X
Thursday, around the time when lunchtime had just ended, I finished all my morning duties inside the Tea Party, changed into plain clothes, and waited in the garage managed by the Tea Party.
I didn’t bring the M1 Garand. It’s better not to leave any trace that the Tea Party is involved. Because of my wings, the driver, a senior attendant working with me, and I are easily identifiable as being from Trinity.
Therefore, hiding the fact that we are from Trinity is something we’ve given up on to some extent.
Yes…. We’re going to Gehenna now. And that too, with one of the heads of the Tea Party, Seia-sama, for discussions about the Gehenna-Trinity peace treaty, the Eden Treaty. One of the Tea Party faction leaders is visiting Gehenna, and today is that day.
Since we’re riding in a high-class vehicle used for Trinity’s official business, it’s already quite noticeable, but at least since it’s related to the Eden Treaty, which is still being kept confidential, we need to move quickly and without trouble if possible.
“Ah, you’re early, junior. Are you thoroughly prepared?”
“Yes, senpai. I hope nothing special happens…”
The attendant senior entered the garage with a car key and a personal firearm that wasn’t a Garand. The attendant senior’s personal firearm was a Benelli M1 Super 90 shotgun.
The senior said that her combat power wasn’t very outstanding, so she told me to use it if something bad happened today.
Since joining the Tea Party, I put my beloved gun Daedalus, which I used to keep in a thigh holster, in a waist holster. In case a situation arises, I’ll use the senior’s Benelli, so I place it on my left hip.
I load the items prepared for this day into the empty front seat of the vehicle.
Originally, I was planning to receive appropriate equipment support from the Justice Realization Committee, but… I thought it would be better to be thorough,
so I separately procured it from Millennium yesterday, Wednesday. It was quite a close call with time, but fortunately, it was in stock, so I was able to get it.
It might be a bit excessive, but I don’t know what kind of situation will occur… and I, a little, no, quite sincerely want to make the Eden Treaty a success.
“Is that a weapon case…? And it has Millennium’s logo?”
“We’re going to Gehenna, right? I brought it just in case. It cost quite a bit of money…”
I usually live quite frugally. The luxuries I indulge in are, at most, wing care, and other than that, I eat moderately and dress moderately. That’s why I was able to afford this sudden expense.
…Sometimes I end up making impulsive purchases, but I hope you’ll forgive me. It’s been 27 years of life, but it’s a past life, and my mind seems to be close to that of a high school girl.
“I’m sorry for keeping you waiting.”
“No, we just arrived. I will escort you to the Gehenna main building.”
Seia-sama entered the garage in plain clothes. The attendant senior opened the back seat door with respect.
“Senpai, let’s check the caller one last time before we go?”
“Ah, yes, this… it’s directly connected to Nagisa-sama, right…?”
“Yes… Since it’s an important matter…”
Before starting this work, the three, including Seia-sama, received callers in preparation for an emergency situation. Since it’s an important matter, it seems that Nagisa-sama will directly judge the situation and give instructions.
“14:12, we will begin the operation.”
“Yes… I sincerely hope that we will return without any special incidents.”
Nagisa-sama’s voice is heard from the caller.
Now it’s really… the start.
The junction where the Abydos Autonomous District and the Gehenna Autonomous District meet, we pass through the Abydos Autonomous District and move to Gehenna.
The Abydos Autonomous District was located between Gehenna and Trinity and served as a buffer zone. Therefore, unless you use a special means of transportation, going through Abydos was the fastest way.
We didn’t contact Abydos in particular. In the first place, we were moving in the direction of Gehenna from the beginning, and the matter of the Eden Treaty is confidential information.
Fortunately, the vehicle was disguised as a civilian vehicle, so there was no particular friction.
“From now on, we will enter the Gehenna Autonomous District. The Gehenna Autonomous District is not very safe.
If you get closer to the central district, the Prefect Team’s activity area is dense, so it’s relatively safe, but the closer you get to the outskirts, the lower the influence of the Prefect Team, and the more dangerous it is.
I would appreciate it if you would pay close attention.”
When the senior operates the terminal in the front seat, the doors and windows of the vehicle are firmly locked.
Unless the vehicle is submerged or half-destroyed, the door cannot be opened without operating it from the front seat.
-Ting!-
I hear a ricochet sound from the door on the side where I’m sitting. When I look out the window, I see several people who look like Sukeban giggling and laughing.
In this world where personal firearms are necessities, delinquent students are like that.
Fortunately, the surrounding Sukeban don’t attack this vehicle any further.
It’s already over the line by Trinity standards, but it seems that they’re stopping at the line of aggressive pranks that haven’t crossed the line by Gehenna standards,
and they don’t seem to have any intention of attacking or destroying this vehicle.
..I take it back.
In front of the vehicle, a large number of Sukeban block the vehicle. Judging by the fact that they are wearing helmets, they are presumed to be the Helmet Gang, Sukeban who move as an organization.
Because Sukeban who move as an organization, this kind of expensive-looking, high-end vehicle is a good prey.
“What should we do, Sora… It seems like those guys are determined, even if we break through with the vehicle…”
“Ah… Rich people! This road is occupied by our Katakata Helmet Gang! Quietly hand over the vehicle and all your money and disappear!”
“Sigh… Senpai… Please lend me your gun…”
“…Um… Huh? No matter how you look at it, there are a lot of them, right?”
Yes, well… There were more stupid Sukeban than Nagisa-sama thought. Usually, wouldn’t you think that someone like a skilled mercenary is riding in this kind of vehicle?
Or maybe they thought they could push through with numbers, but… there are just over 10 people in front of the Helmet Gang, and their equipment is cheap.
The guy who seems to be the leader, is it a captured item? A G36, it’s a pretty useful item, but due to its complicated structure, it’s vulnerable to contamination.
That means there are a lot of malfunctions, which leads to an increase in maintenance costs. In other words, it’s not a suitable firearm for Sukeban like that, who don’t have a stable source of income.
Anyway, since they don’t seem to be particularly skilled, I receive the Benelli shotgun from the senior and get out of the vehicle alone.
When I got out of the vehicle, there were a total of 13 people. Subduing that many… won’t take much time.
“What, it’s a Trinity sissy? We hit the jackpot! Put all your belongings on the ground and lie down!”
“Sigh… Let’s finish this quickly… Sukeban-san…”
“Haang..?”
I hold the Benelli shotgun in my hand and lower my posture. I extend both my wings forward like a shield.
However, I deliberately make the height different so that I can secure a field of vision between them… and… I just run in that state.
“Ha! Are you crazy! Shoot!”
The Sukeban’s return fire continues. Such a scattered shot with such cheap equipment is not a threat to me. An impact is applied to both wings.
Compared to the time with the Gourmet Research Society, it’s weak enough to be rude to compare. It wasn’t particularly threatening, so the distance between me and the Sukeban quickly closes.
“What the hell is that!”
The guy who seems to be the leader aims his G36 at me. I’ve already thought of a countermeasure.
Believing in my leg strength, I jump high over the Sukeban’s head. Assuming an acrobatic posture, I aim the Benelli at the head of the Sukeban directly below… and fire.
-Bang-
You shouldn’t think of blocking a shotgun at close range with a regular helmet. Look, the upper part of the helmet of the guy who seemed to be the leader was half-destroyed and he fainted, and his Halo turned off.
“W… What’s that girl… Wasn’t she a gentle Trinity lady…?”
The other Sukeban around are agitated. It’s a good situation for me.
“D… Don’t be afraid! Shoot!!”
One Sukeban who is a little brave… or slow to judge the situation? Anyway, one Sukeban who quickly came to her senses shouted, and the other Sukeban around aimed their guns at me.
Unfortunately, this is an open area, a road. There’s no place to take cover.
Did I say unfortunately? That story doesn’t apply to me. I hand the Benelli to the closest person, the one on the right side of the leader guy.
The Halo that was shining above the guy’s head loses its light and turns off. Before his posture collapses and he slumps down… I grab the collar of the fainted guy with my left hand and use him as a shield.
If I use my wings, I can already use 3 mobile shelters, right?
That’s the 2nd person.
The Sukeban guys go silent. I can’t see well because of the helmet, but they’re probably making a terrified face, scattering bullets at me. 11 remaining.
It’s a barrage from the 11 remaining. I use my wings to block the 5 on the right, and the fainted Sukeban, aka the shield, to block the 6 on the left.
If I keep maintaining this state, I’ll eventually collapse, but… well, there’s no reason to maintain this state, right?
Adding a slight rotation to the guys on the right, I throw the shield and disrupt their formation.
It’s not much of a formation, just a bunch of guys who were roughly gathered together, so the shooting of the 5 guys on the right stops temporarily.
I don’t miss that gap. I quickly shift my gaze to the left… and charge. The number of rounds in the Benelli shotgun is a total of 7. If I had loaded one in advance, it would be 8.
I’ve fired a total of 2 shots so far, so there are 6 rounds left in the Benelli. If you combine it with the 5 rounds of Daedalus…. It’s exactly the right number of people.
I push the muzzle of the Benelli into the head of the guy at the forefront of the 6 and knock him down. While knocking him down, my left hand takes out Daedalus from the holster.
I fire the Benelli, which is already pushed against the guy. Another Halo lost its light.
3rd person down.
While knocking one guy down, my charge stopped. Was he a guy with a little quick judgment? One guy rushes at me again.
But his observation skills were a bit lacking. I’ve already taken out my secondary weapon, Daedalus. I aim Daedalus at the guy’s head and fire. Once again, another Halo loses its light.
4th person down.
I hear the footsteps of 5 people from behind all at once. It seems that they realize that suppression using firearms is impossible and plan to push through with numbers and restrain me.
The judgment is quick. I fire all the remaining 5 rounds of the Benelli shotgun. Since there is still some distance, it only stops them a little. The plan to deal with one per shot was ruined.
Anyway, unless you hit important parts with a high-powered weapon like Daedalus or a shotgun at close range, it’s impossible to stun them at once.
At that timing, another footstep is heard from behind.
As if in time with the 5th and final shot, I throw the Benelli into the air as if letting go. The Benelli rotates in the air due to the recoil. I grab the handguard of the Benelli rotating in the air and rotate again, swinging the Benelli.
The buttstock hits one Sukeban’s head directly. It’s still not enough. I rotate as it is, trip her this time, and suppress her upper body with my knee.
The Benelli is out of ammo and can no longer be used. I put it on the ground and loot the suppressed Sukeban’s firearm. A Sten… It has an image of being cheap, but it’s a useful item.
It’s an item that has left stability in another world, but what does it matter? I fire all the remaining bullets of the Sten towards the front. I don’t know how many shots I used, but it quickly runs out.
I bring Daedalus to the head of the Sukeban I suppressed with my knee and fire. This is the 5th person. There are 8 people left. A guy who recovered relatively quickly from the Benelli barrage rushes from behind.
I throw the Sten on the ground and grab the collar of the guy who rushes with empty hands and… throw him to the ground.
-Thud-
It’s a violent sound for throwing it on the ground, and smoke is generated. Did that stun her in one hit? The Sukeban who was grabbed by the collar goes limp.
When I subdued the 6th person…
“I’ve never heard of anything like that…! Everyone, run!”
The Sukeban, the Helmet Gang, started to run away. Well… If I shoot a couple more shots as a threat, they won’t attack anymore.
I loot the firearm of the 3rd person who was subdued, the one who was stunned by being hit directly in the upper body by the Benelli.
FAL 50.41. It’s decent. I loot the magazine from the guy’s bosom. After a skillful reload, I put a few shots in the back of the heads of the guys running away.
The 7th person was subdued. The last 7th person is just for show, and the remaining 6 people will run away on their own.
I put the fallen Sukeban on the side of the road, retrieve the senior’s Benelli, and return to the vehicle.
“Did you wait long, Senpai? Here, I used it well.”
“Wow… W… Wow…”
When I returned the Benelli, the senior’s expression was… a bit spectacular.

Lots of male pronouns in this chapter, to the point where I’m not sure if it was intentional or not.
Blue Archive, to my knowledge, doesn’t have ANY males with haloes.
Hey, I went back and rechecked the chapter and it seems author has used male pronouns to refer to the sukeban in the original untranslated chapter as well, it may be a stylistic choice or a mistake. Also we haven’t seen any male students in Blue archive and the the males we have seen aren’t students hence they don’t have the halo. Please correct me if I am wrong and thanks for reading!!
