Summoning magic.
In my previous life, I was a swordsman, so I couldn’t use magic, so it was one of the magic spells I didn’t care about,
but from now on, it seemed like it would become one of the magic spells I never wanted to experience again.
Because I realized how f***ing awful it is to be summoned, not to summon.
The feeling of my insides being turned upside down alive was the worst. Tsk tsk, I lightly brushed off the dust on my
clothes and complained about the chains that still hadn’t disappeared.
“If you’re going to break, break completely.”
I made a strange expression as I looked at the chains that moved along with my arms and legs whenever I moved
them, making a clank sound. I tried to completely break the chains on my wrists by applying force, but they still
didn’t budge.
“…It’s not even a dog leash.”
What is this?
I could tell without looking in a mirror. That I was making a ridiculous figure.
I sighed at the cold touch of the metal on my neck, and I frowned with one eyebrow, covering my mouth with my
hand because of the sudden urge to vomit.
“The motion sickness is no joke.”
I wonder how the summoned creatures that summoners use manage to endure this every time.
I feel like I understand the feelings of summoned creatures a little. But I guess they don’t get affected as much as I do.
Maybe it’s because of my race, and I’m a somewhat special case, so I’m more affected by the unnecessary effects of
summoning magic.
‘It’s true that demon hybrids aren’t common.’
Humans and demons hate each other terribly, so the probability of a child being born between the two races was
close to zero.
Their relationship was so twisted from the past that it was more of a relationship where they could understand each
other and share love. They were races that couldn’t get along, to the point where I couldn’t understand why they were
so eager to kill each other.
To put it metaphorically, they were like oil and water.
Charlotte Cyclamen’s parents were a special case. Humans and demons were like mortal enemies who couldn’t
coexist since ancient times.
And look, Charlotte’s parents ended up breaking up anyway.
Charlotte was sealed after her entire family was thoroughly massacred in the form of betrayal by her demon mother.
The expression of Charlotte, who was betrayed by someone she believed in, was still vivid in my mind.
Well, Charlotte’s past story has one or two strange points, which is very annoying.
If I had to say, it was that she had spared Charlotte’s life when she could have just killed her for easy post-processing,
and the tears and words of unknown meaning that she saw before being sealed.
What were those last words?
It wouldn’t have been just words of sympathy. If it was acting, the woman who wouldn’t shed a single tear even if she
was stabbed, shed tears with a trembling voice, I would acknowledge it even if I gave her a genius acting award.
Anyway, her last words and tears were sure to be important information to unravel the story in the future.
I shook my head with a sullen expression.
‘Since I’ve been summoned, I’ll find out slowly.’
After finishing my thoughts, I ugh, and let out a small retch at the sudden dizziness.
I felt nauseous.
It wasn’t to the point of vomiting, but my condition was the worst. It seems that moving through space doesn’t suit
my aptitude. I frowned and looked around the place I was presumed to be summoned to, through the smoky room.
The room I was summoned to was dingy and dark, with an atmosphere where a ghost might pop out.
Is it underground?
It was a little damp and chilly, and I could clearly feel the chill that I could feel in abandoned houses or houses where
many ghosts lived.
It’s really the perfect place to summon a sinister and grandiose being like demon summoning.
Of course, I’m closer to the demons they created than demons. In the first place, Lucifel said that this summoning
magic was a summoning magic that calls demons, so it was right for Lucifel to be summoned, not me.
But not to mention Lucifel being summoned, I, a half-baked demon in the setting, was summoned.
Could it be a hint of something?
Well, Charlotte is an unofficial character and seems to be a character with many hidden stories, so it’s possible.
Maybe she inherited the blood of a demon, not a demon. I laughed at the absurd setting that I thought of myself.
In the past recollection, the woman was talking about whether Charlotte was a success or a failure in front of her, so
it might be related to that. Anyway, it seemed certain that it was an important clue.
By the way, demons.
I suddenly remembered Lucifel.
One of the two ancient demons who created the demons.
As the goddess of the demon realm, revered by demons for thousands of years, she would know important secrets
that I don’t know. If I ever have to go back to the abyss, I have more things I want to ask Lucifel.
Around the time I was organizing the information by piecing together the story I had organized so far and Charlotte’s
personal memories, I thought of that.
“By the way, if it’s summoning magic, there should be a summoner, who summoned me…”
“Oh, you can speak the language of the Empire properly this time? Then communication is possible. Is success
visible after dozens of failures?”
“Huh?”
“I didn’t have much expectation because it’s a ridiculous cult magic made by ancient people like demon summoning.”
Unfortunately, ‘he’ wasn’t summoned, but is this a success? A languid female voice interrupted my words.
The voice of a woman who is more mature than before we parted ways. My eyes trembled at the sound of the familiar
voice. I started to see the figure of a woman approaching this way, waving her hands as if everything was
bothersome, clearing away the smoke.
“This is the first time I’ve seen such a thick mana. Moreover, it’s a heterogeneous energy that is neither human nor
demon, it’s interesting. It definitely seems like a jackpot.”
The smoke cleared, and the familiar figure of a woman appeared from within.
A woman with ash-gray hair and purple eyes reminiscent of amethyst. I unintentionally held my breath at the
appearance of the woman I almost developed into a lover that I missed even after returning to the real world.
“Nice to meet you.”
I swallowed at the woman’s simple and plain greeting.
“Her full name is Leticia Lisyantus. Call me Leticia. Remember it, it’s the name of the master who summoned you.”
Leticia, who approached me, looked at my face calmly with a languid expression, made a slightly surprised
expression, and smiled faintly.
“I don’t know if I summoned you correctly. Are you an ancient demon from legend? Or just a demon?”
What should I say about this? Why is the summoner Leticia? It’s annoying to explain, so should I just confess
everything honestly?
I’m Damian Radius, and I came from another world in a new body because I missed you so much, and I responded to
your wish, what kind of reaction would she have if I said that?
……Hmm. It would be fortunate if I didn’t die.
I shuddered as I read the madness and obsession hidden in her eyes.
I don’t even want to know who the feelings are directed at. Still, I don’t want to lie to her since I met her after a long
time, so it’s rational to reveal my identity and tell the truth here….
[Sudden Quest Occurred.]
…Isn’t it? Huh?
A system window appeared in front of me.
[Sudden Quest: You who are about to tell the truth, stop for a moment!]
[If you reveal all your identities, including the truth, here, the player will sadly be locked in the confinement route! Is
a woman’s obsession scary? Currently, Leticia Lisyantus is excited. To touch such a woman, shudder, I wouldn’t do
that. You may be locked in a room that only she can enter, with shackles on your ankles and a leash on your neck for
the rest of your life, unable to return to Earth. Even so, would you reveal your identity?]
[Reward: You can avoid suspicion.]
[Failure: Confinement route and free three meals a day, food, clothing, and shelter are solved. The player will be
loved by her until death and will not be able to return to Earth (personally recommended if you like this kind of
taste).]
What do you mean, recommended, you crazy system? Weren’t you on my side? Where in the world is there a crazy
system that recommends being locked up?
‘You’re repaying kindness with ingratitude.’
I haven’t even received any kindness, but anyway.
I don’t want to be confined. No matter how many times I’m asked, I won’t be confined. I like pure love, but I don’t
want this kind of pure love.
Besides, the reward is just being able to avoid suspicion. It’s so stingy. Does something happen if you give me stat
points?
My goodness, I’m at a loss for words.
I glared at the quest with a cold expression, trimmed my expression, and asked confidently.
“You summoned me, but I think it’s contradictory to ask me a question.”
“That’s a contradiction. I summoned you. So of course you have to answer the summoner’s question, don’t you?”
“I don’t have an obligation to answer obediently. I was summoned, but I’m not bound by any constraints.”
“You’ll regret that.”
It’s like a line from a third-rate villain, but it sounded completely different to me.
A cold voice and a huge amount of mana that fills the entire room.
My body stiffens without me realizing it.
I tried to put my hand on the sword at my waist, but my body wouldn’t follow.
Regardless, Leticia started stroking the tattoo under my eye as if it were familiar, and then slowly came down and
blatantly touched my cheek.
It tickles.
Her touch was infinitely gentle, but I shivered at the chill I felt from her hand. When I took a step back, Leticia
sighed as if she was somewhat disappointed.
“It was fun to touch. What a pity.”
It was too different from Leticia’s personality I had last seen.
Is it because the worldview has changed? No. Maybe something changed her mind while I was gone.
Only five years should have passed since Damian Radius disappeared. This maturity that exudes the beauty of an
adult.
Her personality seemed to have changed a little during that time. I swallowed dryly.
“Heung.”
She snorted and narrowed her eyes. I wonder if my reaction is fun. I let out a hollow laugh and asked.
“Is it fun?”
“Very.”
“……This room, and your personality, are really in bad taste.”
“Thank you for the compliment. So, can you answer my question first? Are you the demon in the legend that grants
any wish of the contractor?”
If so.
“Is it possible to bring someone I want from a completely different dimension?”
“…For what reason.”
“Oh, it’s nothing. I just want to see the face of the man who took my first time and ran away without saying a word.”
Leticia took a deep breath and continued.
“Can you do it?”
Her eyes shone dangerously, in a different sense than before. Seeing that, I shut my lips tightly and made a decision
in my heart.
Crazy.
I must never reveal my identity.
If I get caught like this, the confinement route is confirmed as the system said.
“Can’t you do it? You can’t not do it. Then there’s no reason for me to summon you.”
“If I can’t….”
“You’re wrong. The word that should come out of your mouth is not ‘can’t’, but ‘can’. It’s possible, right?”
…Seriously, you developer bastards.
You said it was a happy academy romance fantasy. Where do you see a happy academy life? Not only is the genre
completely different, but the setting is also a mess.
If it’s an R-rated romance, you should give me a heads-up as a courtesy.
“Huh?”
She let out a low laugh and tilted her head. The blatant touch of her hand stroking my hair made my lips twitch.
