but also this entire setup, so don’t worry about the initial cost.”

I’ve only ever touched a laptop provided by the school as a personal computer in my life!

“First, please sit here. You know that Korean VTubers are different from Japanese ones, right? Live broadcasting is not the main focus, and YouTube is the main source of income.

You’re going to play a short story game, so please play it as if you’re really broadcasting and filming for YouTube.”

“Yes!”

“First, I’ve set up a basic avatar. I understand that you’re concentrating and making a serious face, but please pay attention to your expression as much as possible.”

I know it well because I’ve watched Osorin’s YouTube a lot.

Basically, she changes her expression according to the gameplay from a smiling expression.

That’s okay.

I’m confident in smiling.

“Occasionally, I’ll chat on the OBS screen or test donations will come up, so try communicating too. Since you said you have no broadcasting experience, I’m just letting you get used to it.”

“I understand!”

Jina asked me, who was leaning back in the chair with a lollipop in my mouth.

Her face was still close to expressionless, but somehow it was full of confidence.

“You already like her, so why are you asking?”

“I need to hear the vice president’s opinion first.”

“Are you going to keep doing that? Well, I liked her too. To the point where I can’t believe she has no broadcasting experience.”

Usually, people who don’t broadcast or haven’t filmed YouTube videos have a certain characteristic when they film for the first time.

They don’t talk because they’re awkward.

Or they get too excited and have useless reactions or conversations.

It’s to the point where the recording can be edited right away and uploaded to YouTube.

“Then Kurumi is confirmed. Who should be the other one?”

But if Jina educates her well, it should be okay.
