In the living room with the curtains drawn, Gu Xiya held Su Cheng’s soft and fragrant body, watching a comedy variety show on TV.
Although the beautiful girl’s lap was comfortable, Su Cheng felt like she was sitting on pins and needles.
“Gu Xiya, if you’re watching TV, just watch TV. Let me go.”
“What’s wrong? Don’t you like being held?”
“Right, I don’t like it.”
Especially with Gu Xiya’s soft chest constantly rubbing against her back, Su Cheng’s face couldn’t cool down.
Hearing Su Cheng say she didn’t like it, Gu Xiya held her even tighter.
“Then I’ll hold you until you like it.”
Su Cheng immediately changed her tune, “I like it, of course I like it.”
“If you like it, then I’ll hold you a little longer, hehe.”
“You!”
Gu Xiya couldn’t stop her wicked smile.
Su Cheng’s lips were turned down in displeasure. Just then, the phone on the table rang.
Picking up the phone, Su Cheng saw that it was a WeChat call from Yin Xuelian, and her heart skipped a beat.
However, it was just a normal voice call, not a video call, thankfully.
Seeing her hesitate to answer the phone, Gu Xiya gently urged, “Answer it. Why aren’t you answering?”
Su Cheng glanced at Gu Xiya and swallowed, “Don’t say anything. Stay quiet.”
Gu Xiya nodded, her long lashes curving into a smile.
– “Hello, Sister Lian.”
– “Little baby! Haha!”
Just hearing Su Cheng’s voice, Yin Xuelian cried out happily.
But this was not good news for Su Cheng. Even Gu Xiya had heard it.
– “You scared me! Sister Lian, can you please not shout, hmm?”
Su Cheng suddenly sucked in a breath of cold air.
A pair of warm hands were resting on her long, snow-white legs, their springy skin being repeatedly kneaded by the other person.
– “Hahaha, I was just too excited. I miss you so much, little baby.”
– “I know, I know… Sister Lian, wuwu…”
Just as Su Cheng was about to speak, those hands unexpectedly slipped under her skirt. A sense of shame forced her to cover her mouth to avoid making any strange noises.
– “Little baby, what’s wrong?”
– “No-nothing.”
Su Cheng quickly moved the phone away from her. Just then, Gu Xiya squeezed her thigh hard.
“Hngh…”
A tingling sensation arose, rushing straight to her brain.
Su Cheng shyly turned her head to glare at Gu Xiya, her eyes filled with dissatisfaction.
Gu Xiya’s triumphant smile couldn’t be suppressed, and her hands continued to move restlessly.
Su Cheng’s only free hand tried to stop Gu Xiya’s actions, but it was difficult to block her invasion.
– “Alright, where are you now?”
– “In the dorm, of course. I’m a little tired today, so I’m going to bed early.”
Yin Xuelian’s cheerful laughter came from the receiver.
– “Alright, military training is over. Tomorrow, the 8 AM classes start, right?”
– “Hmph, hmph, I happen to have no class tomorrow morning. Sister Lian is the one with the 8 AM class.”
– “Wuwu, I’m so jealous.”
Su Cheng couldn’t help but smile, but seeing the two of them chatting happily, a trace of displeasure appeared in Gu Xiya’s eyes.
Her hands launched a sneak attack, targeting Su Cheng’s flat chest.
“Hngh… stop it…”
“Hmm? Little baby, what did you say?” Yin Xuelian’s confused voice came through.
Su Cheng squinted her eyes shyly, the complex sensation making her voice tremble, “No-nothing. Goodnight, Sister Lian. I’m going to bed now.”
“So soon? Alright then, goodnight, wifey.”
“…Mm… goodnight…”
Her trembling voice uttered the last sentence, and Su Cheng hastily hung up the phone, tossing it aside.
“Xiya! Let go!” Su Cheng exclaimed in shame and anger, grabbing Gu Xiya’s wrist.
But Gu Xiya’s hand was like glue, stuck to her chest and wouldn’t come off.
“Why did she call you wifey?” Gu Xiya suddenly questioned in a low voice.
“I… I don’t know. Sister Lian just likes to call people that…”
“But you’re clearly my wifey!”
Gu Xiya suddenly threw Su Cheng onto the sofa, straddling her and glaring at her frightened, pretty face.
“You’re mine, you’re mine!”
A fiery flame burned in her ruby-like eyes, mixed with possession, grievance, and an undeniable declaration.
Gu Xiya looked down at the panicked Su Cheng beneath her. Their rapid breaths intertwined in the dim living room, with only the untimely laughter from the variety show on TV as a backdrop.
“Gu Xiya… you-you get up first…” Su Cheng trembled, her hands pressed against Gu Xiya’s shoulders, trying to push her away, but she knew it was all in vain.
Those eyes, usually so calm, were now surging with a dark undercurrent, making her heart race.
“Why can she call you that?” Gu Xiya persisted, pressing her body down even further, their noses almost touching, her warm breath caressing Su Cheng’s pretty face. “Did you allow it? Hmm?”
“No! I really didn’t!” Su Cheng hurriedly denied, her cheeks burning hot. “Sister Lian… she’s just like that, she likes to joke around. She might call anyone that…”
This explanation sounded pale and weak; even she herself found it unconvincing.
“She calls everyone that?” Gu Xiya’s brows knitted even tighter, the dangerous tone in her voice growing stronger. “I don’t like it.”
“It’s possible she’s not joking. There’s nothing I can do about it.”
Su Cheng said in a low, humble voice, looking at Gu Xiya with an innocent expression.
“Can you get off me first, please?”
“I don’t care if she’s joking or not,” Gu Xiya’s voice deepened, carrying a stubborn declaration. “Forget about her. At least…”
Her fingertips lightly brushed over Su Cheng’s collarbone, sending a shiver through her. “…when you’re with me, you’re not allowed to think about anyone else.”
As soon as she finished speaking, before Su Cheng could respond, Gu Xiya lowered her head and accurately captured those soft lips that were slightly parted in surprise.
“Mmph…!”
Su Cheng’s protest was completely sealed.
This kiss was domineering and undeniable, full of the meaning of declaring sovereignty, yet in the deepening twists and turns, it revealed a trace of anxiety, of being afraid of rejection.
Gu Xiya’s hands cupped her face, her fingertips gently yet forcefully caressing her cheeks, forcing her to accept this sudden kiss.
The laughter and noise from the TV seemed to come from another world.
Su Cheng’s mind went blank. Her hands, which had been pushing away, gradually lost their strength. All she could do was passively endure this kiss, feeling Gu Xiya’s breath completely envelop her.
After an unknown amount of time, Gu Xiya finally lifted her head slightly, her forehead resting against Su Cheng’s, her breathing still unsteady.
She looked at the dazed eyes and swollen lips of the person beneath her, and the familiar, triumphant, wicked smile reappeared in her eyes. Only this time, the smile was tinged with a deeper sense of possessiveness.
A pathological blush began to bloom in the depths of her eyes.
“Do you remember now?” she asked in a low voice, laced with a slight hoarseness.
“You’re mine.”
Su Cheng’s heart pounded wildly, almost about to burst out of her chest.
She looked at Gu Xiya’s ruby-like eyes, which were so close, and they clearly reflected her own flustered and infatuated appearance at this moment.
A pathological flush quietly crept up Gu Xiya’s neck.
Su Cheng didn’t speak, only panting heavily.
The ambiguous atmosphere in the living room continued to heat up, as if even the air had become sticky.
“I’m going to take a shower. You can watch TV for a while,” Gu Xiya got up, savoring the fragrance at the corner of her mouth.
The desire ignited in her eyes was still burning.
Su Cheng pursed her lips, a trace of fear in her eyes.
An ominous premonition arose in her heart.
“I want to go back.”
Gu Xiya smiled faintly and said calmly, “Don’t even think about it. You haven’t fulfilled your promise yet, and you want to go back?”
“Tonight, you’re not going anywhere.”
These words, like a warning, plunged Su Cheng into an endless state of panic.
Gu Xiya, however, turned and walked towards her room.
Taking advantage of Gu Xiya’s absence, Su Cheng quickly looked for a way out.
She went to the main door, only to find that it was a password-locked door that couldn’t be unlocked without the password.
The French windows on the balcony were also locked with a password. Besides, Su Cheng couldn’t possibly jump from the balcony; this was the tenth floor.
Suddenly, Su Cheng’s mind finally understood something, her eyes vacant.
It turned out that Gu Xiya had planned everything all along.
Tonight’s birthday party was just a pretext.
Her real purpose…
was to lure her into a cage and devour her completely.
